The difference is night and day from the last dentist I had. They never informed me on how to take care of my teeth. They were so informative and knowledgeable. My husband and I were new to Franklin, NC and needed a new dentist, since my old dentist was in FL. One thing led to another and we ended up at Dr. David McGuire’s office. We are both retired, but my husband is the pastor of Burningtown Baptist Church in Franklin. My previous profession is a dental Hygienist/ instructor. I was a clinical dental Hygienist for 28 years and a dental Hygienist/assistant instructor for 15 years. You can say that I am pretty knowledgeable in dentistry and very particular with who cares for my teeth and my husband’s teeth. Dr. McGuire is the gentlest and the most professional dentist I’ve ever met. He is very thorough in his exams and his dental work is impeccable. I needed some dental work, and all I had to do was review my own X-rays to know he was so right in his diagnosis. My husband and I will continue to have this dentist and his professional staff to take care of our teeth!

Worst experience ever. Literally should have left this review a long time ago. Dr mcquire insisted my son have a bunch of teeth removed at young age. His front two teeth were the only problem due to him using a sippy cup to long. So on his recommendation my son was put under local anitesia and teeth were removed. Doing this was a mistake because it shrunk his mouth causing us to spend thousands to correct this. When I spoke with the receptionist at Dr Mcguires office they didnt want to admit to any wrong doing. This is not my only bad experience with this place. Other people have had similar issues. Stay away!!!

I went to Dr. McGuire knowing I had one cavity, but after he poked around at four of my bottom teeth he said I had three cavities. I went to get a second opinion at another dentist and he said I had two broken filling one on the bottom and one on top. completely different than what Dr. McGuire said. The overall experience was discouraging and I didn't like the over all environment of the office.
