NM Community Dental & Med Spa

I received my partial on a Friday afternoon. By Saturday I developed excruciating pain from the partial. I was told to just come in to adjust it if there was an issue when I received it. On Monday I called to get in around lunchtime to adjust it. I was told this morning that they couldn’t get me in for a week.This is not what they led me to believe. A 5 minute adjustment for a partial they got paid in full for is out of the question. Instead I need to be in pain or not wear the partial. Shame on you NM Community Dental. One for not being clear and concise. Two for treating your customers like 2nd class citizens after they have paid you in full and not completing any fitment follow ups.

I called for a same day extraction and made it very clear I was in severe pain and when I was on the phone it was a yes well when I got there the females in the front were rude and when I got to the back it was worse the dentist came in looked at my tooth and never came back in the secretary then came in showed me a paper that I needed to sign with the treatment plan and then tells me I need to schedule the extraction after I made it clear that I needed it done today and they said yes on the phone but when I got there their plans changed they were very rude and unprofessional I will never go back there

I did not like it for the reason I had to pay an existing payment in order to get a broken tooth off my denture which was a different account plus which I was told over the phone the cost was going to be 120 dollars I went for the visit they told me 193 dollars

The give your quick attention and an accurate description of your dental needs. It also is very affordable.

The clinic is the best place they always check for your insurance check to see if you have a copay and yhey call you about 10mim after that and the lady has gloves on she makes sure you have the plastic glass and the equipment she use is clean when i come i always have Cookies for them cause the do hood and frendly also they can keep doing what they do and yhey always txt me anout my appointment as a reminder thank for the eork they do

Community NM Community Dental is a great place for your dentist, Dr Lantz plus his staff are awesome. I'm satisfied with everything they have done for me I recommend coming here I think you'll be pleased, Dr Lantz actually listens to what you have to say. They have just opened up a spa, has quite a few things you can do there I think I'm going to check that out also.

This place is a bait & switch scam. I came in for an exam because I was having a toothache on a tooth that already has a crown. I didn't go to my usual dentist who did the crown because I'm currently unemployed and uninsured so thought I would qualify for their low income program. I somehow didn't qualify for the program despite having essentially NO income, and they told me they can't tell what is going on underneath the crown and recommended redoing the crown as well as filling three other cavities which was going to cost over $1600. They offered for me to apply for their CREDIT CARD to cover the cost, which I thought was extremely predatory. The diagnosis didn't sit right with me so I ended up going to my normal dentist. He was able to confirm there was no cavity under the crown with x rays and didn't see any other cavities. Told me the tooth pain was likely due to stress clenching at night. I started wearing a guard at night and took some other recommended steps and the pain cleared up. Really glad I got a second opinion and avoided getting swindled by NM Community Dental.

Had to leave in middle of appointment because both the hygienist and the dentist were visibly sick. Coughing sniffling and just all round looking like they should not be sticking anything in my mouth.

Poor Communication Didn't call patient's to let them know Office was going be closed. Voicemail not updated to aware patient's office was closed. Especially having to take time off work drive to the office and just find the gates closed and locked with a note saying closed due to weather. The Weather was just Cold & Windy I'm not understanding because I was still getting text messages reminding me of my appointment stating see you soon..! This is not the 1st time my appointment was cancelled without being notified. Maybe it's time to find a New Dentist

Had a appointment today got off work got to my appointment and all was locked. No call NO text nothing and this is NOT the first but the 2nd time this has happened

Staff very nice and humored my nervous habit of joking when scared lol.
