SmileKrafters - Allentown Dentist

Called for an Emergency Dental Appointment for my son and was told I would get a call back the same day. I was called the next week. Very unprofessional.Also they only have one Orthodontist and he was in the hospital so they had no back up one. It's been 2 months without him getting his braces checked.

How is it possible to book me for a day that the oral surgeon won’t be in? How is this not something the front desk lady’s already know ? Then to cancel one week before my appointment that i waited three months for !! I’m in so much pain and now they want me to wait an additional three months for a mistake they made .

I would 100% NOT recommend going here. I switched jobs and Smilekrafters was one of few the places to accept my new dental insurance. There was a multi-month wait to get in. Went for a cleaning, and they told me I had a cavity and I made an appointment to get it filled. I ended up switching my dental insurance and was able to return to my old dentist of 10+ years and they told me I wasn't even close to having a cavity.

Horrible and long wait for slap in the face, for a long time patient. Find a better place to spend your dental 🪥 money 🤑. Seriously. The REAL ONE

So far I’m very unhappy with this place. I have been waiting for 6 months to have my daughters teeth pulled. The first appointment I missed which is my fault. However I just got a phone call saying they have to push my appointment back even more because their doctor schedule changed. What the heck!!! I asked to be called if there were any cancellations and basically they said I have to call. How am I suppose to know when there is a cancellation!?!?!? My daughter needs these teeth pulled to begin the process of her braces and we have been waiting too long. If I knew it was going to be like this I would have gone somewhere else but I keep giving them more chances. Any other place would have worked with their patients and call to get us in sooner not keep pushing it back longer.

You can never get ahold of anyone actually in the office. It’s the answering service and they forward messages that never get returned. If you leave a message on the actual voice mail it never gets returned. You sit in the waiting room for up to 2 hours. Then when you get to an appointment? They say the doctor had an emergency and had to leave. We need to reschedule. I ask what to do about the tooth pain and abscess in the meanwhile… well you can go to the ER.

Julia the hygienist was awesome! She was so professional and polite, she explained everything she did on my teeth. I genuinely had a great experience.

I Had a cleaning done and two cavities filled. Sally Ann was my hygienist and did a wonderfull job cleaning my teeth and explaining everything. They did a great job, but more importantly was the mix up with my appointment that the receptionist handled for me. I cant recall her name but THANK YOU! I drove over an hour because i couldn't get an appointment in my area and they cleaned my teeth and filled two cavities while I was there! overall great place.

Poor customer service, these people asked me to leave my number and they will call me back to set up an appointment for my son, even though it was an emergency, they never call or whatever, they really need to grow up and be professionals, they behave as if they’re in zoo

My hygienist was Sally Ann. She was so nice and made me feel so comfortable. She let me know exactly what she was doing and how it was going to feel. She gave me lots of information and made me feel motivated to come back and continue seeing her. Doctor was brief didn’t get to know him but she was amazing !

#1 for the absolute worst staff ever. ABSOLUTELY NO PROFESSIONALISM. Always takes 5 months to get an available appointment for anything ortho, children, regular dental. They’re 100% undertrained because even though I’ve been coming here consistently for 6 years they still manage to get my wrong info-on top of that keep canceling my appointments even tho I give them the correct info to contact me. They still do not get it right and always cancel my appointments without my knowledge until I show up to the office. Sincerely am looking for a new dentist cuz I’m over their bs.

trash, absolute trash. no organization, no customer service, all of the receptionist seem like they can’t even spell their own names

This is the worst dentist ever from regular cleaning to orthodontist. No customer service very rude. Won't recommend this place.

She is very kind and helpful with production my daughter needs

Came today for my daughter to get her checkup since she’s 13. Ms. Sally-Ann was very kind natured, she was very sweet when talking to my daughter as well as very reassuring. She made sure everything was looked over especially since my daughter doesn’t have some of her adult teeth under her primary teeth. They made me and my daughter feel very welcomed and would totally recommend to my family and friends.

I drove over 40 minutes, waited 50 minutes in the waiting room, just for them to tell me the dentist “went home early” I made the appointment THREE MONTHS in advance because it was the soonest they’d be able to see me, just for the dentist to go home early? Are you serious?? They tried to reschedule me for the next day but like most normal people, I have a job. A job I took off of specifically for this reason months in advance and cannot just take off again on such short notice. They decide to “squeeze me in” which was honestly a waste of time. The hygienist asks if I want a teeth cleaning, I say yes. He takes maybe three minutes to actually look at my teeth before telling me I can go home and handing me a referral for somewhere else without ever cleaning my teeth. So in total I wasted almost 2 hours, after waiting for this appointment for three months. Horrible experience.

I’m taking the time to provide positive feedback for Sally Ann, a Dental Hygienist at SmileKrafters, Allentown, PA. We have been visiting Smilekrafters for around 10 years. A few days ago we went there for our dental cleanings and I was very impressed with Sally Ann, not only because she gave me one of the best dental cleanings ever, but because she was extremely efficiently, caring, and a true professional. She was meticulous in every detail to include updating my file and dental records. This type of personalized and efficient service is hard to find these days. Because of employees like her, we are choosing SmileKrafters for all of our dental needs. Keep up the excellent work!

I was very impressed with Julia during my visit last week. She made me feel extremely comfortable,considering I haven't been to the dentist in quite some time. Julia, REMOVED tartar, stains, and plaque from my teeth. Took X-rays while explaining everything step by step. She's just AMAZING!! SmileKrafters, this staff member made my visit most enjoyable. I would recommend scheduling with Julia 100%.

Got a filling done here about a year ago and it already fell out. That’s ridiculous— now I need to get it fixed and pay somewhere else
