Dental Excellence

There is a lack of communication and professionalism when it comes to Dental Excellence. They misinformed me when it came to insurance coverage, and then that they capfuls to speak on behalf of the individual, who helped me, as they no longer worked there. I would recommend looking elsewhere unless you’re prepared for a financial hardship.

I woke up during two teeth extractions, after opting to pay for sedation and being told I would "remember nothing." Not only do I remember it, and every nightmare afterwards, but my ability to trust dentists again was stolen from me. When I finally spoke to Dr. Johnson after having to leave messages and call his office repeatedly, he actually had the nerve to tell me what I did and did not remember! I'm so impressed - I had no idea that telepathy was in the scope of his highly trained expertise as a dentist and anesthetist! He refused to refund the $700 I paid for -by choice, not necessity- sedation as well. I will say that his support staff were most accommodating, especially Janelle. I would have rather paid $700 for her care any day.

If you're looking for outrageous prices that double and triple every time you have an appointment then this is the place to go! The work he did (3 crowns) fell out after one year! That is a worst nightmare come true for my poor father.

Dr. Johnson is excellent, and you can tell his employees love him. Clean facility. They seemed like they had newer machines that were easier and more comfortable than other dentists. My teeth were in really bad shape and I hadn't been to the dentist in years because I was terrified. Dr. Johnson was gentle and understanding and patient with all my fears and questions. I had a root canal with such minimal pain I didn't even need my pain med prescription. Amazing experience. I would recommend Dr. Johnson to anyone, especially anyone in need of serious work.

I was hoping this office could help me with my level of discomfort . Unfortunately I was wrong.if you don't have the full amount this place will not work with you.

Since getting insurance I've had bad experiences with dental offices, but this establishment is so friendly and transparent. Every visit I've had a appointment they've not only educated me on oral hygiene, but also how insurance & billing works. I never thought I'd say this but I'm actually looking forward to my fillings this week XD

I am or was terrified of the Dentist. That is until I found Dr Johnson and his team. Their confidence and ability to make you feel relaxed is amazing. The team is always smiling and laughing and I find it very refreshing to have a medical team that love their jobs. and it is apparent. They explain every step of your procedure before during and after. Dr Johnson offers laughing gas. I highly recommend it. Did I say high? If your like me the gas is the way to go. Totally puts you instant "What me worry?" mode. I will wrap up by saying don't put of caring for your choppers. Let the folks at Dental Excellence put a smile on your face. You will be like me and find comfort in knowing you have chosen the best the Rogue Valley has to offer !

I love coming to see my dentist. Everyone is amazing. They are so welcoming and make me feel so comfortable every time I’m in. The environment is friendly and light hearted but everyone is also professional and very knowledgeable. I can’t say enough about Dr. Johnson and his team. They do amazing work and treat you with very much kindness!

I used to fly in from another state to receive care from Dr. Johnson and his staff. I have a huge fear of needles and anxiety about visiting the dentist, so their sedation services are the only way I've been able to have work done. Everyone is very friendly, and it's always a pleasant experience.

Dr. Johnson is so competant that he double checks his work to be sure there are no errors. He did so on my implant and the result was perfection. His 5% cash discount is modest, but he has earned the name "Dental Excellence".

The other reviews have it right. The staff is wonderful and helpful. Be prepared to OVERPAY OVERPAY OVERPAY. Get a second opinion and a second price quote.

I recently had my bi-annual cleaning appointment. As always, I was greeted in a warm familiar manner and the process was very pleasant. Everyone is so nice and helpful, as well as taking good care of my teeth; always offering helpful hints on how I can improve my dental health. I have been enjoying this excellent care for more than 25 years!

Moving to Grants Pass several years ago, has not deterred me from patronizing Dental Excellence Medford for all of my dental services, due to their thorough and professional care. Each year I get a very complete examination by Dr. Robert Johnson and during one checkup a couple of years ago, he spotted a suspicious spot on my gum, and immediately referred me to an oral surgeon for a biopsy. Fortunately the biopsy proved to be benign. This is what it’s all about, sometimes we think our teeth look great and don’t notice something so very small. That’s when we rely on the experts! Since I have dental implants, cleaning for me is required every six months and the procedure can be lengthy once a year when the denture in removed entirely. I must admit the Dental Hygienist, Linda Jarman, is one of the most meticulous and gentle hygienist I have even had work on my teeth and gums. She does her work incredibly well. If you are in need of a great dentist or a great hygienist, please check them out! I highly recommend them and think you will be pleased.

This was a great experience coming to dental excellence. These people really care about us. The staff is great, the dentist is great, great experience I would recommend it to anyone.

I took my Mom to see Dr Johnson to get her dental implant fixed. I was so happy with the service she received. She looks years younger and can finally eat better. The implants were perfect. Such wonderful service and staff. Will recommend to all our friends.
