Completely unethical behavior by the billing department, specifically Lisa McKenzie. Please be very careful when booking your appointment. I was a new patient and made it a point to ask before scheduling my first visit whether they accept my insurance. I was told yes. Any reasonable person at that point would assume that meant routine services (like a first exam) would be covered by their insurance. After being examined, poked, and prodded for over an hour and a half I was handed a bill for $225. I was told this was the reduced and discounted rate. Nothing they had done that day (x-rays and routine exam) would be covered by my insurance. I was further shocked by the pricing quoted for the additional services I was told I needed. They totaled over $2,500. I paid my bill. The next day I reached out to my insurance to double-check why none of the services had been covered when they should've been. I was told a claim wasn't even filed by the dentist's office, they were out of network. At no point did anyone at this dentist's office inform me that my insurance would not cover any of their services. Not only that, they were all too happy to quote me pricing for additional expensive services knowing full well that I would have to pay out of pocket even though I have insurance. I have definitely learned my lesson and I hope that by sharing it here others can avoid the same pratfalls. This office didn't do anything illegal but it certainly engaged in underhanded and unethical business practices. Do not trust what what they tell you, check with your insurance before any services are rendered. I signed paperwork saying I was responsible for any payment, so I have no recourse. I won't get my money back, but I can warn others. I would give zero stars if I could. I hope them keeping my $225 was worth it.

The Doctor and the staff are incredible, well organized, thoughtful, kind, gentle and their work is astounding. I will forever trust this office with my dental needs! I love coming here.

Dr. VreNon cured my dentophobia! I've never had such an experienced dentist who worked on my teeth. 3 root canals, 5 total new crowns with buildup and pain was minimal. I didn't even need to take ibuprofen for the pain and it was gone in 24 hours. They know what they are doing and the staff takes very good care of you. Now I go without any fear whenever I have work done.

I received a front tooth implant from the dentist nearly a year ago and I am 100% satisfied with the work. Not a single person has been able to notice and it looks great

I LOVED getting to go to Desert Breeze Dental. They were a referral from my dentist in North Carolina and I could NOT be happier with the care they provide. Not only was everyone thoroughly interested in educating me about my teeth, how they worked and how best to care for them, everyone was INCREDIBLY kind. It was a genuinely great experience. Going to the dentist is one of those things you must do to maintain and promote good health. But going to see the really great folks at Desert Breeze made it enjoyable! I'm headed back in to remove the last metal filling I have next Friday. Can't wait to have all my WHITE teeth back! Thanks again, Desert Breeze!

I visited Desert Breeze because of a recommendation from a Dentist I typically go back home (to New York) to visit. I am terribly wary of the dentist, so there is that. All I can say is, do not go to Desert Breeze unless you are prepared for a photoshoot. I was asked to hold extremely large metal tongs inside my mouth and pull my cheeks apart so that they could take pictures of my mouth with a camera. Not an X-ray, or a medical tool, but a Canon camera. With an on-camera flash. Yes I’m serious. This process was humiliating and uncomfortable, and they put me through it twice. Sticking a large mirror in my mouth down to my throat in order to take pictures. Readjusting me, taking more pictures. Then once they were done, the dental assistant wasn’t happy with the photos and I had to start the whole humiliating process over again. I have never felt so degraded and violated by a dentist’s office and I have also never experienced this type of process or treatment in my life. What does this have to do with a dental examination or making sure my teeth are healthy? Are these photos going to be used for social media? I have no idea. Once I was fed up, I took the metal tongs out of my mouth, asked if they do this every visit, they said yes, and I walked out. Their claim was that they take the pictures to “show the patient the progress” - but honestly, who is interested in that? I look at my teeth every day. I can’t stress enough how awful my experience was there, because of this odd practice. If you are not okay with this, DO NOT VISIT DESERT BREEZE. I’ll also mention that they ask very odd questions on their new patient paperwork. Questions I’ve never been asked by a dentist before like, “would you say you are depressed?” And “what kind of a dental patient are you exactly?” How bizarre. No thank you.

I loved this place back in 2019. So I called to ask about making an appointment. I wasn't sure if they took my new insurance but she told me their insurance person wasn't in to verify so I could make the appointment now and it could be verified when they are in. The day of my appointment I still didn't know and I don't have the means to pay out of pocket at the moment. A lot of miscommunication, they didn't document the new contact number I gave them. Which resulted in them not being able to contact me. She also told me with an attitude "we have tried to contact you multiple times!" I needed to reschedule which they had a problem with but they didn't seem to mind a cancelation? I'm super bummed because I really liked this place in 2019. I wish they would have just documented the correct phone number when I called to make the appointment just a few days ago.

Words can't explain how grateful I am for Dr. Vrenon, Kaela, Lisa and the entire staff at Desert Breeze Dental. In the past I've had trouble finding dentists that were efficient in their work which lead to complications, a hole in my wallet and lower self esteem especially when I smiled. Ever since I started going here is when all my dental worries went away. The Doctor and the staff are incredible, well organized, thoughtful, kind, gentle and their work is astounding. I will forever trust this office with my dental needs regardless if its accepted by my insurance or cash pay. On that note, take a look at my beautiful crown they put in today. The color is perfect in all lightings and it fits comfortably with my bite. A big THANK YOU for taking care of me and building my confidence back up.

Every visit is always a pleasure. From the time I walk in, Christina is very welcoming and upbeat. If you need a good, gentle cleaning, you MUST see Andy. She only works Tuesdays but makes keeping your mouth clean less of a chore. Dr. Vrenon is by far the BEST dentist in Las Vegas by far! His brilliance and planning rivals the best dentist in the country and he should be mentioned with the best if he isn't already. And last but definitely not least, the heartbeat of the office, Lisa. She is what i like to call "Triple A" (Awesome And Amazing). She is very pleasant, fair, and understanding. She always looks out for our best interest. If you are looking for an excellent, safe, gentle experience, please make Desert Breeze Dental and Dr. Vrenon your dentist of choice. You'll regret it if you don't...

I had been going to the same dentist for a long time and was fine with the service that I was receiving there but they seemed a little outdated. A Friend said that I should try their dentist, so I agreed and on my first visit I was surprised how modern the office was and the level of service I received. The staff was very friendly and on my first exam they used equipment that my dentist did not even have. I have a crown replaced which I was happy with. I think I will stick with this dental office and not go back to my old dentist. I Recommend this dental practice to anyone that is looking for a permanent dentist.

My wife got her root canal done. Dr. Sarles explained the process to me detail and perform the root canal precisely and gently. And her assistant is awesome! The staff very very friendly. I recommend going to her for any of your dental work!

Dr. Vrenon is quick and does great quality work. We've never had any issues with dental treatment received in the 15+ years my family has been going to his practice. Hands down, he is the best dentist in town and the office is very welcoming, clean, modern and they don't have you waiting forever to see the doctor!

Lisa was the person in the office that did this. She was terrible and lied to me wasting my time and money. I called and told her I was in pain and I was referred to Dr. Brizzee, she told me he was not available today, but his partner was there and available today, that was a lie. Then I drive all the way across town and get there and I ask if Dr. Brizzee works there. She said, no, but we have a dentist that can see, you, so she lied again. I had explained on the phone I needed a specific kind of Dr. for this due to extreme pain. She tried to get me to stay there and see a regular old dentist which I already had. I told her on the phone and in person that my regular dentist had already referred me to Dr. Brizzee. She then tried to give me a referral to the real Dr. Brizzee so that she could get a kick back. Terrible service and customer service, very shady. I would not recommend anyone to go there.

I highly recommend Dr. Sarles and the team at Desert Breeze Dental. They were friendly, efficient, and really listened to my dental concerns. I feel like my treatment plan fit my dental health goals and Katie the hygienist was great! They also managed social distancing with ease. Great practice with excellent attention to patient care.

It's been a while since I walked into a dental office and really felt special... They were more than just awesome... They helped us when nobody else did... Professional, quick, friendly great staff... I'll recommend them 500% honesty... Never again! After numerous times of suspiciously badgering me to replace my fillings and as far as going on to lie that I now have cavities and slight decay in my filling areas, I went for 2nd opinion and guess what; came out with a clean bill of health! One thing I wont tolerate is a lying, untrustworthy physician to do anything to get additional funds for their own satisfaction! Shame!!

I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve always had such good experiences. Caring dentist and painless.
