I’ve been going to Dr. Calkins my whole life, and he has always been a genuinely kind and caring dentist. He continues to show how much he cares for the well-being of his patients in how he has made adjustments during the pandemic. He and the rest of his team have taken necessary precautions to make going to the dentist feel as safe as possible. I’m grateful for these extra precautions, and I feel fortunate to have such a good dentist.

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Calkins and his staff! I've been a patient of his for 13 years and he is the first dentist where I have not needed sedation just to get in the door! His chair side manner is excellent and he always communicates effectively about what is needed. When he took out my son's wisdom teeth, he called that same evening to check on him and see how he was doing. Dr. Calkins genuinely cares about his patients. I will always recommend him!

Not only is Dr Calkins one of the best individuals around, office staff is very friendly. As a parent you always want your kids safe and to provide the best care available. Hands down best Dentist in Lincoln. Maybe Nebraska. Dr. Calkins knows what he's doing. That's all that really needs to be said. But if you want to know more... of the dentists I've encountered, he's the only one I don't dread seeing. If I have questions about a procedure, he'll take the time to sit there and explain the play by play. I also like that I don't spend the majority of my appointments in the waiting room. They get you in quick. He's quick. He's funny. He saves you loads of money!

Dr. Calkins not only practices dentistry as a fine art, he TEACHES it at the University.
