Manhattan Oasis Dentistry

I have been coming to see Dr. Wolf for a few years now and his kindness and professionalism never cease to amaze me. I am a very nervous patient and before finding Manhattan Oasis Dentistry, I dreaded going to the dentist even for routine cleanings. Everyone at Manhattan Oasis is extremely talented and caring from the moment you walk through the door. The front desk staff, the hygienists, everyone on their team makes patient comfort their priority. They are all knowledgeable in their field and take the time to answer any questions or concerns you may have. I highly recommend Dr. Wolf and Manhattan Oasis as a whole. They are truly the best at what they do.

My wife has been going to Dr Richter for well over 20 years and always spoke very highly of him and his staff. But, it wasn’t until I recently needed dental work, that was beyond the expertise of my current dentist, that I experienced it for myself. After receiving a warm welcome from his staff at the front desk, I was escorted to a treatment room where I met with Dr Richter. He explained the need for his staff to perform a number of diagnostic tests in order for he and I to better understand what my dental needs were. His assistants were not only knowledgable, but were kind enough to answer my questions about these tests. Subsequently, Dr Richter and I met, where he clearly explained what he felt would be my best path forward. When he was finished, I fully understood and agreed with his diagnosis. More importantly, I felt very confident that I am in good hands.

Dr. Wolf is absolutely the best dentist I’ve ever been to. He mapped out a treatment plan for a complicated set of issues and explained them all clearly. He offered alternatives and supported my decisions. Highly recommended.

Dr. Richter is the best of the best. His knowledge and capabilities are unmatched. Before seeing Dr. Richter for my gum problem, I consulted with 4 dentists, a periodontist, and an oral pathologist. None of them were able to help me. After weeks of pain and stress, I went to Dr. Richter. Dr. Richter took one brief look and knew what it was instantly. He put me on a treatment regimen one week ago, and the problem is now gone.

I love Dr. Ian Wolf, he explains everything in detail and answers all my questions, even my hypothetical ones, which one may not believe it, but those are very important as well. I certainly don’t feel rush when I am there and I have always been seen within 10 minutes of my scheduled time, (this is very important to me). Honestly, I found this office and I don’t think I will go to any other place.

Completely an unprofessional practice. I’ve waited for my Invisalign appointment multiple times all which were canceled with out permission. I’ve asked off of work for these appointments and they have wasted my time. I’ve spent thousands of dollars here which have all gone to nothing. How does it take a year to get Invisalign? It doesn’t make sense. The doctor had told me it’d take a few weeks they called me 9 MONTHS later…. Makes no sense to me. Not only this the receptionist is completely disrespectful. I’ve asked for my medical records for a year! They’ve tried to patch their mistakes. All which were not helpful. I’m never coming back.

I am a dentist and this is the practice I go to for my dentistry. Dr. Ian Wolf and Dr. Jonathan Richter are two of the most talented, kind, and intelligent dentists in New York. The staff is excellent as well. This is an office of good, kind, people who deliver the highest quality care.

I have been going to Dr Richter office for roughly a year. I went in without a referral for some gum issues I was having and wanted an opinion on that after the dental hygienist at my old dentist suggested I visit a Periodontist because of the amount of bone loss I was having at my age ( 30 ) . Some X-rays were taken and we had a small talk on what could of caused this issue and spoke on steps to resolve the issue. He let me know it would be a process that would take time and may be one which would be on the costly side. But with some time and (hammering) at the problem we should be able to control the issue and hopefully see my bone/gum start to improve a bit. After a year or so of some very aggressive cleaning and monitoring the issue seems to be under control and my problem tooth (2 of them ) not only look better but feel better and sturdier. Pretty pleased with the process and I HIGHLY suggest visiting their office.

After recently completing my Invisalign treatment plan, all I can say is I loved the experience at Manhattan Oasis -- primarily thanks to Dr. Han and Sabrina! Dr. Han was extremely personable, has a fantastic bedside manner, was always willing to explain procedures, and is a clear expert in her field. Admittedly, I've never loved visiting the dentist but both Dr. Han and Sabrina made things comfortable, were accommodating to my schedule, and always made themselves available for questions and concerns. By the time Dr. Han finished my treatment plan, I left the office with a confident smile, a much better care routine, and no longer dread my dental visits. If you're on the fence about Invisalign, definitely speak to Dr. Han - she's great! Sadly, I recently moved out of the area so I won't be able to visit MO Dentistry as often, but I love knowing that I always have a fantastic dentist office whenever I'm in NYC! 10/10, I absolutely recommend!

I feel lucky that a friend recommended Dr. Richter of Manhattan Oasis Dentistry and I, in turn, cannot recommend this dental practice highly enough. They have several dentists and, for my issue, Dr. Ian Wolf provided incredibly skilled care and spent the time necessary to save a damaged tooth. Thank you, Dr. Wolf!! Also, he was very gentle (which is important to me, as a person who is nervous at the dentist's office), and his assistant, Sharon, was kind and professional. The office is spotless and pleasant and the staff is very nice. I feel I received top-quality dental care.

Gabriel is the BEST Dental Hygenist. He’s above and beyond. Professional, caring, super nice and does the best cleanings while being careful of your comfort.

I've been going to Oasis Dentistry for about 4-5 years now and they have always been wonderful - really changed my feeling about going to the dentist altogether! The hygienists are amazing and the Dentist are top notch! My teeth are probably in the best shape of my life at this point thanks to them! I wanted to specifically review them because I've been to the dentist twice during Covid and the environment was very safe and reassuring and staff have been amazing - I saw no decline in service whatsoever - and during a time of so much angst they were a bright spot through it all...how many people can say that about their dentist! Please check them out, you won't be disappointed!

Today was my first visit at this location and by far the best experience. Everyone starting from the receptionist Linda, the dental hygienist Gabriel to the dentist Dr. Wolf were all exemplary, very friendly, well educated and informative. I trust the work they do!

This was the best dental practice I've ever been to. They are well run, efficient and friendly. From reception, to the hygienist, to Dr. Richter, everyone was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I had no wait and received the best dental care. I never had such an efficient cleaning! My kids also received the star treatment. They took every precaution they could for covid while still making everyone exceptionally comfortable. I'm thrilled to have found this place.

I visited Manhattan Oasis Dentistry today (10/30/2020) for a Zoom whitening appointment. Stephanie was able to administer everything perfectly and it was a true pleasure to be her patient. All 3 rounds went swimming and it was a great experience! I'd highly recommend Manhattan Oasis Dentistry to anyone looking for a new dental provider in NYC.

i had an emergency over the weekend and my face blew up . Dr. Richter called me and prescribed antibiotics immediately, checked my records online and i needed an extraction and possible root canal in another tooth. Two teeth were involved. I was panicked as i am very afraid of going to the dentist. I just returned from seeing him and the extraction which he did while i was waiting for him to do it.! He is really fantastic and made me feel so comfortable. I always use gas but this time, I didn't need any and it was like "no big deal" I can;t believe it.. he is so knowledgable, charming, funny, warm and great.. i love him !

The staff at Manhattan Oasis Dentistry is professional and attentive. During this Covid-19 time, they are taking every precaution to make you feel safe. The office is immaculate. Dr. Richter is extremely knowledgeable and thorough and delivers the highest level of care. He took the time to answer all questions/concerns. His kind and confident approach put me at ease and took away any apprehension. Thank you Dr. Richter and staff for providing safe and excellent healthcare!
