Medford Dentist - Dr. Nathan Tanner DMD

I'm really impressed with Dr. Tanner! Both him and his staff were kind, empathetic, honest, communicative and good at what they do. I feel very fortunate to have found them. I originally went in for a 2nd opinion cause the first dentist said I needed a crown and a few fillings. I'm so glad I got a 2nd opinion cause Dr. Tanner said my teeth are good and I only need 1 filling. He saved my tooth and saved me hundreds of dollars. Thank you so much for everything!

If I could give Dr Tanner 10 stars I would. He is an “Exceptional Doctor”! What a kind, understanding, and compassionate doctor with a big heart. I am so excited to find a dentist who really goes out of his way to show that he cares and wants to help. Highly skilled and I feel he the best holistic dentist in the area. I can’t recommend him enough, he goes above and beyond and the extra mile. The staff was very friendly, helpful and had big smiles and attentive to my needs. The Hygienist Michele is so detailed and proficient in her job I am so glad she is my new Hygienist. My teeth mean a lot to me, and to have this type of service is amazing. Dr. Tanner and his staff are exceptional! They have always been able to get us in when needed and or in emergencies. And they have always done excellent work. Even their hygienists are very skilled and knowledgeable in their practice. And Dr. Tanner is very sociable and kind. Thank you all very much.

This office delivers world class care! I went to Dr. Tanner for some fillings because he came highly recommended from patients of mine. Needless to say, I drove 3.5 hours each way to have the work done and I would do it again tomorrow. When it comes to expertise and all natural ingredients, this team has it covered. Dr. Tanner and his team are extremely knowledgable at their craft. Dr. Tanner did fillings and teeth restructuring on me. My teeth look better in ways than they ever have in my lifetime. My teeth and bite feel better than they have in years! Also, his team showed me some mouth exercises to work on nose breathing and it’s already making a difference. It hasn’t even been 24 hours. His team showed me their work with natural palate restructuring without surgery or pulling teeth. SO COOL and life changing! Also, I enjoyed that the office was very humble and not flashy, which can be a turn off for me with dental offices. Thanks again for the visit! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this office. I will be back for more dental needs for myself and my family.

I had a phenomenal experience with this whole office and Dr Tanner. There was a great positive energy when I walked in. This visit is regarding my initial exam with Dr Tanner and a regular cleaning. Dr Tanner was very kind and a great communicator throughout the exam in both listening to my needs and providing solutions. My cleaning was smooth and easy considering I was overdue for my cleaning having recently moved states and jobs. For those considering where to have great dental care that carries...no...not “caries”...over into great whole health, this is an easy office to recommend!

Best dentist in the world and I can honestly say that as I have lived in multiple different countries. Dr Tanner is so good I actually took the time to write a review. My Son is 3 years old and Dr tanner is excellent with children, lots of nice colors and good energy when you step into the office. None of that clinic white feeling. There is a lot of heart in the practice and I was delighted when I had a check up that I could go too :) Dr Tanner is also open minded about dentistry and doesn't just tell you what he was told in a book but rather listens and remains open. Eg talking about Floride in toothpaste. Most dentists just laugh or talk about how foolish it is and it's needed. Dr Tanner actually listening and explains.

Dr Tanner is wonderful, he and his team are working on expanding my jaw to treat sleep apnea. I have been wearing the brace for a month now and even a few days after having these on my husband commented that I was not snoring! And I stopped getting up in the middle of the night! This works! I recommend this treatment for anyone with sleep apnea. His staff is so kind and welcoming too! like family.

I have been a patient of Dr. Tanner since February 2020 and I couldn't be happier. I am 45 and feel 25 again. I breathe better, sleep better, have much more stamina and am performing at 110% in my career. The staff is wonderful, always gentle and friendly. Dr. Tanner himself is a treat to work with and one of the most educated individuals I have encountered. If you need a dentist, do your future self a favor and call the office to book an appointment.

Update (4/20/21): I just had a fantastic cleaning by Michelle--gentle, thorough, personable. And my implants are still functioning great! I can't recommend this practice enough. I went to see Dr. Tanner who got a stellar recommendation from a friend. He did 2 dental implants for me for half the cost I was quoted elsewhere. He could not have been more patient - focused in his care. He is very thorough and yet very personable and caring. I am extremely satisfied with my new dental implants! I highly recommend Dr. Tanner to everyone. I even sent my husband who hates dentists to him and he came surprisingly pleased about getting care from Dr. Tanner.

We are so grateful for Dr.Tanner for fixing my partners front tooth. Our dog jumped up and hit his head pretty hard right on his upper tooth and cracked it in half. When he smiled it didn’t look like he had a tooth. We called Dr.Tanner and he got us in right away. Wow we are so blessed!! With our baby due in less than two weeks he took all our worries away!!

I can’t recommend this dental office enough. Besides the fact that they are the only ones in the area that have a holistic approach they’re also such warm friendly staff... big shout to Kaila for being such a loving and supportive assistance and holding my hand through the treatment,,, I needed that 🥰 Dr. Tanner is such a bright person and greets me with a big warm smile every time, he checks up on our family every time we had a procedure with such care and love. I am so grateful we have such an amazing dentist office in this area!!

This by far...the absolute most blessed and best dentist I’ve had the pleasure to be a patient of. Dr Tanner and his staff exude unconditional love, this place is like a dentist secondary and safe haven first and foremost. Dr tanner pulled my wisdom tooth AWAKE...which I was so nervous for mind you, and it barely felt like anything. I dreaded the dentist because of the harsh energy felt, now I look forward to visiting. I’m super grateful to go to a place that is soothing to the soul. ♥️

Dr Tanner was a breath of fresh air for me in a moment of stress. My 9 year old son at the time, we were told needed 2 root canals. I was scared to have that process done with him so young. I called Dr Tanner for a second opinion and he helped us through explaining our options and deciding to go with fillings. Not actually needing root canals I'm grateful we found Dr Tanner to help us on a more holistic approach to healthy teeth, gums and lifestyle!

Finally a dentist who is not only technically extremely skilled, but one who does not use anything toxic. In the past, my dentist would routinely recommend fluoride, which is known to make tooth enamel brittle over time! Instead, both dental cleaning and the more complex issues such as removing an old (and toxic) root canal are handled expertly by Dr. Tanner. In fact, since the root canal was removed and replaced with a non-toxic implant, allergies have disappeared. He is kind, extremely competent, and has a fabulous support staff.

Consistently the best experience I've ever had at a dentist's office. Part of the reason is that things were clearly explained to me like never before, but the main reason is they have inspirational books and placards that they encourage you to take and read. It's the "vibe" that keeps me coming back. It's a heart-centered practice.

Man do I love this place! Dr Tanner and his staff are so kind and welcoming every time I come in for a visit. Dr Tanner gives you all your options, mainstream and holistic, so you can make an informed decision about your own health. It’s how dental (and medical) care should be! Thank you!

I had Dr. Tanner several years ago. Dr. Tanner made a crown for my tooth at his office. I transfered to another dentist and was told that crown was done wrong. I was told to go back to Dr. Tanner to have him replace it. Dr. Tanner did replace it at no cost. That crown also was done wrong and it had a gap between the crown and gum like the first one. The crown was literally falling off. As of July 21, 2020 I had to have that tooth pulled. I feel if that tooth was done properly with the first crown I wouldn't have lost it. I now have to have an implant.

I recently visited Dr Tanner's office and found myself in a truly wonderful environment. Dr Tanner and staff are caring and want to make the dental experience a good one. They don't use products that are harmful to the body and really focus on making people feel comfortable. I highly recommend this office to everyone.
