Dr. Barbosa saved my life. Literally. He and his staff are a team of experts. I have had a phobia of the Dentist since I was a little girl. When about 5 years old, I had a horrible horrible experience with the dentist and I have been terrified of the dentist ever since. I developed a phobia. I also Love Candy! I have been a candy fan (& snacks) since I was a very little girl. I grew up being active & athletic. Have bumped my mouth, fractured my front tooth, you name it. It's been an obstacle course. I've had a few nightmare experiences in town throughout the years with Dentists here in Las Vegas. Absolutely horrible. I feel it's been hard to find good honest & trustworthy dentists. When I had got my wisdom teeth pulled out in my mid twenties, a dentist chipped my side teeth!!!! &It was all down hill from there. I have also been to UNLV campus of Dentistry for urgent care in the past and every experience prior to meeting this doctor was a nightmare to me. I was referred to Dr. Barbosa. Dr. Barbosa and his team are very reputable Dentists and these doctors took special care of my needs. They consulted facts with me. And took care of me. Walking me through options. Between both of their locations with my surgery & x-rays, the plan & process with his scope of work, he has helped and given me my smile back!!! I can't remember the last time I have SMILED with confidence, AND ear to ear. This has been one of the most emotional experiences of my life. Every consult that I went to PRIOR to meeting & finding Dr Barbosa left me lost & in tears. He is thorough and has done my implants with diligence. It was a Tedious process. His level of expertise is beyond measurable. I din't know what to expect. He made sure I was ok and he checked in on me during my healing processes, after surgery & everything! I scheduled an appointment for a simple bonding. After mounds of paper work Dr Barbosa tried to bamboozle me with barbiturates which is not needed for this procedure. When I refused the anesthesia and asked for billing readjustment I was rebuked. I left. He should have just said he didn’t know how to do it. Not try to pad the bill.

Hands down the best dentist I have ever been to! Today was my first appointment there and it had been a few years since I've seen a dentist so finding a great one was imperative. Dr. Barbosa is extremely soft-spoken and communicates through the whole process. He never seemed to be hurried and spent time on each question or issue I brought up about my teeth. I had some old dental work that needed done and ,due to another last minute cancellation, he was able to knock it all out in the same day, saving me another trip back. Highly recommend!

Awesome dentist!! Comfort me when I have a fear of the dentist! AWESOME UPDATE, 2nd visit as I have a fear, well use to have fear of the dentist, for a very bad tooth infection and then had an extraction a few days after antibiotics (love the extra safety Barbosa and his staff goes). This second extraction was freakin cool because I was scared like a big baby lol and Barbosa and his staff are so calm, pleasant, and gentle as can be!!!! I love them.
