Willamette Dental Group - Bend

Last year during open enrollment I changed my insurance to willamette dental group. Some time after I had a crown brake; when I called to an appointment I was lead to believe they would fix my tooth. Instead they cleaned my teeth, billed my insurance for that, and told me because the crown was done by another dentist in Bend they would not fix it. So here I am with a broken tooth just waiting for open enrollment so I can switch my insurance again and go to a legitimate dental office. Edit: they called me all right, and the first thing they asked is if I called the dentist where I had the crown done originally…. I think the thing that enrages me is they act like my time has no value and I’m lucky to get their help. I lost $500 for the day wage and another $1000 for the weekly bonus. Fool me once…

I have never had a dentist yell at me before. I ended up walking out crying. I don't care if you don't understand one's medical issues. You don't call them out yellin at them in front of other's. That's not how you handle it. This is your job to fix other's teeth. Not yell at them and asking why their teeth went down hill in 1.5 yrs. Look up Hashimotos disease and it can give you a break down. I'm having my file transferred to Gresham. I won't be shamed and made felt bad for my dental issues.

I would highly recommend this dental practice! Very professional, informative, and appt done in timely manner for my work schedule.

Thankful for this dental office and very pleased with how I was treated! I suffer with severe anxiety and by the time I left, my anxiety was practically gone. I was treated so good and they were extremely patient with me.

We love Willamette Dental. All of the staff is so friendly. Our kids aren’t terrified about going to the dentist here. My youngest actually ASKS when he can go again!

We've had wonderful experiences with this clinic. They have been very kind and patient with both our young kids (4 and 6) and they both love visiting the dentist because of the awesome staff here. Highly recommend!

Worst dental experience of my life, unless you like spending a few grand on teeth and walking away with a over bite and being told during the fitting it's your fault and the only way to fix the problem is to buy another set and by the way its going to take another six months to complete and no guarantees. Do yourself a favor find a dental company that really cares.

I got insurance through my employer for dental and i thought this was the best plan but after reading the reviews i think i will stay with my current dentist and pay higher out of pocket. its sad i have to wait until 2023 to make the change but yikes i dont think i wan to put myself or my family through what these people are going through.

The dental assistants are extremely kind & experienced but the front office staff ( some) are extremely rude. I've never been treated so poorly each time I visit the office. Also the orthodontist has very rude treatment to his young patients. I wouldn't recommend this office to ANYONE.

I have been using this clinic for many years with my children. Recently I had to see a specialist about my dental issues. So they put a plan in place and all the appointments setup n I had to wait over a month for my tooth extraction. I was not told I am not able to schedule another appointment to be fair with everyone. I have huge anxiety so to do this is a challenge and so I got my medication assuming they had what they need from me. 10 minutes before my procedure they call to say oh u haven't signed the consent. Don't get me wrong thats my responsibility too and I thought they had what they need. So now all my appointments are out they can't rearrange anything cause that's not fair to other patience. Well it's not fair to me that I took time off of work n got myself prepared n then oh they didn't have my consent for my medications. So now I have to reschedule everything of course and wait a WHOLE MONTH to be fair to other but there may be a cancelation which yeah it doesn't happen I've been called once the whole time but whatever. I use to think this office was great, responsive and caring really do not feel that way.at this time I will no longer suggest them to others because of the inability or empathy they have with people and their isaues.

UPDATE: It has been determined that I am an exsisting patient so I was able to get scheduled. I would have changed it too 5 star but I am still upset over the whole situation. I have been going to Willamette Dental for several years. The last 11 years I have not had dental insurance so I have been playing cash at the time of service (including the cleaning and checkup just last month). This weekend I chipped a tooth. I called to get an appointment this morning and was told that I could not make and appointment without insurance. To say I am upset an disappointed is an understatement. Thanks for nothing Willamette Dental group....you are the worst.

They cannot get billing right. They keep charging us for missed appointments from 2016 that we have already paid for and they want us to pay a 3rd time so we can make an appointment. It’s ridiculous. We will be changing insurance in October. Worse service ever. Add to review: your response is to tell me to call member services which is who I have already called ? Member services already told me too bad. How is this suppose to help or do you just respond to everyone to just call. ?

If you have their insurance it can be a low cost option. However, be aware that if you have children the dentist we had almost immediately got impatient with our four year old who was understandably nervous. She snapped at him and so we had to reschedule and try again. The second hygienist and dentist were friendly so our boy did fine. Unfortunately they made us pay for both visits with no apology or ownership. DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE unless you are willing to gamble.

Dr Kawasaki-Jones, Hygienist Allison, X Ray tech Kim, and all the other staff were fantastic. Made me feel very comfortable & safe. Facility is very clean and super modern, including hypersonic tools instead of drills. Cleaning was very quick, efficient, and relatively painless. They answered all my questions & listened to all concerns. I'll happily keep going here as long as my insurance covers it.
