Our visit to Dr. Paul Kim’s office will be remembered and always appreciated. We had an emergency situation with my dad who was in search of a dentist that could see him in short order and in a town we do not reside. Dr. Kim was recommended and adjusted his schedule to see my dad. We were welcomed to the most friendly and comfortable office environment. The genuine kindness and care from both Dr. Kim and his assistant Anna, immediately put us at ease and we knew we were in the hands of the right people. Dr. Kim treated my dad as if he was his own father. His experience and truth and good energy were reassuring and incredibly refreshing. He went above and beyond to treat my dad’s case and we look forward to not only completing the process, but additional dental work my dad has put off. It is fair to say Dr. Kim is unique in his field. His no pressure, yet thorough and informative approach, and openness to discuss options with sincere compassion and understanding of his patient’s needs and concerns is appreciated beyond compare. I couldn't be more happy that I found Dr. Kim! My root canal failed after a traumatic injury and series of mistakes from ski patrol, urgent care, and a previous dentist in Bend. Dr. Kim accommodated my schedule, and worked patiently to try to solve the problems and save my tooth. He is experienced, thorough, and took his time with me. Dr. Kim and Anna were transparent about what they were doing, treated me so kindly, and use only the best materials. They made me feel like they actually wanted the best for me! 10/10 you will be taken care of here. Dr. Kim is a wonderful human being and a highly professional dentist. The level of care he shows towards a patient is extraordinary! I had two root canals done - one was a re-do of what another doctor started and the other was a double root canal - and the process was absolutely pain free from start to finish. Even the healing afterwards did not require any pain medication and Dr. Kim personally reached out to me several times to make sure I was feeling OK. Dr. Kim uses the latest technology to ensure he is providing the best treatment possible and he is always attentive and sensitive to his patient’s needs. I had a wonderful first visit with Dr Paul Kim and his staff at Deeply Rooted Dentistry. The office is lovely, comfortable, and spotless. His assistant Anna is friendly and extremely helpful. The thought of getting any type of dental work done along with having suffered from TMJ on top of that, can make me quite anxious. My visit at Deeply Rooted Dentistry with Dr. Kim and Anna for a root canal was a very pleasant experience. The service was not only top-notch, the equipment used was definitely the most advanced. Nothing I’ve ever experienced before. Even the drill that was used didn’t have the high pitched squeaky sound that usually makes my ears ring. During my 3-hour visit, I was welcomed with a nice cup of espresso and a wonderful conversation. The office was very warm and cozy. Being comfortable is a top priority because throughout the procedure, I was always asked if I was “ok”, and was told that if I needed a break, to just raise my hand. I definitely had to take a break because of the TMJ. But Dr. Kim was very understanding and even provided a “tooth cushion”, which alleviated a lot of the stress from my jaws. He was very thorough with the work and gentle! He also did find that I did have an infection and treated it accordingly. He talked me through everything that was being done and why. Not once did I ever feel as if he was rushing! He even showed me an X-ray of the end result. I must admit, it was quite fascinating and would show it off if I could. It is an art that Dr. Kim takes pride in. I know we don’t all go out wanting a root canal, but if ever you find yourself in that situation, I can assure you that “Deeply Rooted Dentistry” is the place to go! I was also treated for my TMJ by Dr. Kim, who did botox injections to relax my jaw muscles. For the first time in over 20 years of suffering have I experienced a sense of relief! Thank you Dr. Kim and Anna for the wonderful service and making my visit so wonderful. ***I must also add that Dr. Kim followed up on the procedure the following day to ensure that I wasn’t in pain and to give me additional post-procedure care instructions should anything happen. Dr. Kim and his staff are extremely professional and went above and beyond to care for my 8 year old daughter. Dr Kim went above and beyond the call of professional duty. He treated my daughter for an emergency root canal on a Friday evening and made sure that she was treated out of pain before returning to college. I was referred to Dr. Kim when I got an abscess on my gum from a root canal I had done 10+ years prior by someone else. First visit with Dr. Kim was awesome. He is very knowledgeable, patient, and took time to explain things in a way I understood. He took some X-rays and was a little shocked at what he was seeing… he suspected that my previous dentist had left gauze packed inside my tooth. Sure enough, when Dr. Kim got in there he found TEN+ year old gauze sitting on top of a nasty infected tooth with some root still hiding deep inside that was not taken care of during the original root canal. We could have just pulled the tooth and been done with it but I really didn’t want to lose my tooth. Dr. Kim came up with a plan to save my tooth by doing a rare procedure that I had never even heard of along with a bone graft and some other magical techniques and it worked!!! Healed up nicely and saved my tooth! So thankful for his patience and knowledge and willingness to tackle my tricky situation! Would highly recommend Dr. Kim and if I ever need another root canal I’m traveling to Bend!
