Dr. Nick Smith was on call when I developed an abscess. When speaking with him, he was kind, professional, and reassuring. His staff got me in first thing the next morning. Hannah, I believe was my hygienist, she was gentle attentive and very sweet. When I met with dr. Smith he took the time to hear my story and understand my anxiety and history with dental work. I had to have an older filling removed and replaced today. Dr. Smith and his team were efficient and personable! Their procedure is such an improvement over my childhood dentists! I did not experience any pain during the entire procedure. They give you a numbing cotton swab, then the lidocaine injection, then the filling, and you're on your way. My children also enjoy the hygienists. They are excited to visit the dentist and have no fear whatsoever!

Have you ever heard of a child that enjoys going to the dentist? I haven't known anything different - even after he has had shots in his gums, teeth pulled and now wears braces. My son is now 12 and still looks forward to his every-six-month visits. Dr. Smith calls my son by name and remembers that at his last visit he was looking forward to a basketball tournament. My son desires to impress his dentist with excellent oral hygiene because Dr. Smith is quick to tell him when his teeth are looking great. Dr. Smith's hygienists remember my son as well and ask about a vacation we took in between our six month visits. They intentionally remember details, such as History is still his favorite subject in school. When we go to the dentist, we expect that we're going to receive professional, expert treatment and encouragement to take good care of our teeth. We regularly receive what one would not normally expect - personal attention and an actual friendship with our dentist and his staff. Dr. Smith's office is quite a win for Klamath Falls!
