The clinic is open from Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and is closed on weekends. The clinic accepts Medicaid and other insurance plans.
While some customers have had positive experiences with the clinic, others have reported negative experiences. Alison and the dental staff are so caring and compassionate. They take their time especially with my daughter with autism. They provide needed services and I have referred several patients who need dental care to them.

Most everyone I encountered was friendly (hence 2 stars instead of 1), however, I had a broken molar in September and was in HORRIBLE pain (like, I’ve given birth unmedicated and I’d rather go through that than deal with this level of tooth pain again). When insurance denied the root canal/crown 4 weeks later in October (because, of course they would, we live in the US🙄), I was told they could not do an extraction until JANUARY! I wasn’t given any pain meds of any kind and was told to take Tylenol and ibuprofen every 6 hrs. I wasn’t about to do that for 3 MONTHS, so I went to Hometown Health in Schenectady last week and on my first visit there, the doctor said he didn’t think a root canal/crown would have been the best option anyway in prolonging the life of the tooth and he pulled that tooth the SAME DAY! Also, I called them and left a message before my hometown health appointment so I could cancel all the future appointments I had with them and have them send over my records. They apparently don’t check their messages because I received nothing but crickets from them until I cancelled through their app and then received a message asking if I wanted to reschedule.
Avoid this place if you can and ESPECIALLY if you’re in pain!!

I would tell everyone to go to this dentist if I can because they did an amazing job on me. I really hope that they can help me again. Wow ❤️💪💯🔥👍 I love this dentist, they are great...
This people not answering in the phone it’s become like McDonald’s on downtown on the neighborhood, someone has to let them know the owner what happened in there

Horrible clinic. I’m surprised St. Peter’s hasn’t shut this place down. Scheduling issues, rude receptionists, X-rays misplaced and dental pa’s that are just thrown into the mix of chaos.
I would not recommend this place.

Terrible patient service. My daughter in law arrived from Russia & had full Medicaid dental coverage. She developed an abscessed tooth. The dentist put her on antibiotics & told to stay on them 4 -6 weeks till insurance company responded. As a RN I knew the care was sub standard. We changed practices & the dentist determined there was no abscess, no need for antibiotics; only an oral rinse. Within 2 days she fully recovered. We were charged for the dentist to look in her mouth. I was shocked by the terrible medical/dental care and customer service. Avoid this practice did possible.

Horrible experience dealing with them. Very rude front desk representative. They don’t deserve a one star.

They called and canceled my appointment and rescheduled for over 5 months after this. She was very rude when I explained there was an issue and needed to be seen. She responded that's the soonest, we could male it later.

I rarely give reviews but I feel morally obligated. This place is income based which is why many people come here, noticeably, and sadly, our most vulnerable groups in society, the elderly. I took a family member to this clinic. He needed to have a tooth pulled. Instead of pulling it, they told him they could save it and they would do a root canal. They numbed him, started drilling, then told him they didn’t have time to finish, gave him a temp filling and sent him home with an appointment card for a follow up. A few weeks later, we went back, they drilled, told him they ran out of time and to come back in two weeks. We came back in two weeks and…again! Drilling and ran short on time, come back. Covid happened, everything shut down and he now had a gaping hole in his tooth. One year later, he called for an appointment which was going to be 6 months away. I called telling them they destroyed an already bad tooth and now he’s in pain. They made an appointment for the following week. We went to Albany AGAIN! They looked at him for five min and told him that his tooth can’t be saved and he needs to go see an oral surgeon because they’re not qualified to pull his tooth. So finally we went to a real dentist, paid the cash to have it pulled. You have been warned. Borrow money if you have to in order to see an actual Dr, and please stay away. Especially if you’re making an appointment for someone you love.

I am so impressed with this dental clinic from the office staff to the providers. They have been professional, kind and pleasant to deal with. The staff educate, address your needs and provide excellent care. It's a very busy place and the office women are always helpful and patient.

The doctors are INCREDIBLE. I had a horrible shattered tooth, and they were incredibly kind and considerate- even when it was very difficult to actually do the dental work due to how much pain I was in. Even without my asking, the doctors ensured I had multiple options for treatment that were cost conscious (I am on medicaid). The receptions are also incredibly kind and considerate as well- even while dealing with so much that is thrown their way. Yes, it unfortunately does take a long time to get an appointment, but that is the reality of the horrific healthcare system we have in this country. I am just thankful to have incredible providers caring for those of us in financial precarity. Highly recommend St Peters dental.

Friendly doctors. I have a good experiences when I come in for cleanings and fillings BUT I was on the oral surgeon wait list over 8 months - I would call to make sure I was still on the list occasionally and they’d say yes. Now It’s been over a year and I’ve come in for an appointment to find out I’d been kicked of the list for who knows how long .. and apparently it was because they had an “bad phone number” which I believe was a mistake made by their new system. I played as if it was my fault like an idiot tho. Now we’ll see how long it takes to get my dead tooth extracted. I wouldn’t suggest this place for oral surgery, if you’re committed to getting work done quickly. They also constantly cancel appointments and don’t let you know.

You can't even get someone on the phone. I waited for a total of 20 min and called them back and they make an excuse of saying "no you did not because that is not what the phone said". Better off trying elsewhere and save your time.

I will have to say that it is very hard to get a appt and or call back.. but when you do get in I find the the Dentist are very genuine and care about your oral health. I saw Dr. Adams several times at the practice. He was honest and straight forward. Has great bedside manners and always makes sure that you are comfortable. He personally called me back on a Sunday and stated to call the office on Monday to come in for a appt. when I called the staff did answer and stated that he had no openings... but they did take a message and gave it to the Doctor.
Dr.Adams called back within a hour and a half and made a appt. for that day. Which was a relief..he definitely goes above and beyond. When I arrived at the office he was running behind but came out to the waiting room to let me know he was finishing up with a patient and will be with me in a couple minutes. Him and his assistant work well together and are funny!!
His assistant also is very personable and knows what she is doing! She makes you feel comfortable and is thorough when explaining aftercare instructions.

My boyfriend made an appointment for a cleaning and exam, he hadn’t been to a dentist in 5+ years. He was very nervous about the quality of his teeth and felt as though they might shame him for not taking care of them better. The dental staff were SO kind to him. They complimented his teeth and reassured him that they were not as bad as he thought, even though he did have some teeth decay. He expected it to be much worse. They booked him for fillings for 2 weeks later. He was so happy with how they treated him.

Customer service is the absolute WORST they would answer then hang up twice then if you were to call back again they will put you straight to voicemail i had one lady talk down to me ignorant explaining my situation nasty attitude of explaining things to me and they especially dont care if you have younger kids for an excuse 2 warnings they can no longer provide services to you.
My experience was rather good. I'm always happy when I get to see Brian. He's either a dental assistant or the dentist, very professional. I will say he's amazing. He's got the most beautiful smile. He just makes me feel good and right when I'm sitting laid back in that chair as he does his job in my mouth. I'm always nervous at first and he knows just how to calm me properly. He makes sure that everything is all clean afterwards. He gives me excellent instructions during and afterwards for at home remedies. He's the reason I go there. He's the remedy to that practice in my opinion.

This place is completely unprofessional and the majority of the time i called i talked to several receptionist who were very rude and unkind until i stood my ground. If you don’t like assisting people than maybe you need to think about entering another field. When COVID came about they canceled a scheduled appointment and never sent any papers in the mail forwarding any info i could utilize to schedule a new appointment. So that went in my files as a no call no show. I’ve been with St. Peter’s for about 5 years and missed about 5 appointments over those 5 years but I’ve always rescheduled. Once again i received no reminders in the mail to give a 24HR advance notice if you need to cancel a appointment / reschedule. One of the rude receptionist told me it was in my medical records i have no records given to me by this establishment stating such a thing. The only time i remember them sending that kind of information out with me is when i first became a patient & the only reason i remembered that is because i refreshed my mind of all the paperwork i had to fill out the day i became a patient 5 years ago. I’m big on communication and organization and professional which this establishment truly hasn’t upheld. I scheduled a new appointment recently and called two days in advance to confirm the time and date. Nobody ever got back to me even when i called early in the morning and after their lunch. I feel like my call was intentionally ignored. I was recently dropped as a patient after nobody ever got back to me regarding my appointment. That is okay because i took the liberty in finding a new dental establishment after i had several bad experiences talking to these receptionist. They are way more professional and organized and don’t mind assisting their patients and getting back to them ON TIME. This isn’t in any way to bash them but honestly maybe it was better i didn’t go in to the for their assistance. Who knows what other problems i could’ve experienced. Smh
