Dr Nelson saw me under imperfect circumstances, I had fallen, loosened and damaged my lower teeth and broke my upper denture. From my first call into his clinic I felt reassured that he could help me. My first visit was amazing, not something I have ever said about a dental appt. I went in same day with a crown that had fallen off. Dr. Nelson and Mandy and the staff were kind and knowledgeable. They fit me in quickly for a repair to my crown and a cleaning. Dr. Nelson also went over the status of all of my teeth with me and let me know what I might expect in the future. Overall it was a pleasant visit, and for the dentist that's saying a lot! I love this place. I am from Southern Oregon, but am currently living in Utah. I know Dr. Nelson personally, so when I started to feel intense tooth aches, he was the one I reached out to first. I flew from Utah just to get some dental work done. Dr. Nelson is someone I trust and feel comfortable around! He’s trustworthy and just tells you how it is—no beating around the bush. Not to mention he’s got a great sense of humor! I was genuinely surprised by how painless my root canal was, so I was grateful for that! Highly recommend!

First and foremost, I NEVER write reviews! I was compelled to do so after my experience at Central Point Family Dentistry. I am disabled and have no dental insurance. I had been seeing a dental facility that worked on a sliding scale (yes, that one....) with less than satisfying results. While at Albertson's one day, I saw there was a new dentist in my neighborhood and decided to try them. When I made the appointment with Dr. Sanford, I had already been diagnosed with "severe" gum disease; told I needed to have ALL my teeth pulled and have dentures. I was quite devastated by my diagnosis. However, to my very relieved surprise, Dr. Sanford said I did not have "severe" gum disease and it would not be necessary to continue pulling my teeth! I was floored! I had trusted my prior dentist. Dr. Sanford and his staff were extremely kind and professional from my very first phone call. It was a holiday, and they were closed but an employee who had stopped in the office answered the phone and spent time listening to my story, and arranged an appointment for me. When I arrived, The office was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. I was greeted promptly (with a smile) and after completing my paperwork was led back for my x-rays and examination. Dr. Sanford and his assistant were very warm and made me feel completely comfortable. Although I was initially embarrassed by the state of my dental issues, I was treated with complete respect, and assured they would work with me at my financial pace to repair my teeth opposed to dentures. I happily recommend Central Point Family Dentistry to anyone looking for dental care. I personally have found my new dentist!
