I don’t post reviews but this place deserves it. From the front staff to the hygienists and doctors. Everyone makes you feel comfortable for being in such a scary place. even though it was mentioned they we running behind. It didn’t seem like it. Dr. Jensen takes his time with his patients to get to know them and make them comfortable.

Do not have a crown put in at this place. Twice I've had a crown fall out both the temporary and "permanent". I had a crown put in and in 6 months it fell out. I paid hundreds of dollars and because I started traveling out of state for work I could not go back to have it fixed. Asked for at least a small amount of money back but all I got was the run around.

5-Star dentist. Entire staff is friendly and extremely capable. While the primary/dentist may be delayed in getting to you, he/she spends time discussing your teeth and family stuff... so everyone gets their fair share of 'dentist speak'. I don't ever leave reviews but I am highly impressed with this place, not only is it welcoming and you immediately get a good vibe but the care and the staff are awesome. Everyone was kind from check in to check out.I can't remember the receptionists name but i do remember she had beautiful make up that day and was super nice. Dr Jensen and Juanita where so kind and I am a nervous Nelly when it comes to the dentist but they made it comfortable. I had a filling that came loose, broke my 2 front teeth when I was younger, and I called a variety of places and none that would take insurance, I called here and they were able to get me in the following morning. My tooth was fixed that same day. Yall are awesome. Will be making this my permanent place for myself and my family.

Our family of five has been going to Sundance Dental Care since we moved to New Mexico nine years ago. Dr. Nicholas Jensen and the dental techs are amazing, but the front desk staff doesn't represent this practice well at all. In particular, Jo at the front desk is rude, unhelpful, dismissive and nasty - I called her because they mistakenly billed the wrong insurance for my son's care. She argued with me, telling me that they hadn't billed any insurance (despite the fact that we received an EOB in the mail). When I tried to give her my son's insurance policy info, she barked at me in the nastiest tone, stating that unless I know for sure that he has dental coverage (he's a PhD student at UNM), she wouldn't take it. Not even an offer to call the insurance to find out, and she couldn't have been ruder. We are seriously considering moving to another practice that values our patronage solely due to the uncalled for and nasty treatment of the front desk staff there. If I were to rate only on Dr. Jensen and dental techs, they would have 5 stars, but the face of the practice at the front desk leaves much to be desired.

I highly recommend this office, and in particular hygenist Santana. She is experienced and very good. Unfortunately, I found out they don't take my insurance after I had my new patient appointment completed. But I would even consider going back and having Santana do future cleanings.
