The dental industry is way out of wack and needs revision. $3000 for one dental post for a new tooth so you don't look like a hillbilly that most insurance does not cover!!! Seems way out of wack! Lots O' Money or nothing!!! I'm going through my birthday with a hole in my face!!

Best dentist around! I have severe anxiety about going to the dentist. From the moment I first walked in I felt comfortable. Never felt judged and was assured I’d be taken care of. Dr. Is very kind and helpful and the staff I can’t say enough about. Now I have a beautiful smile and my whole family goes here. Best dentist hands down. Great with kids to.

Love, love, love my experience here and the people who make it all possible! I have never been keen on visiting a dentist and have waited until something hurts or is wrong before going. (Perhaps it is lying there with my mouth wide open, light as bright as the sun in my eyes, and another person's hands in my cake hole that turns me off). THAT WAS NOT THE CASE HERE! In my usual fashion, I made an appointment only because a cutpurse Charms Sugar Daddy made off with my crown. It was my first time there and I was nervous. From the moment I walked in the door, the anxiety began melting away. The office runs like a well oiled machine because it is staffed with amazing people who greatly care for their patients and enjoy their chosen profession. It is always exceptionally clean and smells great. Umerich Jr and Beth were professional, understanding, kind, and considerate. I was relieved to be in such capable hands. I had several more appointments and each experience was just as perfect as the one before. I had several fillings done (for shame on my part) and a crown. I will be going back for another and highly recommend Umerich Dentistry to any and everyone!!!

Patient with their patients, understanding, gentle, and honest! I had a cleaning and cavity filled recently and while there I inquired about getting my teeth whitened and surprisingly the dentist said it would be hard to get my teeth whiter than they already are. I am sure there are other dentists in the area who would have gladly let me waste my money on a product that wouldn't have helped me to much. I appreciated him being honest with me about my options. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a new dentist!

I started going here when I broke a tooth and have stayed. They respond quickly to both emergencies and routine needs, explain well, and are transparent about options and costs. They indeed are a family practice in every sense of the word.

I've been a patient of Dr. Umerich's for over 20 yrs. So when my friend had an issue with a painful molar that he couldn't get removed for 3 weeks, I figured I'd give Doc a call to see if they could help him out. Right from the first call, they were willing to do whatever they could to help him. I put them in contact with each other and Doc Jr. was able to get him in and resolve his issue within a few hours. NEVER have I EVER had someone thank me so much for a dentist visit!! My friend was SO happy to be relieved of the pain. I want to personally thank and recommend Doc Umerich, Doc Umerich Jr and the entire staff for not only helping out a friend of mine but also going the extra mile at the request of a current patient!!! I cannot give them a rating high enough. You all are the BEST!!!! Thank You!!!

First hand review. I've been going to doctor umerich for 25 plus years. He has helped me countless times even emergency after hours procedures when my 11 year old cracked her front tooth he took her in bonded the tooth and it's as good as new. This is a family run business located in Dickson City. Father and son both dentist. I feel as though you get the experience along with the latest in technology there. They strive to keep us safe from covid with wearing gloves and masks at all times. If you want a dentist that is cleanly and professional this is the place for you.

Completely unprofessional and discourteous! I had a payment arrangement and offered to pay half today so that they would see my daughter. My daughter has a loose permanent tooth and is worried about it during Christmas time. As many families I've been impacted by covid and things have been a struggle. All this office cares about is $$ and not about patient care. Pretty sure the doctor at this practice last name should be Scrooge considering the timing. Using words like intelligence are just being condescending and uncalled for. Do not recommend! Update: We have to wait over a week now due to your incompetence by scheduling an appointment you didn't keep for my daughter. Her tooth is very loose and you wouldn't see her. I'll be reporting you to the necessary governing bodies due to this.

Dr. Umerich is a great dentist and his staff makes your dental experience enjoyable. Very personable and great dentistry. What more can you ask for?

Dr. Umerich and his staff create a welcoming environment and make your dental experience a pleasant one. They do their best to accommodate you as soon as possible and even come in during after hours if needed. You can tell they value your oral health and put their patients first. Would highly recommend!

I wish I could give them less than 1 star. My boyfriend went to have a tooth extracted and was not listened to when he said the amount of novocaine was not enough. They proceeded to start removing his tooth without informing him after rushing to have him sign a paper saying he can not sue them and excused him from the office once he started crying from pain as to "not scare other patients" (hes a grown man so youd think they'd take the fact he was crying a little more seriously.) He was kicked out with his tooth halfway out of his mouth and told to handle phone calls with an oral surgeon himself. How any dentist could go about an appointment the way they did is beyond me but we 100% will not be returning back. Edit- should also add that he was not given any strong ibuprofen prescription before being kicked out which I was surprised about considering they ripped his tooth halfway out. He was in a large amount of pain before going there and they did nothing but make it worse. Every negative comment I've seen they've responded very defensive and saying the commenter is wrong but I am witness to what my boyfriend had to go through and it was very unprofessional and unacceptable. Please do not practice dentistry if you dont truly care about your patient's comfort and wellbeing.

Michael Jr. is the epitome of a Dentist that does not listen to his patients. He could barely hold eye contact for more than a second. I went there for a replacement appliance and get a cleaning. I brought in my X-Rays, he cleaned my teeth and next visit took the mold. He never gave me a treatment plan of what work he thought I needed done. I called when I received the acceptance letter. Now keep in mind I had nothing to wear in mouth for months and that was the main reason I went there. He said I need to fill 2 cavities??? Never mentioned that my front tooth and adjacent tooth had cavities... I told him I was not feeling well and did not want to do the work that day to just send the mold to lab so I had something wear. He refused to send the mold to the lab unless I agreed to the work. This was a plastic appliance not anchored to any teeth just a temporary cosmetic replacement. To deny to fill a mold because I didn't do what he wanted me to do is just arrogant and mean spirited. The problem with Healthcare today is that Doctors and Dentists some how forget that this is our health and our bodies and they have no right whatsoever to dictate what decisions to make concerning our health. They forget they work for us. After him telling me to find another Dentist ( very professional ) that is exactly what I did. And not to my surprise I do not have cavities in my front tooth or any other teeth. So I will work with a professional Dentist get my appliance and get a crown on my back . So obviously I would not recommend Michael Umerich Jr. unless you want to spoken down to and treated like an uneducated consumer.

I've been to many dentist over the years but I've finally found the best one, Dr Umerich Is a true professional. He has done wonders for me. he is a magician in his profession. Now his son Michael has joined the practice, with what he's learned in school and learning from his father I'm sure he has a great future. I'm glad to have such a great dentist
