I had a front tooth that had bonding. On a Saturday morning it broke off leaving a big gap in the front of my mouth. I was frantic to find a dentist Dental Design website had Saturday hours. I called and spoke to Robin who was very kind and understanding. I sent a picture to her and received a call back with a same day appointment. Dr. Handschuh was amazing. Extremely kind and gentle. My tooth looks incredible. He took his time and made sure it matched the color of my other teeth. I left his office smiling and very grateful for his time considering I was an emergency appointment .I will definitely be using him for my primary dentist moving forward.

This was my first visit and I couldn’t be more impressed. I have a complicated mouth and after more than 20 years of going into the city for dentistry I felt it was time to go local. A friend recommended this practice and it exceeded my expectations. Dr Handschuh took a lot of time to be sure I was comfortable. He did a very comprehensive exam and cleaning and explained how he could/would keep my mouth healthy and aesthetically optimal. I left very pleased and feeling like I was in excellent hands.

Dr. Handschuh and his staff are amazing! He always takes his time and makes me feel very relaxed and comfortable. I never have to wait, and every time I go for a check-up/cleaning, I have a very pleasant experience. My parents also have been going to Dr. Handschuh for years and we all think he is the best!

I started a ton of dental work including veneers a few months ago. The entire experience was a 30K nightmare. I initially knew something was wrong when I got a filling but actually needed a root canal. Was sent somewhere else for a root canal (after I paid for an unnecessary filling). The veneers were extremely painful throughout the whole process but that wasn't the worst of the experience. When I finally got the veneers and crowns put in, my whole bite was off. I don't smile normal, I don't eat normal, my teeth slide as I chew etc.... I went back several times complaining about my bite and how uncomfortable it was. I was even told once that "it's in my head" I own two companies and have 18 employees, I literally don't have time for things to be "in my head". I went to two orthodontist and one dentist, who all told me the same thing... the crown was bonded too low. Basically the crown needed to be redone. So after months of complete misery I went back hoping that I would get a new crown. I was appalled that the response I got was to shave down the crown and also shave down my bottom tooth. Basically he wanted to permanently alter my bottom tooth to help HIS mistake!!! Why in the world would I permanently alter a tooth that doesn't have a crown to adjust for a crown that was bonded too low. update 3/15/22 I have been slowly redoing all of my veneers (by a different dentist) and my only regret is I didn't pick the right dentist the first time around. Pick someone who will actually make good on the mistakes he makes not just take your money. My veneers were a messy sloppy job and all of the edges show. It's like throwing money in the garbage. My bite is finally fixed with a new crown. update 1/25/23 I am still dealing with the mess this dentist caused. I just recently had to re do the root canal he did the permanent filling on . Dr. Handschuh is an amazing dentist and human being. At first, I was a little skeptical about choosing a dentist from a google search. But as I entered the office, the staff was extremely courteous, accommodating, and friendly. Then, I met Dr. Handschuh; I had never received such a thorough, comprehensive, and personalized care. Afterward, he sat down to discuss the treatment options. What impressed me the most was to learn he had recommended the best treatment option for me even though it was the least profitable to him. If a dentist appointment can be wonderful, my experience getting two crowns with Dr. Hanschuh was wonderful. Although I was dreading the novacaine and the drilling, neither were a problem. Dr. Hanschuh made sure I was comfortable, understood each step of the process, was responsive to my questions and concerns and followed up to make sure I was comfortable after the initial work was done. If a dental procedure can be described as wonderful, this one was.

Dr. Handschuh and his staff are the best from start to finish! I have been researching and looking for a dentist to perform some cosmetic work for years... and I am truly happy that I found The Dental Design Center! I was able to get an appointment within a day, see the dentist for a consult, and he did the work the same day! His receptionist was transparent from the start with all of the information I needed. Dr. Handschuh's caring and conservative (and HONEST) approach is something that is hard to find in a Dentist! I hope that someone reading this that has been contemplating getting dental work chooses The Dental Design Center with Dr. Handschuh.. you won't be disappointed!

Dr. Handschuh is amazing! After doing extensive research, I brought my daughter to him because of the many five star glowing reviews. I couldn't be happier. Not only did he completely repair her dental issue, he did so at the lowest possible cost to us. He was kind and patient as was the rest of his lovely staff. We are beyond happy and grateful. My daughter has the smile she has always wanted and we are forever fans and will be back with any of our future dental needs. Thank you, thank you a million times thank you Dr. Handschuh!!!

For someone who hates the dentist this is the best possible experience. He makes sure you are comfortable and know exactly what is going on. Constantly checking in to make sure nothing hurts and if you need anything. Also love the music he plays in the office. Overall great experience and will be coming back!

Dr Ira Handschuh is a wonderful dentist that has always provided me and my family the highest level of care and service. We all trust Ira because of his professionalism, experience and his sensible approach. I also like to talk with him about music, hockey, fitness and our families.

I am a relatively new patient of Dr. Handschuh but not new to dental care. What a pleasure to be treated in an office where your treatment gets the full attention from reception when you walk in, the dental assistant and most important Dr. H. This is the most personally attentive and comfortable dental care you could hope. I feel like i found the holy grail of dental grill work!

I cannot recommend Dr. Handschuh enough! He's attentive, warm, and friendly. He answers all your questions and listens to all your concerns. His chair-side manor is also incredible, making sure you're comfortable through any procedure.

Dr Handschuh and his staff were excellent. He took his time to go over every procedure and explained the results with patience. He was thorough in his exam and consistently checked on how I was doing. I highly recommend him and his staff. Everyone was warm and welcoming. Top notch Dentist and excellent service!!

Dr. Handschuh is a one-of-a-kind dentist ... Let me start out by saying I used to hate going to the dentist out of fear! Dr. Handschuh is the first dentist that has not only removed my fear but makes the experience pleasant. He has a very calming personality and a great sense of humor. Dr. Handschuh is amazing in his craft and goes above and beyond. He has opened his office for me on more than one occasion when the office was closed and I had a dental emergency. Both of my boys have been going to Dr. Handschuh since they were 3 years old and he still has their photos of their first visit. I wouldn't dream of going to another dentist and I highly recommend Dr. Handschuh!

Dr. Handschuh and his staff are absolutely amazing. Professional, courteous, and friendly staff made me feel like family. I got porcelain veneers on my four front teeth and was very nervous about the procedure. Dr. Handschuh was very gentle and kind to me. He explained very well what was going on and answered every question I had very thoroughly. I have been to other dentists that exaggerated what my needs were in order to make more money. So it was a relief to find a dentist with integrity. My results were beautiful and very natural which was very important to me. Would highly recommend to anyone!!!

I honestly cannot say enough positive things about my experience with the Dental Design Center and Dr. Handschuh. Beginning with his kind and professional staff, my experience was first-rate, friendly, and professional. The office was immaculate and well appointed, and there is plenty of easily accessible free parking. Once I was in the chair it was immediately clear that I was in exceptionally good hands. While my particular dental issue presented some challenging and unique difficulties, I received an honest, quick, and quality resolution getting me off on my vacation without a worry.
