Not the type of place with dozens of examination rooms. A dental office on a very human scale. The reception room is cozy and comfortable. The receptionist is the dentists wife. Such a nice person. That is the theme of the place. Nice people that seem to really care. And Dr Yoon is the type of dentist we hope for. Honest and caring. He did not sell me anything that wasn't necessary. I enjoyed my visit and feel that five stars are barely enough.

Lady who answered the phone immediately had attitude. It's 9 am. How are you even already that mad? She obviously didn't want to be answering the phone. "Like I said...!" Ladys lucky I don't walk into that office and ask her if she wants to have the same energy to my face! I'm the one with a broken tooth but she's the one with a problem? I forget, did I call a dentist or a demented old lady?? Geez louise. UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE

My brother, sister, and I had pretty odd experiences here. The staff and hygienists are amazing, but Dr. Yoon on the other hand wasn’t quite as professional as you would hope a dental practitioner to be. My sister came in to have her front tooth shaved down two match the other, he did shave the tooth down but the two didn’t match which she pointed out and he said “it looked fine to him”, and would not do more. When my brother voiced concerns over tooth pain, Yoon dismissed his worries and instead gave him a “massage” saying he was just stressed. My wisdom teeth started to grow in and I was experiencing some discomfort, I came in to be referred to a surgeon but instead was told I was just stressed after also being given a “massage”. It was incredibly awkward and uncomfortable for both my brother and I.

I have been treated by Dr Yoon and his wonderful staff for over 10 years. The office is conveniently located and seems to be very clean. I feel like the doctor is honest and has a high standard that he and his staff try to uphold. I will continue to be their patient.

Dr. Yoon's staff are great, and his dentistry work seems to be solid. However his willingness to be a professional who explains procedures is lacking and he holds an attitude of superiority towards his patients.

Best dentist around, period. Dr. Yoon is amazing, great at what he does and super fast. I refuse to go anywhere else. The supporting staff are great, very friendly and helpful. Patient for life, thank you guys so very much.

I didn’t think having 2 root canals would ever be a good experience, but Dr. Yoon is excellent. In and out in 1.5 hours, anesthetic wore off and I felt great. I would highly recommend Dr. Yoon to my friends and family.

Bad experience.

I have been visiting this office for years with nothing but good experiences. It might be more expensive than some but the personal service is really important to me. Ms Joyce is great at scheduling you and I have come in with short notice twice. Same day in fact. The cleanings have been pain free and thorough. I added a new crown which is perfect, a cavity was pain free. I would certainly recommend Dr. Yoon and his staff to anyone.

Dr Yoon and all of his staff are the best at everything they do to make your dental care experience a positive one. Best care I have ever recieved anywhere. When I called to make an appointment they were able to get me into the office without weeks or months of wait time. All of your new patient paperwork is done online prior to your appointment so they have all the information they need to start a plan. Every step of any procedure is thoroughly explained and all effort is made to keep you as comfortable as possible. The office is very clean and updated. Covid protection plan is in place and enforced. Dr Yoon is even has a background as epidemiologist. I felt very comfortable with having my dental work done at his office. I am lucky to have found a dentist that I can make a plan to get the perfect smile that I have wanted for years.

I have a lot of dental anxiety. I also need quite a bit of work done. I switched to Dr. Yoon about a month ago and I do not regret it. Each time I've gone to his office I felt like I was in good hands. I got a clear treatment plan and staff members that care! Dr. Yoon made my root canal as pleasant as a root canal could possibly be today! With his high level of care and his knowledgeable staff, I would trust bringing the rest of my family here. From someone with dental anxiety, I can highly recommend visiting Dr. Yoon!

A very wonderful place. Every little detail had been thought of. The staff is so caring. Barbara is a hygienist there who took her time with me on my visit, and gave me a very thorough dental cleaning. I highly recommend this dental office.

This review is long overdue. I've been a patient for more than 7 years for regular care and restorative work, and I have experienced nothing but excellent dental care. I've had two restorative crowns completed by Dr. Yoon and he is a Craftsman at this work. Careful with making certain that the crown foundation is sound, and very particular about the final appearance. Above all, both crowns fit my bite perfectly and are the most comfortable restorations, ever. I know because my teeth were damaged 35 years ago and this restorative work is by far the best I've received. He's the third dentist that I've had work on my restored teeth. I'm glad that I found Dr. Yoon because he's the first dentist that I've had in the past 40 years that truly cares.

focused more on money than quality care,does not stand behind his work.very disappointed.with Asheville having many quality dental professionals,I would highly recommend avoiding this clinic.

Dr. Yoon and his team have done an outstanding job for the past 3 years that I have been going there. Joyce up front and the rest of the staff is beyond friendly, and the care they provide is excellent. Ashley and Dr. Yoon are thorough and take care to educate me during my exam/cleaning. I even had treatment for a canker sore (did not know this was possible) with instant relief. The entire staff takes the time to get to know their patients on a personal level. This team is awesome and would recommend to anyone.

If I could give him a negative starI would. To start I have a cap on my front left took in the center from a roller blading accident when I was a kid. This cap had only chipped once before and it was from an ice skating accident when I was a preteen. Went and saw Dr. Yoon for the first time in 2016 (October if I am remembering correctly) and he said that it was time for me to get a new cap. I agreed because it had been years. He replaces the cap and it looks fine. Come to be months later I am eating a slice of pizza and my cap comes off. This perplexed me because I had never had it happen before. Call Dr. Yoon and they have me come in the next day. While I am sitting there in the chair Dr. Yoon himself implies that the doctor that had done the work on me did a bad job. Then I remind him that it was him months ago and he is shocked. He then looked it up on his computer to see if I was telling them truth and then brushed the subject off. He goes on with fixing my tooth and then is done - gives me the mirror and the cap he put on isn’t as long as my natural tooth and mirrors it. I point this out and he says “oh I can’t see that from this angle”. He then instead of adding onto the cap to make it even files down my natural tooth. (I am attaching pictures of all of this). He did not charge me for this work but messed up my natural tooth more. Well here we are in May of 2018 and my cap just came off again while I am eating broccoli and cheese. Very quick to see me. Staff was extremely nice and Dr Yoon was awesome. Had seen another Dr and was told I needed a root canal and crown so I saw Dr Yoon for a 2nd opinion and there was absolutely nothing wrong with my tooth. This is an honest Doctor. We have found our dentist that’s for sure.

I have been a patient of Dr Yoon for over 10 years. I highly recommend him as a highly skilled and caring dentist.

Dr. Yoon and his staff are exceptional. They are always friendly, helpful and professional. I have always hated going to the dentist until Dr. Yoon. Up to the point I had neglected some dental work prior to Dr. Yoon because of it. Due to his "bedside" manner, him being methodical , and explaining in detail what is about to happen I no longer have a fear or dislike for sitting in a dental chair. At least his. He has done major and minor work for me and all has been a very positive experience. I have also been very satisfied with the quality of work. His Dental Hygienist Ashley is also great.
