Do yourself a favor and choose another dental plan if you can. I thoroughly regret choosing Willamette Dental. I needed a replacement filling in my front tooth because was older and I think it was a dental therapist (it wasn’t an actual dentist) that did it originally and then I had to go back because the bite was completely off so I had to go back the next day to get it fixed. Then the filling chipped within a week and a dentist sort of fixed it a week later and then they tried to charge me for that visit! I had to argue with them about charging me, even though it happened immediately. Then within a month, I noticed discoloration and I thought it was a surface stain so I ignored it but it kept getting worse and I realized it was where the tooth met the filling so the filling was not done correctly. I didn’t originally have a problem with a dentist therapist doing it but now after all of this, I wish I hadn’t agreed. I called Willamette and they made a claim and it was denied. This company has zero accountability and I’m going to contact our employer and also file a complaint if I can with them so they are aware. Also, I plan on contacting my HSN and seeing if they can fight for me. Disgusting company.

The Medford Oregon office is outstanding. Good people doing professional work in a clean environment.

Typical dentist experience insult an shame people when we are most vulnerable

I have been to so many different dentists in my life and this was the first time I didn’t feel anxious or stressed during my appointment. The staff were incredibly kind and communicative and always let me know what they were doing. They made a real effort to actually find the best long term solutions rather than jumping to invasive procedures.

They have canceled my mothers apt twice over the phone and have her registered as no show for those two appointments. Not only did they charge her for them but they threatened to suspend her act with them if she didn’t pay for something was their fault! According to their staff, management had decided it was still my mothers fault and went ahead and charged her! If it wasn’t so pressing for her to be seen after being canceled twice, she would have walked out of her third apt that was actually kept! This is not how you treat people! Just horrible service!

Takes forever to get an appointment. Could be months out before you can get appointment. Oh ya and they just raised the missed appointment fee $30 to $50! With no notifications about that.

Horrible dentist office they started a root canal on me and never finished doing it cause they dropped my insurance and now I have a infected tooth 🤬 I wouldn't recommend this place

Sociable, experienced, and professional. They have a welcoming "chairside" manner and they treated with me kindness and respect. My dental procedure went very smoothly and was less intimidating than I had expected thanks to the care and expertise demonstrated by the dental team.

I love Willamette Dental! The people are fantastic and the prices are phenomenal. I hope my workplace always gives me the option to go there for all my dental needs. 😊

While the website says that they have within 48 hours or less appointments for emergency visits, that is not true. First time I called for an emergency appointment I explained that my heavily impacted wisdom tooth has erupted about a week prior and had caused ear pain, numbness, tingling in my face, swelling and heat in the swelled area. They asked if I had "seen my doctor" about it yet as if a doctor would do anything other than tell me to see a dentist. Then asked if they could just schedule me a cleaning in 7 days and check it out then. 7 more days with an infected mouth isn't quite ideal or safe. I had to tell the woman I was infected before she said I could come to the office the next day 2 pm and wait until I could be seen. When I left there, I was referred to an oral surgeon (which was a less than pleasant office) for a removal and prescribed an antibiotic for the infection. Fast forward to today, I have a root canal on a tooth that only has a filling instead of a crown. I had expressed worry about the filling at my last check up and was told there was nothing wrong with it. Today that tooth cracked in half leaving me unable to close my mouth without shoving the half a tooth up into my gums but its not loose enough to pull out on my own. Spoke with an "on call" dentist who is actually not on call other than a phone call that was like talking with someone who had access to the offices schedules, who informed me that the one dentist in the medford office is on vacation and I would have to wait for 5 days to attempt to see a dentist. Grants Pass office is also not open for 4 days. Meanwhile I will not be able to eat and have gauze in my mouth to keep my teeth from touching the broken tooth and causing pain and bleeding in my gums. But I was offered an emergency appointment tomorrow at 7 am in Eugene 3 hours away when an ice storm is rolling in. So basically, I was told all they can do is see me in Jackson or Josephine County in 4 or 5 days. At least it will be a

It takes months to see a dentist, unless its an emergency. At my last appointment, I waited over 45 minutes before I was called back. Willamette Dental sucks and I will be changing my provider next open enrollment!

Poor communication concerning referrals for necessary medical procedures

I just have to say Dr.Wagner is amazing.. I am so scared of going to the dentist but he made me feel so safe and so heard!! He sat next to me and explained everything to me to where I could understand and if I had questions he answered them without making me feel dumb! I recommend him to anyone.. his assistant Christine is amazing as well.. very sweet and kind and caring.. best dental experience I have ever had!!!

Never in my life have I had a worse dental experience than here. I have had a plethora of major dental procedures done throughout my life, root canals, chipped teeth, etc. All I came in for to Willamette was a cavity filling. After MANY attempts at numbing the area, I could still feel extremely sharp pain during the filling and asked them to pause and questioned if we should keep trying this method because I wasn’t sure if I could take anymore numbing at this point either. I was already choking/gagging on my own throat and struggling to breathe I was so numb, I’ve never had so many numbing shots for a procedure in my life, so it’s really puzzling to me how I could still feel such sharp pain on the tooth. After deliberating with the dental assistant I decided to try one last numbing shot, however that never happened because the main dentist had already decided to move on to the next patient and wouldn’t work on me any more. They sent me home with a hole in my tooth (partially drilled cavity) and said they were booked out for the next two months. It’s an absolute joke and just plain unprofessional to do something like that. They decided giving up on me would be easier than figuring out why I was still feeling so much pain. Thanks for leaving me in an even worse condition than when I came in, Willamette Dental. Scum bags.

Kind and caring been going here for few years

I'm a new patient here, and very impressed. All the staff I came across were terrific. The friendliest group of people. Very helpful, attentive, and caring.. they explained everything clearly step by step regarding my treatment. I felt so well cared for. And I finally have a clear treatment plan moving forward.

I was taken care of for a dental emergency by Dr. Le and his Assistant and i couldn’t be happier! They are both very easy to talk to and explain things thoroughly. He was gentle and asked me several times if I was doing ok. Even asked me if the chair was comfortable after he laid it down to start working. It really is the little things. I have anxiety when it comes to dental work and he really set me at ease. I am very happy with the work done and look forward to future appointments with him!
