Dr. Norby and his staff have given me a smile that I longed for. There is so much that I want to say about the everyone involved in getting my partials made up and fit in properly. If anyone is looking for a dental provider I would highly recommend Norby Dental hands down. Just a nice down to earth staff. Thank you all.

If you want a dentist who is hands on and cares about his patients do not come here. It is impossible to see Dr. Norby because he is never in the office. The receptionist told me he is busy consulting at his other practice. I have a major problem with work done there and can't get it fixed. He never checked the work because he wasn't in the office. I have been in his office 5 times since October and no Dr. Norby. I finally went to someone else who is incredible and has me happy.

This office was one of the few who at the time took Medicaid for dentures. I had initially received a horrible pair of dentures that were poor fitting, and were never repaired enough to wear from a chain dental clinic, who did a horrible job making my initial dentures. Initially I felt very confident in this office, but from the time you check in and they take your insurance, the entire mood changed as soon as they knew I had Medicaid. I felt very rushed, and the impression the tech took was not acceptable, so Dr Norby came in to do it all over again. I introduced myself, and he said nothing, just held the tray in place in my mouth. I was told to come back two weeks later for the final . I returned, had the temp fitted, and was told to come back two weeks later for the final dentures. Initially they fit very well, but had an area that had to be filed down as it was cutting my gums. The bottom denture was very thin, and throughout the next year & a half broke a total of 4 times, and the 4th time, they refused to repair them. When the bottom broke the last time while I was eating, the two front teeth of the top denture broke off and they tried to charge me $300 to fix them. I called my insurance, as they refused to take any Medicare or Medicaid, even though they had accepted it for the original dentures. I am a critical care nurse, but lost everything due to a missed diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, so Medicaid was my only option. It was very obvious as I was certainly treated differently due to my insurance, and lost complete trust with them trying to make me pay for a covered repair. If you are Medicare, or Medicaid, KEEP GOING elsewhere as they refuse to take it anymore. They say they are there to help everyone, but obviously anyone that has commercial insurance. It was humiliating, and I would never recommend them to anyone. Keep looking for someone with some compassion & not just dollar signs in their eyes.

At this office it seems that Dr. Norby only hires young, uneducated individuals, who are extremely rude and unprofessional. Almost as if dealing with somebody off of the streets. We had an entire plan created and he backed out at the last minute I lost a lot of money behind this doctor. Best advice is to stay away from this office.

This is an amazing place. They had to deal with other dentists mistakes and still provide quality service. The staff is ultra polite and genuinely kind. This office will treat patients with respect and dignity.

Norby Dental was beyond words can express. Being someone who is Deaf and insecure with my smile. They made sure everything was accessible, my needs were met and my smile was perfect. From the beginning to the end. Dr.Norby is the Doctor to see!

Called to make an appointment and was getting the run around, all the girl kept saying was um, hold on um, and did not know how to talk to people. Made me not even schedule a appointment.

Worst front desk experience!

Absolute troglodyte answering the phone. She could not get beyond all of the "ums" to convey an actual idea. If this person is a reflection of their overall staff, I'd stay away from this place as far as possible.

I’d like to first say the atmosphere is everything. Friendly faces at the front desk are eager to help you and want you to feel comfortable being there. I’ve had the experience and honor of having Dr. Norby take care of my implants that were placed by the VA hospital in Milwaukee Wisconsin and Dr. Norby even called the doctor in Wisconsin and talk to him about my case before he even proceeded. And now I’ve had the pleasure of going and seeing Dr. Norby again and now he will be my regular prosthodontist. Today when I saw him he took care of everything with such care and even the slightest feeling of feeling anxious his assistant Valarie help my hand for a brief moment to let me know it was going to be OK and Dr. Norby made sure my whole experience was pain-free. I would like to highly recommend if you need dental services with implants and care of your dental needs you should really go see Dr. Norby because he is a kind and devoted person.. And thank you to Valarie and all the staff there for making me feel like I was getting the best care I could possibly get and I did.

Dr. Norby and his staff display the upmost professionalism, courtesy, and kindness. I have never been to a dentist office where I felt that comfortable. No anxiety walking into the door. As soon as you walk in, you are treated like you are family. I would highly recommend any and all who are seeking dental care to make an appointment with Dr. Norby. I guarantee you’ll never seek another dentist again.

Went to Norby Dental / ABQ Dentures in August 2021 to get a new pair. Staff was professional and courteous BUT THEY DON’T LISTEN and I was VERY disappointed that Dr. Norby spent less than 10 minutes with me throughout the four months long process. For two months at EVERY “adjustment” visit I repeatedly told the staff that the upper and lower teeth weren’t lined up and they finally did fix that. Went back almost every week for three months to get “adjusted” but the dentures continued to be uncomfortable to wear and painful to eat. Finally after three months, on 11/12/21, I told them I didn’t want the dentures and expected a full refund. The office manager refunded the co-pay on my credit card immediately, they really didn’t have a choice, and she said they would send a refund to the insurance company. I expected that refund would be in a timely manner so I could recover my benefits and go to another dentist BEFORE the end of this benefit year. Long story short it is now a month later (12/15/21) but the insurance company HAS NOT RECEIVED A REFUND. I spoke to the office manager at Norby Dental on 11/29/21 and she said “it took two weeks for Dr. Norby to sign the check then they mailed the check and she would do nothing more”. They got paid by the insurance company electronically in nanoseconds on 9/1/21 and have been using their money for almost FOUR months. I suspect that they delayed signing and sending the check on purpose if they actually did send the check. If they had sent the check as they stated it would have arrived in less than a month. When asked for the check number to confirm that they actually issued the check they refused to provide it to me or the insurance company. I believe they delayed the refund to the insurance company so time would run out on me being able to use my dental insurance benefits at another dentist this year. Norby Dental has caused me to lose $1452 in dental insurance benefits that I paid premiums to the insurance company for

Best Dentists!! Went in for a cleaning but had a cap that was causing me issues. I felt they really cared about my concern for it and without hesitation took care of it. Thank you Alicia and Dr. Norby. Alicia RDH was the best!! She is hilarious and gave great details in improving my dental hygiene. She took notice on things that other practitioners missed. Really spent time with me and addressed her concerns by breaking them down for me. I’ve never had this kind of attention and I left with my life improved. Thank you!!!

When I was doing research to have my replacement dentures done, I came across a listing for Albuquerque Dentures and figured if it was in their name, they probably knew what they were doing. By the time I got around to seeing them, the name had changed to Norby Dental because they apparently do a whole lot more than dentures. Anyway, I'm so glad I stuck with them. Every associate I met with through the process was very professional and friendly. They took the time to explain each step in the process and were always sure to ask if I had any questions. They got me in on time for my appointments and didn't leave me waiting in the chair. Of course, the most important thing is the final product. I took delivery of my new chompers yesterday and couldn't be more pleased. The fit was excellent from the first time I put them in and I haven't had any problems with them at all. They seem less bulky than my previous pair and yet they seem to be staying in place much better. Re-adjusting to talking and eating is coming along much faster than I had expected. So very pleased. tldr - Got new dentures here. They're great. I highly recommend them.

I have been to many a Dentist in my 74 years, but Dr Norby is by far THE most professional Dentist I have been to. Clean ,organized , and NO drill hanging over your head !

My father is so happy, relieved, and actually able to speak and eat normally again. Thank you so much to Dr. Norby and his wonderful staff members - from my dad, and from me too - for taking such good care of him! Here's what my dad said about his experience at Norby Dental: For the 1st time time in 50+ years of inferior dentistry, I've finally found a dentist that is proud of his trade..."AND IT SHOWS" !!! I have teeth that I'm proud of too.

Very rude receptionist. When I called to reschedule my consultation she said I had already rescheduled once (which I hadn’t) and asked if I just wanted to cancel my appointment and call when I actually knew when I wanted to be seen. I said she was being very rude so maybe I should cancel and she said sorry you feel that way and hung up on me. If that’s how they handle a new patient I can only imagine the nightmare of dealing with billing and follow ups appointments.
