I went to Red Maple Dentist needing alot of work and they helped me out. The Dentist and entire staff are very good and I always felt comfortable and well taken care of. Thank you!

I am the worst patient possible: I hate the thought of pain or the an approaching appointment for a month prior. Totally unfounded. And me visit today for a cavity fix had my typical paranoia. And totally non-validated. No pain and the staff was very empathetic. I can't praise enough. Hopefully my fear will listen to me. They are the greatest!

This dentist is cold as ice. The prices that this dentist charges is ASTRONOMICAL! DO NOT COME HERE! Go to a true local, kind, compassionate dentist. This woman is like a cold, drill Sargent.

I visited Red Maple several weeks ago in the hope if finding a new dentist in Asheville since I had just moved here. Red Maple seemed to have good reviews and I needed to wait over 3 months for an appointment which indicated a very busy practice. My first and only appointment lasted one hour and involved a comprehensive exam, huge amount of x-rays and photographs. My initial concern was for a growth on my gum and a old temp crown that needed to be finalized and was causing pain. The Dr told me I needed to have the growth biopsied to rule out cancer. At the end of the appointment I was told I MUST complete the recommended cleanings prior to any work being undertaken, including the biopsy. The costs of the cleaning would be $1300 and could not be completed for a further 3 months. Now here are my concerns about this practice; 1. They didn't seem to put my well being first. What if I did have cancer and had to tolerate these unreasonable delays ? That's not helping me as a patient. 2. The delay in appointment times in this practice is outrageous. 3. Although they seem to be wanting to provide a thorough and comprehensive service, they showed no interest in addressing my pain at all. 4. A week later I was sent a dental treatment plan which combined total was over $17,000. The most alarming thing about this plan apart from the price is the treatment recommendations weren't explained at any time including an extraction and were defined by medical codes I didn't understand. Not patient friendly at all. So in the absense of a focus on looking after me first as the patient, an absurd delay in treatments and a "we'll do it our way attitude" I went in search of another dentist and found one I'm very happy with. I've given Maple Dental a 2 instead of a 1, giving them credit for their comprehensive approach. But ofcourse I have no idea about the quality of their work but I do know it was going to take forever ,!!!

Really went above and beyond for my wheelchair bound mother. She was treated in her chair, and the techs and dentist did a phenomenal job ensuring she felt comfortable and cared for. They did a great job.

I've been pleased with the professionalism of everyone at the office since I became a patient about 2 years ago. Had a cavity taken care of for the first time today and it was clear I was in the care of a well tuned team. They barely had to talk as they were working, they were fast and there was no pain. I won't hesitate to recommend them.

Really great experience. Dr. Hoffert and her staff were top notch from start to finish. My entire family was thrilled with the care they received. Highly recommend!

Love this dental practice! Dr. Hoffert and staff are very up to date on best practices, and they are so friendly ! Pain free care . They keep you informed of what they are doing and show you on the digital film what is happening in your teeth. I recommend them to everyone. Been a patient here for 15 years ...

Red Maple Dental has such a wonderful staff, front desk is very friendly and the assistants are top notch, especially Kaitlyn. Dr. Hoffert is so professional and does incredible work. I’ve had my wisdom teeth extracted and fillings done at this office and I can’t thank Dr. Hoffert enough for taking such great care of me and my teeth.

My $5000.00 tooth fell out the same night the work was "completed" while eating rice and vegies. Ms. Hoffert never showed the least bit of concern, never personally contacted me and refuses a refund for the portion of the work which failed and had to be redone by another dental group. I have a nationally known professional who has provided written documentation that her work was not up to standard protocol and why it failed. I have attempted to settle this civilly to no avail. I have spent a fortune on dental work in my lifetime with many fine professionals, but I will never patronize this practice again and do not recommend.

I'll begin this review by stating Dr. Hoffert and the Red Maple team are simply the best. If you are looking for a team of dental experts who utilize the latest technology Red Maple has it. If you need a dentist with the highest level of training and skill set then Dr. Hoffert meets that criteria. She has undergone post graduate training and internships in implant dentistry. She's very pleasant and can explain the most complicated condition or procedure in terms you can understand. I underwent what would be considered a rather a complicated and intricate procedure and she handled it with ease and the highest level of skill. The staff at Red Maple are incredible. Everybody is so nice and friendly that it's like visiting old friends when you go in. And they are all highly trained and professional at their jobs; not to mention caring and sincere in helping you with whatever problem you have. If you are looking for dental care with folks who actually care about you and are at the top of their game then I highly recommend Red Maple Dental.

Absolutely the zenith in dental care in the Asheville area. The owner Dr. Shawna Hoffert is simply the highest quality doctor in dentistry others have to follow. Red Maple Dentistry is "THE" place to meet the needs of your dental care. It blows me away that there is on-site lab for making crowns, etc, CT scans for 3D imaging of problems and much more. The business operates like a precision machine with all of the staff involved and very pleasant and knowledgeable. Dr. Hoffert is exemplary in her profession and is really appreciated by all with dental care. Well equipped with state of the art equipment is very impressive and comforting all along with a doctor and staff that really care and love their work offering the best in patient services.

I recently moved to Asheville and am fortunate to have found Red Maple Dental. Dr. Hoffert’s dental expertise and personality made my experience pleasurable. It is not often that someone says it is a pleasure to go to the dentist. The entire staff are friendly, efficient and made me feel safe during the current Covid 19 pandemic. I highly recommend Red Maple Dental to anyone who needs a top notch dentist with top notch staff.

Red Maple Dental headed up by Dr. Hoffert and her exemplary staff is truly a dental practice for the ages. The expertise of Dr. Hoffert, her assistant Dar, the hygienist Stephanie and front desk person Laura are the best. Their care for this patient is truly something felt, an inner comfort level that you can't put a price on. The attention to detail, the kindness, the CLEANLINESS is something to behold. I recommend this practice with 15 stars out of 10. And as they will tell you, I'm not easy to please.

You’d be hard pressed to find a nicer group of folks. I feel like family, every time I have a visit. Stephanie is the best hygienist and Patty is always so nice. I love this practice and hope I never have to find another dentist!
