Can’t thank Dr. Arkaidy enough! Called Sunday morning and went in that same afternoon for an emergency root canal. The procedure was painless, handled extremely professionally and my concerns were addressed with patience. Everyone was very kind and helpful, and I left feeling relieved to have found this office!

Was extremely optimistic about this practice given the stellar 5 star reviews however I was disappointed by my overall experience. While the dentist is friendly and clearly good at his job there were some communication issues. I was in pain and needed 2 wisdom teeth extracted. On the way there they called at around midday to say they could no longer do the extractions and could only offer a free x ray. The reason I chose this practice was because their opening hours stated they'd be open til 3pm instead of 1pm. I understand dentists have lives outside of the practice but that felt like wasted time as I took the day off work specifically for this and they initially agreed to do the extraction until I was already on my way there. I was quoted $650 per tooth out of pocket and when I asked if it would be possible to do a payment plan (because I also eventually need a root canal and invisalign) he said I would have to open a line of credit and already have good credit to be approved. This felt unusual as every other dentist I've been to trusts that their patient will pay according to the agreed plan. Be aware of this if you're getting a lot of work done at this practice because to me it just felt like unnecessarily complicating things. I was told he could remove both teeth the following Tuesday but I would need to pay in full before he would remove them. Again, his practice his policy, just be aware they don't do payment plans. He did very kindly take the time to write an absence from work letter for my employer which I appreciated. I then followed up by email and received no response and have since had my dental work completed by DiMaggio Dental for a fraction of the price.

I had a wonderful experience. The staff was extremely nice and walked me through every step of what I was there for. Honestly have to say my best experience with a dentist ever. And I was very, very pleased with the work done on my teeth. Definitely my regular dentist going forward.

I hate dentist (No offense). Always had a phobia of them and have never been the ideal patient. That changed when I visited Astoria City Dental. The whole staff is so kind and patient. I was immediately put at ease. The are gentle while working and talk you through the process, which is so calming. After my initial extensive dental work, I looked forward to my check ups because I no longer had that fear in me. Thanks to all, especially Angie. She is the best!

I needed an emergency root canal done today and I am so thankful I found Astoria City Dental. Dr. Mordukhayev was incredibly helpful, fast acting and took great care in the procedure at-hand. I will be returning for all of my future dental care.

Astoria City Dental was by far the best experience I’ve had at a dental practice. I am so thankful to have them close by to where I live. From the helpful and friendly staff at the front desk, a kind and knowledgeable dentist, and by far the best and zero pain cleaning I’ve ever had (Thank you Angie!). This is absolutely my new dentist from Now on, and their weekend hours/ being open on Sundays is such a huge help for those of us who work during the week!

They took my appointment same day and I had almost no wait time. I went in for a deep cleaning. The dentist that helped me was very kind and worked very quickly. The receptionist was really nice too. The dentist talked me through some treatment options for my particular situation after. I paid out of pocket and the cost was a lot better than other dentists in the area. It was amazing service for an affordable price. I’m happy I went.

Dr. Mordukhayev is a true master of his trade. His honesty, patience, care, and high level professionalism is tangible the moment one begins their interaction with him. He’ll never recommend procedures that aren’t necessary and does his best to save every last tooth.
