Please don't go here. It's not worth it. I have been going here for 10 years. As of today I offically left the office. All 5 members of my family were going here. This place has canceled my last 3 cleanings for my entire family. It's over a year now on cleanings. I'm having a problem with one of my fillings and the closet time they could get me in was 3 weeks away. This was after calling daily for 2 weeks leaving multiple messages with no call back. It's extremely hard to get ahold of them. Different dentist almost everytime I have went. This place has gone downhill within the past 3 years. Take my warning and go to a different dentist. They don't care about their patients.

Hands down the worst dental practice! They cancel appointments on you. The ones they keep I waited over 2 hours past my appointment time. To just to be put into a chair. Any dental work I have had there by any of the dentist has caused more damage to teeth that has to be repaired somewhere else. Dirty, late and incapable. Lost or incomplete dental records. He literally couldn’t find the dental hygienist assistant and then told me she would be right there she was cleaning the bathroom. And now you want to put your hands anywhere near my mouth?!?

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I recently scheduled my husband an appointment at this location and I was far from impressed. His appointment was at 6pm, arrived early and by 6:30 we had not even been given his paper work. The waiting room was full of people, some of which had been waiting since 4 pm. One of the hygienist came out and was very rude to a kid asking a question. When she was asked to repeat herself she rolled her eyes and just repeated herself even faster. Nobody understood what she said, let alone a kid. We didn’t even stay and wait, because who knew how long he would have had to wait for an EMERGENCY APPOINTMENT

Like everyone else I wish I could give them a zero star. You wait for an hour and a half thinking you're going to get an exam and cleaning. But they tell you no just an exam I've never been to a place where you don't get both on your first time the lady on the phone should have told me this I did not want to waste my time. As many other have stated if I could give then a negative number I would. The last straw for me was when the 3 reschedule of an appointment was canceled via text. If you can obtain an appointment the wait time is minium an hour past the time scheduled. We also utilized this office for orthodontistry and that was even more difficult to schedule. My daughter's appointment was set for April and after over 4 phone calls and an attempt to use their online platform, the appt was finally set for the end of August. I was unaware that the appointment was even set until I received a reminder a day prior to the appointment. As repeat patients I was shocked that the dentist did not know any past history on either of my children. Making a suggesting that my daughter be seen by an orthodontist. We were already seeing "their" orthodontist for over 8 months. Highly do not recommend this office.

I got super sick after my last appointment I brought my expander in from my braces to get put back in they didn’t wash or sterilize it just put back in my mouth and caused me to get really sick

They are always late as much to an hour and a half. Their staff is very rude. They never answer their phone and rarely reply back to voice mails. I do NOT recommend this dentist after having my teeth all pulled our, getting temp dentures and then regular dentures.

I wish I could give them a zero. Because they deserve it. I went there to get my teeth cleaned and after waiting over an hour some people wait longer about two hours and am getting my teeth cleaned by this hygienist She does not do a good job of cleaning my teeth, keeps splashing me with the water gun and does not apologize and then also touched a nerve on my tooth I jumped in pain and again no apology. And on top of all that she criticizes my weight. The office is a very small room and she was having difficulty moving about in the small space so I told her perhaps you guys need to get a bigger room and she stated Well perhaps but maybe because we are both so fat that I cannot get around in this room. I was so appalled and shocked about the insult that I immediately texted my fiancé' while still sitting in the chair. After my exam , I reported her to the office manager and she appeared shocked but made no attempt for this hygienist to apologize to me on the spot while still on the premises. Rather than insisting this hygienist apologize to me she tried to offer me a gift card which I declined. I was a patient at this office prior to them merging with another office and there was never any issue. Before she tried to offer me a gift card she should have insisted that the hygienist provide me with a formal apology before leaving the location. Because of this experience I will never feel comfortable receiving any type of dental services at any of The Steel City Dental Associates locations. Therefore, I would not recommend Steel City Dental Associates to anyone.

Steel City dental was great during my service. Very personable and most of all they cared 100% of solving my issues. The work that needed done they were unable to do but the dentist did some things to make me feel comfortable and the office manager did not let me leave until I she got me an appointment with the endodontist the next day. She knew how much pain I was in and was determined to help me out. Thanks to pittsburgh endodontist in monroeville for taking me and getting me fixed up. Thanks Heather from Steel City dental you have my whole family now.

If I could have given zero stars, I would have. Not sure why they are still in business. But I am soooo glad that my daughter dodged a bullet and didn't get her wisdom teeth pulled here. The staff is so mean, nasty and rude. Office is cluttered and disorganized, They sent in the wrong insurance code on the billing and was very mean and nasty about it. Going to the dentist is a very traumatic experience as it is and to have to deal with all this confusion and ghettoness. YES!!! ghettoness! This is what you will be dealing with when you go there.

Rude, rough, reckless. If you're about that "get in, get out" and sick of all the hustle and bustle of care and professionalism, this is your spot! I'm ashamed I let these clowns clean my wife's teeth, but the mistake will be learned from. People please take these reviews seriously. If they are majority 5 star and 1 star, the 5 stars are horsesh*t, and the 1 stars are a bit too generous. But do what you're going to do, just know you've been warned.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I had a root canal on a tooth they told me had an abscess. I was in severe pain and after multiple calls to the office and text messages to a number they provided for emergencies I got no response for antibiotics and pain meds. Also they do the opposite of what they tell you and did all the work they could get paid for that hadn’t been used from my insurance.
