Advanced Dentistry of Collegeville

Went in for a routine cleaning. Left with a $700 bill which really shocked me. I was told that my Insurance Company would reimburse me. Reason being they were no longer participating with my insurance. After months of waiting to be reimbursed, I reached out to my insurance company. My insurance company had paid the claim to Dr. Silva and also stated they were in the Network. Red flags or bells should have went off because I've always had dental insurance and never paid that amount of $$$ for dental coverage. I was able to recoup some of the $$ paid to the practice, but it took many calls to Brandy to actually get the funds. I am a business person myself and this is not my way of doing business. Therefore, I will definitely be seeking my Dental care elsewhere. It's very unfortunate, I was really looking forward to supporting Advanced Dentistry of Collegeville.

5/5 stars. Advanced Dentistry of Collegeville is great! I began my Invisalign treatment here and the entire staff especially Geri & Brandi, have been nothing short of wonderful. So excited to see my new smile!

I have been going to Dr. Silva for the past 5 plus years. Her office and staff are so kind and helpful. Dr Silva has state of the art treatments. She treated my sleep apnea and is treating my brother who has multiple disabilities with Night laser apnea treatment. We are so happy to find a treatment that is noninvasive and doesn't require a c pap mask. The whole team is always friendly and make you feel right at home. Especially Brandi! I can't recommend them enough!

This office was absolutely horrible to deal with. My husband and I went on different days and we were both charged for services that were never done. That is a Huge red flag!!! I feel terrible for the patients that don't understand how to read their dental claims. When calling the office to have them send a corrective claim to the insurance company, they were extremely rude and difficult to deal with. The lady refused to send the corrective claim with the right code to the insurance company for the pictures that were taken on my husband. They billed out for a full set of X-rays (D0210) that were never taken, so now the insurance company won't cover another set for three years. What they did take was a 2D oral/facial photographic images, which the code is (D0350). Also when I went in for my cleaning I had to tell the Hygienist she forgot to clean the lower right quadrant and my upper front teeth, that is not high end dentistry if you ask me, then the dentist came in to do my exam and with out even looking at X-rays she wanted to crown all my back molars. The funny thing is she wanted to do the same on my husband. Being in the dental field for over 25 years, it shocked me that practices like this stay in practice. There were a ton of RED FLAGS with this Pratice!! I would stay far away from this place!

I found Dr. Silva on Google when I was new to the Collegeville area and looking for a dentist. Boy did I luck up! Dr. Silva is compassionate and extremely knowledgeable and her office is equipped with all the latest technology. I appreciate that she takes the time to talk to her patients and answer questions and does not push you off on a hygenist. The staff is also awesome and works to accomadate difficult schedules and deals with all the dental insurance issues. Very nice office, very wonderful dentist. Dr. Nelly and her staff are nice. They provide nice music to listen to while your procedure is getting done and take the time to make sure all of your needs are met with a smile.

I quickly felt part of the family with personalized greetings and sharing in the fun.The office is efficient, appointments keep to their time allotment without ever feeling rushed, and they are the invariably on the cutting edge of the science and art of dental care. I was scheduled a month ago for my appointment. And I get a text while on my way to the center that they cancelled my appointment because the doctor had some meeting. They give me a date almost 30 days later. I asked if I could get date sooner and their reply was she is seeing other patients and we are busy. Wait! So your doctor cancels and does not take any responsibility to schedule next day or next week! Basically they don’t care if you are in waiting line. They can cancel your appointment for any simple reason. I’d like to request the management to look into this issue before many others get let down.

I love advanced dentistry they are so thorough very professional and a lot of fun at the same time. They care about the health of your teeth and gums. They explain in detail everything that you need to have done for your teeth, and I like that. I trust them and their advice. And I actually look forward to going to the Dentist.

My family has been coming here for 12 years and we don't have plans to change that at all. The Team are very friendly and nice, Dr Nelly is the best. Thank God for you guys, my family's dental hygiene is in great hands.

I rarely give 1 star review but they deserve it well. I have lived in Texas, California and recently moved here and gave this place a shot. I have never experienced similar dental service like this. They tried to convince me I built up so much tartar from my last cleaning and need to have a new type of cleaning (not deep cleaning) that would not be covered under normal cleaning. The lady tried so hard to punch my gum line to measure deeper pocket depth with only 2 teeth came 4 and 5, all the others are just 1 and 2. And guess what, my gum started to bleed right away and it still hurts after 2 hours. After I got out, I found my last dental appointment was on 10/15/2020, while what they told me sounds like I went to the place in 2019. I directly went back and gave an update to my previous 5 star review for that dentist to further compliment his awesome service. Update: I went to Providence Dental Center 3 months after this due to they have a long backlog, professional service and highly recomend! Def worth the waiting!

I was going to be a new patient but they told me I didn’t have dental insurance. I have Aetna PPO all they needed was my ss# that I gave them 3 times in the new patient paperwork and my birthday. They obviously do not know about the insurance they take. Checked with my HR I have dental insurance. I will find a closer dentist. Now I know.

First of all, in my opinion, you CANNOT visit this place and have a bad experience unless you are just determined to have one. The atmosphere at Advanced Dentistry was calming and positive. Although, I never had a bad experience at my former dentist, this visit was, by far, thee best experience I’ve had in a looooong time, at a dental office! The staff is extremely friendly, professional, and accommodating. Dr. Nelly has such a great bedside manner. (I wonder if that term is appropriate for DDSs 🤔 or is it only reserved for MDs…I’m digressing but I’m using it because it’s true). Anyhoo, Dr. Nelly is extremely knowledgeable and confident in her field. Delia, (I hope I spelled that correctly), her assistant, did a thorough X-ray exam and checked to made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Dr. Nelly came in, examined, and cleaned my teeth. She also gave me valuable insight, information, and advice on the symptoms with which I have been experiencing, explained the possible reasons why, in plain English, answered all of my questions, and gave me a recommendation to a specialist that she believes can help me. I felt well taken care of and treated like a person instead of a healthcare plan. I will definitely be returning for my 6 month follow-up appointment.
