The staff is very friendly and professional. It was a wonderful experience. As much as it could be considering I was in “the chair” 2 1/2 hours. Thank you and I have had no problems after returning home.

Dr. Ertl and his staff are amazing and very friendly. The front desk, dental assistant, dental hygienist, and Dr. Ertl all greeted me with a smile and made me feel comfortable. I walked in their office a little nervous and they put all of my fears to rest by answering my questions and providing solutions. I wish I could remember the lady’s name that cleaned my teeth because she’s the best hygienist I’ve ever had in my life. Not only was she very gentle and empathetic, she was very excited to clean my teeth and I could tell she loves her job. That made me feel really good, and because she loved it so much, she was thorough with everything she did and she didn’t appear to be rushed. I hope I get her every time. I highly recommend them if anyone is considering.

Broke a tooth and was able to get in the next morning on a Friday.

Dr laurelwood and his staff are absolutely amazing. He is there for the patient and his staff makes you feel comfortable which is important to me because I am terrified of going to the dentist. Not anymore.

After spending 6 hours in the chair two days in a row to get two crowns fitted, I can confidently say that Laurelwood is the best dentist experience in WNC (maybe the state). The staff is knowledgable, friendly and highly collaborative. I've always had very unhealthy teeth (from poor dental hygiene) so the dentist has historically been a place of shame and stress for me. Dr. Ertl, Sabreena, Adyla and the front desk staff have all made me feel well-taken care of and comfortable during my cleanings and procedures and armed me with better dental hygiene practices from which I've already seen positive results over the past year. Thank you to the team!

By far the best dentist experience I have had. Have been to a few different ones since moving to Asheville and first visit here I knew I’d be staying with them, even though my insurance wasn’t accepted. Decided to get their yearly plan instead which was super affordable. The energy is always positive and even with 6 months between cleanings it’s like you walk in and just saw them yesterday, they really show they care and make you feel welcome. And on top of that do an amazing job! 10/10 recommend.

Laurelwood is high class, Top-Knotch. You will experience gentle, friendly, and knowledgeable staff and service. All of the staff go above and beyond for each and every patient! Never been to a better dentist. No need to be nervous! HIGHLY recommend.

I have been with Laurelwood since 2019. I have never been comfortable with the way the front office handles clients. The dental work was fine but I always felt like the front office was trying to gouge me at every opportunity. Last time I was there I was asked if I wanted to prepay my next appointment??? The time before I was told I needed to have a procedure done that was never discussed before. All in all if you are ok with a dentist office trying to rip you off then Laurelwood is for you. If you want to feel like a valued client then look elsewhere.

We always have a great experience here. They are very flexible with appointments and great with kids. My daughter LOVES going to the dentist.

Most thorough dentist I've ever been to. Also the friendliest staff I've ever seen at a dental office. I felt like a part of the family. They should be proud of the way their office is being run and the work they're doing. There's not very much parking, unfortunately.

I absolutely love Dr. Ertl! Me and family are patients. He is always so patient and detailed. I've seen almost all of the hygienist and they are just as wonderful. They are always smiling and informative. Liz at the front desk is always smiling and helpful. The guy at the front seem a little unhappy or just have a dry personality. (I don't recall his name) But overall I love this place.

I always have great experiences every time I go for my annual cleanings! My most recent technician Anna did an AMAZING job cleaning my teeth. She was so enthusiastic about her job, and was super gentle with my teeth, but very thorough too! I have finally gotten over my fear of the dentist and know im in great hands every time!

Beware, this office will inflate prices, even after you confirm the cost of your visit. The staff is very misleading when it comes to the cost of procedures. I was told on 2 different dates that I had a $0 balance from a routine office visit, because it was covered on insurance. When I went back 5 days later I suddenly owed an extra $125. When I scheduled a different procedure 2 weeks in advance I was called THE DAY BEFORE THE PROCEDURE and was told I was misquoted by the office staff, they "forgot to check a box" and it would be close to an extra $1,000 to proceed. If you question them about their misrepresentation of prices they will play it off as a misunderstanding on your part. The misunderstanding isn't on my behalf. The issue comes from the staff misrepresenting the cost of services, lying to patients. If you read through reviews from other patients, you will see there are numerous people that have had the same issue. *IN RESPONSE TO BUSINESS: When a patient sits down in your chair and asks "what is the total for todays visit" and the assistant says "Nothing, everything being done today is covered" that is NOT an "estimate" given by your staff. Then when I show up a month later I owe $125 from that visit I was told was covered by insurance.. that is a problem. A problem with YOUR staff misleading patients. And this extensive care you speak of was a routine cleaning and an attempt from your office at quoting me for a root canal, which they failed at doing as well. So, I stand by my review of your shady business practices and misleading your patients. But I do appreciate your generic response.

BEWARE!! They have outrageous policies around taking your money. I had a terrible experience scheduling a crown. First of all just to schedule they required a deposit of almost $400. Which I paid. They made a mistake scheduling my appointment and refused to take ownership of their mistake and instead charged me an additional $55 on top of the nearly $400 deposit because of their error. The only other option they would "allow" me to do was to reschedule BUT only if I paid for the entire procedure right then / upfront?!! I have never heard of having to pay upfront for dental work, they also will only estimate the cost and you have to overpay and get reimbursed by your insurance. I FEEL LIKE I GOT ROBBED!!!!!!

Amazing! They remembered me when I had only been there one time 6 yrs ago!! They are very nice, did a good job explaining things and making me feel comfortable. Definitely recommend them.
