I’ve had several situations requiring more than the average dental repair. Dr. James Courey of Specialized Dentistry of NJ in Manalapan, NJ is the supremely skilled and knowledgeable Dentist/Prosthodontist that met the challenges and exceeded my hopes for positive outcomes. Not only is he a skilled and caring physician, he truly is an artist that can think outside the box. Bottom line….I smile so much more! Thank you Dr. Courey and your wonderful staff!

I have been seeing Dr. Courey. For several years now. The doctor as well as the staff are amazing. He has taken care of my dental needs to my complete satisfaction. Dawn, Lois and the entire staff go over and above to communicate clearly politely and professionally. I could not recommend them more.

Dr. James Courey and the team at Specialized Dentistry of New Jersey are the best of the best. They genuinely care about their patients, and it shows. After enduring a string of less than adequate dentists, I realized I needed to find a top shelf, world class prosthodontist like Dr. C. to help me restore my smile, and my confidence. We began our journey together in the Spring of 2021 and now, 35 visits and 18 months later, I feel so blessed and grateful I found this remarkable man and his incredible staff. His unflappable attention to detail and comforting demeanor made going to Manalapan pleasurable and memorable. You may have to travel further than you would like to enjoy his incredible expertise, but it's worth the trip!

I had a full mouth dental implants. For what it was it was an excellent experience ,the staff was great always concerned about my comfort. Dr Courey was great. When I first went to Dr Courey I had terrible fear of what was going to happen. Instead Dr Courey and his staff were just wonderful made me feel at easy with the process. He explained what was going to happen, giving me options and suggesting. He and his staff makes you feel like your the only patient they have. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a dentist for any reason. If I could have I would haven giving them 10 stars.

Over the years, my mouth is full of the results of their dental care. I am not willing to leave this relationship for a more convenient situation. They are over the top - the best….

The worst dental work ever had, He did some feelings for me that are rough, He left open spaces in my tooth between the filling and the tooth. I will never go back there, I need to have all the work redone

On vacation last week my 6 unit bridge fell out into the ocean! I found Dr Courey on Google. If you are going through a bad time the best you can hope for sometimes is to just be surrounded by great and caring people. Well..... I hit the jackpot. From the first photo call speaking with dawnwho was so kind and accommodating. Walking in for the first time the staff acted like they knew me personally. Offered coffee or water. Christina spent time with me going over my dental and medical history. She took moment's to get to know me personally and was so professional and friendly. Meeting Dr Courey for tthe first time was an honor He exudes layers of kindness, perfectionism, and went out of his way to accommodate me . He did not want me to go into Thanksgiving with no teeth in the front so he squeezed me into the busy schedule after he brilliantly came up with a short term plan for me to have teeth. Chrissy scheduled me in with compassion and smiles. Dr Courey brought a couple of his "right hand" people in to meet me so they would know what the plan was His office is literally a well oiled machine that functions so cohesively. Karen and Shannon' took great care of me on my second visit. Shannon was cool. Calm and collected while preparing the impressions and worked with great skill while conversing and exuded compassion. I have had dental anxiety my whole adult life and they made me feel like family. I never felt judged for poor dental health

Although my mom lives in Queens, I will continue to pick her up there and drive her here to see Dr. Courey for her cleanings and denture check-ups and maintenance. Dr. Courey, Cristina and everyone at the office is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. My elderly mom's issues were taken care of with the utmost care. The process, materials and costs were discussed thoroughly as the work progressed. My questions were answered and instructions were given clearly.

Dr. Diaz and Cristina were amazing! They were informative, warm, and extremely helpful. I was always insecure with my smile and now I cannot wait to show it off. Thank you both so much! I highly recommend coming here for any dentistry needs!

Went to see Dr Diaz today for some pain in my jaw. Not only the office staff accommodated me in a few hours notice they impressed me with their professionalism and behavior. Dr Diaz did an excellent job explaining everything. Very impressed with him. I had visited them back in 2017 and had seen Dr Courey that time. He was extremely good too. Recommend their office for all your dental needs.

Whatever I say, I can never say enough about this office. They are accommodating, professional and miracle workers! I had a very gummy smile and felt very conscious about it right before my wedding. I called Specialized Dentistry of NJ and after my consultation they fit me right into their schedule to make sure I had the smile I dreamed of. Dr. Corey did a gingivectomy and was so kind and gentle throughout the procedure. My gums healed within a week! I now have an amazing smile and feel more confident and beautiful than I ever did before. Thank you to the team and Dr. Corey for making my dream smile come true!!!

My situation was dire, and I was abused as a child by my first dentist. Growing up I had to (out of absolute necessity) to visit other dentists and I felt berated and looked upon in disgust by other dentists and staff throughout my 20s and 30s. Fast forward to age of 41, and my bottom bridge fell off and was held in place by gravity. I couldn’t talk, eat, nor enter any public space without wearing a mask. I entered the office and I was welcomed without judgment and dignity. They assured me that this is the last stop for patients with dental problems like mine. And proceeded to make me feel confident. I had to visit my in laws for the first time ever in Across the country and my lower bridge fell out 3 weeks prior and was held in only by gravity. If i said the wrong vowel, ate food, went to sleep my 5 tooth bridge would fall out. Dr. Diaz, Shannon, and Chrissy made me feel like Royalty. There would be little distinction between my treatment and the President of the united states. They fixed my problem within two weeks and more importantly feel confident with a perfect smile. I cannot thank them enough and receive my highest praise. New comers please feel at ease coming here. They treat people how they expect to be treated which is rare now-a-days. Gregg

Visited for Zoom teeth whitening. Had such a wonderful experience with Adrianna - she was so sweet and very thorough. It was such a relaxing treatment and my teeth came out sparkling white! I was even able to get trays made to be able to do teeth whitening touch ups at home once needed. Highly recommend.

Great and talented Dr.COUREY! Doesn’t let me leave my chair until the work in my teeth are perfect! Pleased w/all his assistance Christina and Karen are all hard Working and kind to the patient!
