It is unethical and unprofessional to discriminate and not accept medicaid. There is no good reason to not accept this type of insurance other than greed. Medical professionals all took oathes and got into this industry to help others and the choice to make services inaccessible to poor people speaks volumes.

Every time I have a gone to the Herringer dentist office the staff has been professional and treated me with courtesy. They are professional and good at what they do. But it's more than just that they ask me what music I'd like to listen to while in the exam room. What flavors of polish that I would like. Absolutely the most professional, expert, advanced, painless dental care I have ever received-and I definitely am getting a bit “long in the tooth!” As a patient in my 60s, I have been there, done that, and seen it all. My mouth is a veritable “dental museum.” From the giant fillings of the 1960s to the inevitable root canals and crowns from 1985-to present, I have had every type of dental experience and none has been as expert, professional or rewarding as with Dr. Heringer. It’s so discouraging to have had all the dental work that I have had and still need more. It’s constant maintenance. Dr. Heringer addressed the emotional aspect of dental work with professionalism and great expertise. He and his staff were warm, friendly, reassuring, skilled, resourceful and effective every step of the way. The results are amazing! Dr. Heringer stabilized my lower quadrant and repaired a broken crown that two other dentist had been unable to correct. His tissue work along the gum line was outstanding. I have at least 8 crowns and I have never had one just snap into place with no adjustment-feeling absolutely natural immediately. Pain-free, beautiful work! I highly recommend Dr. Heringer and Heringer Dentistry. There is absolutely no one better! Dr. Heringer is experienced, professional, dedicated and a dental artist!

I took my daughter to Dr. Heringer for the 6 month braces. The 6 month braces turned into a year long treatment. His demeanor was very abrasive with little kindness shown...not too mention the cost is very high to boot!.. I wish I would have avoided this place! It has now been a few years. All the grinding down of my daughter's teeth by Dr. Heringer has made her teeth super sensitive. Her teeth were nicely shaped before so the excessive filing and grinding seemed very unnecessary. Also, the fact that he no longer does braces sounds like a good thing!..this was NOT a good experience!!
