Crown Heights Dentistry

I wanted to update my review. I started going to Dr Atkinson around 10 years ago and my experiences were always positive. Dr. Silver took over a few years ago and she is great! I love my dentist! It is so important to have a dentist you can trust!

I can’t say enough good things about crown heights dentistry. As someone who has a lot of anxiety especially with dental work/any medical type of procedures I was so so glad to have gone here. They were so incredibly kind and considerate and made me feel so at home. Every one in there checked on me. They gave me a blanket, pillow, and checked in nearly every 5 minutes which is just what I needed. I will recommend this place to everyone I know, it was such an amazing experience (as amazing as dental work can be lol) and I am so glad I found them for my routine dental cleanings and any other procedures I would need!!! 10/10 recommend!!!! Being female, I was especially relaxed to be surrounded by majority women in this office! Everyone was so kind.

Dr. Silver is the best. She is friendly and makes having teeth maintenance and repair fun! Would recommend.

Dr. Silver is by far the most professional and caring dentist I have ever been to. I have been going to her even before she was at this practice and I followed her to Crown Heights because of how great she is! She genuinely cares and shows concern for all of her patients, plus she’s funny and makes you feel comfortable! I highly recommend Dr. Silver to anyone.

After coming here for near a decade now, all I can say is Dr. Atkinson is an excellent dentist. An artist of his trade. Claudia at the front is superb at her job as well, and it is always a pleasure to see her there! The supporting staff is wonderful and friendly. Kudos all around!

I’ve been going to Crown Heights Dentistry for a couple years and i will never go anywhere else! They have the friendliest administrative staff you will ever meet and both Dr. Atkinson and Dr. Silver are personable, knowledgeable and deeply care for their patients and craft. What’s more, in the midst of the pandemic they took the time to carefully establish many safety and sanitization measures to protect patients and their staff, without losing the positive energy and attitude that makes the place great! Go get your teeth cleaned!

Getting a cleaning in the post-pandemic environment has been a serious concern of mine. Crown Heights has gone to extreme measures to ensure that their clinic is the safest in town. They mean business with the PPE and--they have medical grade air purifiers next to every chair. The constant sound would get on my nerves, but they really do take great care to keep their patients safe. Dr. Silver is awesome, the hygienist was awesome. Totally recommend!

Took my grandchildren in for cleaning and checkup and was very pleased at how very friendly and professional the staff and Dr. was. The grandkids said it was a great experience and they wanted to go back. No more anxiety or being afraid of going to the dentist. I recommend this dentistry to anybody and everybody.

I was a big old coward with dentistry and went to Crown Heights. They treated me with kindness and understood my fears and never made feel bad for being a chicken. Dr. Atkinson did an amazing job and kept me pain free. The staff is professional, well versed and compassionate. I highly recommend them.

I have never in my life EVER been treated so badly and rudely by any dentist or Physician. My initial experience with this office was fantastic and I absolutely loved Dr. Atkinson’s staff. My dental needs were quite extensive and I purchased a Groupon. First visit was great and I knew the work that I needed would be costly. We paid over $3500. One of my procedures was a root canal. After the procedure I had considerable pain for over a week. The temporary crown he had just put on me literally broke off after a week. It was a weekend so I had about 48 hours that the temp crown was off. We lived over an hour away. Dr Atkinson overheard me telling his staff that I had constant pain that I had been dealing with for over a week. Dr Atkinson tried to blame me for going around for over a week with my temp crown off. I informed him that that wasn’t true that my crown had only been off for about 48 hours or less. His reply was “whatever”. He didn’t believe me. He was mean and so aggressive with me and started jerking my head around and was PURPOSELY being physically abusive because he was angry. He didn’t even bother to ask me how or when everything happened. He just assumed from overhearing part of a conversation with his staff. This all happened a few years ago. 2 days ago the permanent crown he placed on me broke somehow. I now have a big hole in my crown that I paid lots of money for and severe pain. Dr Atkinson apologized to me for the way he had treated me when I went in to have the permanent crown placed on. (if I hadn’t already paid for the permanent crown I wouldn’t have gone back. I was self conscious already about my teeth and I couldn’t believe that I paid someone who was physically abusive. I think about how I was crying while he was working on me,,,,, it just annoyed him and made him more aggressive. He was literally working on me so hard that he was jerking my head and neck. My husband and I drove 2 hours to his satellite office because he wasn’t in his main

I visited Crown Heights Dental Clinic to start a teeth whitening treatment, and I was amazed at how efficient and thorough the process was! What was more amazing was that I received my whitening tray from the lab upstairs the same day of my visit. Dr. Atkinson is the best, and this is the best dental office in OKC - I'd highly recommend!

I was impressed by the care the staff took to give me an extremely thorough teeth cleaning, including x-rays and even a whitening treatment kit. Everyone was very polite and informative, without being pushy. I would definitely return here for my usual checkups and cleanings in the future!
