The entire dental staff are all extremely great, from the individual at the desk who checks patients in, to the assistants, and the dentist himself! Dr. Putnam is always kind, accommodating, and an amazing dentist. Having dental work done throughout pregnancy can be difficult and scary but my experience and treatment was excellent. I would recommend Dr. Putnam to anybody and everybody.

the dental people are liars i call them on wednesday to schedule an appointment get they're automated message and leave my name and number we'll call you back in 48 hrs thursday nothing friday nothing closed saturday and sunday

For about 2 or 3 months I have been taking my two children to the dentist just for x-rays, cleanings and as of yesterday for cavities. At the very first visit I explained my son has autism and that last time we had cavities taken care of he had a lot of anxiety and asked if I would need to go somewhere else due to it. This entire time I was assured my son would be just fine. Well, both my children are used to having the laughing gas used on them to have cavities taken care of to ease there nerves. This dentist informed me as my daughter was already anxious and worked up in the chair yesterday they do not provide any of that at this facility that they only use shots yo numb them. Needless to say I ended up waking out and canceling my son's appointment. I will be going else where. What is the disappointing factor is that now we get to find a different dentist and start this whole process over again. I am a single mom who had to take the time off for these appointments which have all just been a waste of our time. I wouldn't suggest any parent to take their children here. To top it all off when they did my daughter's cleaning her mouth hurt for 3 or 4 days later. I don't think this dentist is very educated on his practices with children.

The staff is very very mean.

So irritated. Came in for the immunization clinic. They told me when I got there that it had change times and had ended 45 minutes ago. Made an appointment to get one shot for my kid, came in two days later for that appointment and they said that it had been rescheduled. No one told me! I don't live in town and I came in just for this stupid appointment. Very unprofessional and the girl at the front window was impatient with me!?

While the doctor was sweet, I didn't feel heard with my concerns for going in with my baby. I was looking for some critical thinking and basically was told things I already knew surrounding the problem. Spent 2 hours with no solution or even a gameplan. I also wish pediatrician appointments weren't mostly focused around immunizations when there's a real concern at hand.

My Mom is a patient of Doctor Thack. She has had multiple problems of getting her medication on time. We have talked to the insurance company for her medication and doctor Thack never gets back to the insurance in time for her meds to come in. So because of that the insurance company won't approve her medication. We have started over and over to get her medication between the two. Because of this she is in pain all the time. So do NOT expect to get good service from these people. Just m I'll be on to another doctor. Dont waste your time. Doctor Thack is to busy to carry about YOU.

Great place for both medical and dental!!!!

Went in for my first appointment. Front desk is always rushing and busy. I don't find that necessarily bad. It means they have a lot to do. The doctor Dr Chad was kind, patient, and listened to my thoughts and needs. It did take a total of 3 hours for my appointment from entering to exiting. They are busy so I understand. Coming from Houston, this was a nice experience. For the most part they were all are polite. Hope my follow ups go as smoothly.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a medical office. The staff is extremely condescending and rude, everyone seems to be in a rush so your concerns don't seem to matter, and if you have any problems with th he medication they prescribe you good luck trying to call them to ask about it. I'm never going to them again.

They are the only clinic that accepts my insurance, and even if they didn't they are very reasonable with billing. I had been receiving care from this clinic since I was 16. I have had a total of 3 doctors there, One being Pediatrician, The next being Primary care, then after he retired I had a new one. They are thorough with their practices. I receive care from the Dental side as well, and although they are busy and hard to get in to, the care is great as well. I have only ever had a few discrepancies with this clinic out of the 10 years I've been going there and that does not define my opinion on them. Now with the expanded Behavioral Health area as well as the affiliation with University of Nevada Reno, this is shaping up to be a great clinic for Elko.

My practitioner is nice. But she seems to be always in a hurry. The overall staff is rude. Phone calls are never returned. There's a complete lack of communication between staff & providers & patients. Nothing gets done. I'm looking for another primary care provider. Overall care at this clinic isn't good for patients.

Seemed good going in but now determined to put me into Benzodiazapine withdrawal: "Benzodiazepine withdrawal is characterized by sleep disturbance, irritability, increased tension and anxiety, panic attacks, hand tremor, sweating, difficulty with concentration, confusion and cognitive difficulty, memory problems, dry retching and nausea, weight loss, palpitations, headache, muscular pain seizure and death." Pretty sure that could be characterized as Medical Malpractice. Let's see what happens.

Never answer a damn phone

This is the only clinic that accepts Medicaid in town, and uninsured patients. As a result, the clinic has more than enough patients, with multi-system and complex needs, and financial issues. Sometimes, the people have to wait due to the fact that there is an overload of patients with one physician. The clinics are also run by State grants which allow lost cost or sometimes free prescriptions from their formulary.

What a joke. Called ahead to see if they were able to help me with what I needed. Got there a half hour before my appointment. I had to sit in the waiting room almost a hour past my scheduled appointment while the wait staff goofed off. Once in a room I had to wait another 20min for the doctor who told me that they couldn't do what I needed but they would check me for all of these sexually transmitted diseases while I was there. Seriously? Just because its a clinic for lower income does not mean I have sexual diseases. Have some professionalism!
