Dr. Zafarano and her staff are outstanding. Making appointments is easy, the wait times to be seen by Dr. Zafarano are short and the dental care she provides are fantastic! I wish I gone to her practice sooner.

Dr. Zafarano and her staff are AMAZING. They are all so kind, warm and welcoming. I was looking for a new dentist, and like many people, going to the dentist is not my favorite thing to do. I was referred to her office by a friend, and I could not be more satisfied. I could not have a better Dentist than Dr. Zafarano, she made sure I was comfortable and felt no pain during dental work. I can honestly say I no longer dread going to the dentist, I’d recommend her, 11/10!

I've been to lots of dentists, some good-some bad. Dr. Zafarano is the best dentist I've been to. She fixed some problems others could not. She has the magic touch when it comes to minimizing pain while conducting procedures. I never leave reviews, but this dentist's work deserves a great review

Dr. Virginia Zafarano is great! I don't know about you, but one important thing besides competency that I look for is gentleness. After having two teeth worked on by Dr. Zafarano, including preparation for a temporary crown, I'm NOT sore! Even her "numbing" shot was gentle and did NOT hurt! I'm NOT sore, at all! (That's very appreciated, BTW!) She's been my dentist for over five years, and I'm very happy with her!

What a wonderful experience.On the shortest notice possible Luda got me right in to see the dentist to fix my partial as I was riding my bicycle across the country and needed it fixed.Very caring to all my needs this Dentist is by far a level up from others dentists.I left and went to Whole Foods to get a good meal because I was unable to eat with no partial.Thank you so much Dr. Z. You are the best.

Of my 37 years of going to different dentists across the United States, Desert Heights Family Dentistry offers the most of what I want from a dentist. They are honest, and do a good job. Unlike big corporate dental offices, you get a warm neighborhood feeling, and get your teeth worked on by the owner of the company. It is a very personal experience, where you develop a relationship directly with your neighborhood dentist. I would highly recommend Desert Heights Dentistry to anybody in Albuquerque looking for honest and professional dental needs.

Dr Zafarano is the best. My family loves the Doctor. The office has always been accommoda as far as scheduling. I highly recommend this office.

Dr. Zafarano is very professional and gentle. I just had a filling replaced and the procedure was total painless. It's easy to make a quick appointment and the staff is also quite friendly as well. I highly recommend this office.

Receptionist was extremely rude, poor service

made an appointment at 1, no one even came out to the front desk until 1:30. Was charged for an X-ray that never took place. Every 6 month check up the doctor is not there to do the examination.

I will not return to this provider. She was very, very aggressive with my 4 year old when filling his cavity. When he complained of pain she yelled at him and told him there was no pain. She also kept snapping at her assistant during the procedure. She tried to convince me that he had a previous filling in the tooth when I have been to every appt in the same room with a previous dentist and she said maybe they slipped it in when I wasn't looking?! He developed an abcess after her work and she was unavailable to prescribe him an antibiotic as nobody answered the clinic phone and no one was on call for emergencies. Her receptionist finally called me back with regrets that she was out of town- unacceptable.

My family has been very happy with Desert Heights Family Dentisty. They offer great service & are accommodating when it comes to scheduling. We enjoy that it's a smaller facility and we trust the staff. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love this dentist office! I have been going to them for the past three years and could not be happier with their service. I'm always greeted with a smile and all the workers are so friendly and pay attention to detail. I trust them to take good care of my teeth & have been very pleased each & every time I go.

Dr. Zafarano has been my dentist for over 10 years. She is the most accommodating and professional dentist I've found. She has always taken excellent care of my teeth. I highly recommend Desert Heights Family Dentistry and Dr. Zafarano. And by the way, I drive 100 miles one way to go to the dentist! Dr. Zafarano is very good!

Very pleasant dental office, the staff and dentist are caring and attentive to patients needs. Highly recommend this dental office.

She is dishonest, unskilled, unprofessional, and will file insurance claims for work she never did, and she will manipulate you to agree to extra dental work after she has injected you with novacaine. Futhermore, she will have the audacity to tell you that it is much easeir for her to work on that second or third tooth, eventhough it was never previously discussed. She will socket it to you and your checkbook by making you pay outrages fees. I have never met anyone so disgusting and conniving. If you ask for an itemized statement or question her outrages fees, she will threathen to remove your new cowns. She continues to commit fraud and expect you to look the other way. Stay away from her.

In the last 4 out of 5 appointments a member of our family has had there, when we showed either the dentist or the dental hygienist was running late or had to cancel due to a “family emergency”. With the latest incident we showed up and they said the hygienist was running late so we would have to come back later. They said they left us a voice message letting us know, which we later discovered they did but they left the message 12 minutes before the start of the appointment, which we obviously didn’t get because we were trying to get two children ready for school. They had the nerve to say that its no big deal because you can just come back later today and that they left us a voice message notifying us, so it’s our fault not theirs. My wife and I are both professionals with two young children, in what universe do they think it would be easy for us to come back later and it what universe is notifying parents 12 minutes before an appointment, who are trying to get a 4 year old and a 1 year old ready for school, a sufficient amount of time to notify them? If you value your time, DO NOT make an appointment here. If you don't care about wasting your time, then go ahead since they do do a decent job with dental work and cleanings.

Had to choose a new dentist after 20 years with another dentist. I'm sure glad I chose this place. Excellent service from the staff and Dr. Lysonski!
