Doubt I'll ever visit this office again. 1 to many mistakes made. Today was the last chance & they blew it.

My experience with Deer Springs Modern Dentistry has been exceptional. The Front desk receptionists, each visit, has greeted me with a smile and processed me immediately. The dental assistants have engaged me with meaningful conversation while prepping me for X-rays and letting me know what to expect. Drs. Nyguen and Lee are both greatly knowledgeable and have made the uncomfortable procedures of my root canal and subsequent procedures so much easier to bear and virtually painless; something that is usually not synonymous with dentistry. Waited in a dentist chair in room 11 for TWO HOURS (after X-rays) and wasn’t even seen or told they were busy etc. so I went up to the front and rescheduled and no one even apologized even after I told them what happened… this is unacceptable.

I NEVER write reviews but I had such a negative experience with this office that I feel the need to warn others. I got new dental insurance with my new job so I decided to make an appointment for my routine 6 month cleaning at this office as it was near my home and they took my insurance. Aside from not receiving the intake paperwork via email prior to my appointment as promised due to a typo (which I had to call twice to finally get fixed despite confirming it twice), it was an overall easy and pleasant experience. That is, until I actually met with the dentist to review my x-rays. He was not very friendly, and despite having regular cleanings prior, he informed me that I was in the third stage of gum disease which required a deep cleaning, as well as I needed two root canals and two new crowns which he pointed out in my x-rays. I was shocked to say the least given I usually make an effort to take care of my mouth and have had no issues for years. Then, he has a young lady from the front desk come in to review pricing with me, and she proceeds to quote me over $6,000 for all of this work, including over $500 for the deep cleaning alone even with insurance. I told her I was not in the position to pay for this and requested the regular cleaning I came for. She proceeded to tell me that “legally” they were REQUIRED to give me the deep cleaning given my diagnosis. I was immediately suspicious but almost went through with it before deciding to leave and obtain a second opinion first. My partner suggested his dentist office which he has had great experiences with - Thank you Smiles For Life! - so I requested copies of my X-rays and sent them over to them. At this appointment, I informed my welcoming new dentist of my experience and after reviewing my X-rays as well as new photos taken of my teeth, he told me he saw no evidence of any cavities and stated I did not even meet the criteria needed to qualify for a deep clean, so as I suspected he confirmed only a regular clea

I just called this office for an appointment cause I told them that I have had a toothache all weekend and asked for an appointment for today, but the lady wanted to schedule me for next Monday. I want her to have a toothache for a week. Don’t recommend them!!!!

Staff is friendly, dentist tried rushing me through treatment options. The cleanliness of the procedure rooms and bathrooms could be a lot better.

Professional, clean and great pricing. I went here as a second opinion and they also take my insurance. They were amazing from the front office to the Dr’s. Everyone was polite and professional. I just found my new Dentist. Thank you all for being amazing and solving my dental issues.

First off, I absolutely love my hygienist Jenni. However, this office is under new management and there is a lot of new employees including the entire front desk staff. Lets just say I dealt with very rude and unprofessional employees at this office during my most recent visit. My appt was just your basic x-rays and cleaning and I was there for over 2 hours. Don’t waste your time!

The initial first time exams and xrays were very uncomfortable and annoying. The entire process took a little over 2 hours!!! There was also a lot of wait time in between seeing the dentist. I had to request to see the dentist to start the cleaning. The office is 100% electronic and digital which has pros and cons to that process. The whole experience was completely different from any first time dentist I've been to in Michigan. I have to go back to have work done and because I might as well follow thru on this long process.

Ever since the new “office manager” took over this place is a s show! Super unorganized, rude staff, countless errors!!!! Families beware! Take your business elsewhere. Ineptitude at its finest.

Incredibly RUDE staff. Do not go here. Incompetent and completely unprofessional. For this to supposedly be a professional medical office, there are incredibly rude, condescending, and uncaring about who and how they deal with people. BEWARE!!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE. VERY INEFFICIENT. My dad made an appointment 6 months ago for a cleaning today, September 20th at 930am. He found out yesterday from the dental office that they hadn't received approval from the VA. So my dad called the VA, who told him that they had sent the approval already but will send it again. Today, my dad called the dental office to see if they finally got the approval- they did, so they told him to come in for a 12pm appointment. My dad arrived 15min early, then waited for over 45min in the waiting room. He asked the girl at the desk to see how much longer he'd have to wait since it was already past the time of his appointment. Finally, the dentist called him and led him to the room, where the dentist started to review my dad's meds. After all this wait, he was told that she couldn't perform his cleaning because he takes blood thinners... My dad is upset and frustrated because he waited all this time for nothing. He had been here twice before and did not have this issue- once was a deep cleaning and they even suggested a tooth be pulled out. However, today she told him he couldn't get a cleaning without a release from his doctor due to a risk of bleeding out. He understands that there are procedures that must be followed, but they should have reviewed his records beforehand or scheduled him to come in on a different day, rather than telling him to come in today because he basically wasted his time. He has a heart condition and this caused him a lot of stress and frustration.

The staff and Dentist here are pleasant. I have one concern though. During my 1st visit in August, they took x-rays and photos of my teeth. Dr. Lee explained that I needed a deep cleaning based on the x-rays. During my 2nd visit on Sept. 15, 2022, a different dentist (I didn't hear her say her name) examined my gums and took measurements. She explained that I should be listening for 1's-2's-or 3's. She never went higher than 3 during her exam, and informed me that I needed regular cleanings every 6 months. With that being said, they didn't perform a regular cleaning at that time. My guess is that I didn't need a cleaning despite the last one, which was a deep cleaning, was done June 2021.

First time at this clinic. Had a very good experience with Dr. Olivia Tsang. She was very professional, thorough and patient. She showed and explained to me my tooth ailment and the proper course of action for the treatment. I will definitely be back for more work as needed.

Overall my experience was ok but It seems that they switched doctors on me. I was suppose to see Dr. Adrian Lee but instead saw Dr. Tsang. I also had to wait several minutes before being seen even though I got there early, I was the last one to be taken to the back. On the positive note, the dental assistant was thorough about the pricing and they did offer a payment plan for those paying out of pocket. In addition, I felt that Dr. Tsang was a little pushy with me regarding paying for dental work I wasn’t ready to pay for. In conclusion, I believe that I had a decent experience but don’t think I’ll be returning for my own personal reasons.

This place changed my life. I have had wonderful experiences interacting with everyone that works here throughout my dental care. From the front desk to my dentist, they are all awesome people. They are kind, nice, thorough, and very caring. I could not think of a negative thing to say if you paid me. I have a long, long history with dentists and I was outsourced to this business from the VA. I was beyond nervous on how it would work out because I had dug myself into a hell of a hole when it comes to teeth. I could not be happier and it is now the smile I have dreamed of my whole life! Thank you everyone at Deer Springs. Don't go anywhere else:)

Dr Lee and Hien are a great pair and very entertaining. Dr Long Made the root canal process painless, and he is definitely an expert in his field. Best dental facility ever
