Summit continues to bill me or accept payment when my insurance is to pay. Today i had to pay when my insuance said they approved for 100%. Very frustrating

Final update: I am getting my money back (luckily) and working with insurance report Summit for having 0 out of 7 "in-network" doctors actually working at Summitt Dundee. Beware of insurance misuse! Filed a claim for services I never recieved. Also have a different list of Doctor's on insurance sites then are actually working in their offices. Updated to 1 star: there was additional billing issue and when I called to check the first thing they said was "oh you were the one with the insurance" and then said they claim would probably be denied. I recgonize that they work with plenty of insurance claims but I don't need them deciding for themselves what my insurance will accept. I thought their aim would be to support the customer/patient not provide one of the worst insurance billing experiences I have ever had. Love the dentist and the dental hygienist I work with! Would have been 4 or 5 stars for two years until today. I got new insurance and was taken to my appointment without anyone checking (I should have spoken up as well). They only checked after my appointment was over. Typically I would never have issues with the actual office for insurance issues, however, in this case they did not even input my insurance or file a claim and just said it was out-of-network. My insurance said differenetly. I had to call multiple times and eventually make another visit to get a claim filed. Fingers crossed it goes through-- if not then it is an insurance issue. To everyone else please advocate for yourself, I was very scared and did not at first but you never know!

I had scheduled an appointment with them and waited for three months. However, at the last minute, they cancelled my appointment with Dr. Kayla Haiar without informing me first. This was the worst and most impolite thing that has ever happened to me. If they had informed me earlier, I could have made another appointment with another clinic or doctor. I had already suffered for three months waiting to see a doctor and did not want to wait for several more months. I have decided not to choose this clinic again as they may cancel your appointment without asking in the future. I am uncertain when I will be able to see a doctor at this place.

These profiteers only care about one thing, and it's disgusting. They overbook, and cancel last-minute. If you do get in, half your time is spent waiting or being upsold something.

I was going to be a new patient here, but they canceled my appointment a week before. I made this appointment three months in advance, so I assumed I would be given something in the month. Considering, they were the ones that couldn't honor my appointment time. Nope, they kindly offered their soonest opening in six months. Who knows, they could also cancel that one and make me wait another six months... Just be careful when booking an appointment here.

Good service, but I had booked a full checkup with my cleaning and not just a cleaning. Didn't get a full checkup. I would never book just a cleaning because my schedule only allows me to visit once a year.

Excellent. - Speed: I was checked in, taken back, diagnosed, treated, and out the door in about 1.5 hours. Very fast. - Professionalism: Everyone I encountered was nice, relaxed, talkative, and in a good mood. Very important for a dental clinic. - My Dentist and Dental Assistant: Patient with questions, direct & clear communication, knew exactly what the issues were and gave me a plan for this visit and future visits. A nice mix of friendly and professional. Final thoughts: Honestly, I dislike going to the dentist. Though this visit kind of changed my mind. Thanks for taking care of me!
