Love the staff. Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Casey takes time to explain everything before the procedure. My whole family uses this dentist. Would highly recommend this office to everyone.

I am extremely fearful of dentist. I'm NOT even kidding. I have to take pills just to calm me enough to get into the car to go there and walk into the office. I'm so bad my sister makes herself go so I won't turn and run like I have so many times. Casey Dental is not like others. My dentist was so in tune with my paranoia that she actually made me feel at ease. Not saying that Xanax didn't help but I would refer anyone to this practice. I travel 1.5 hours to come here. Well worth my sanity.

I have had the worst experience with Casey Dental… I have had an appointment scheduled since last year, and waited months for my appointment to be cancelled the morning of my appointment to get my impacted wisdom teeth removed. Spoke to a lady in the office who was truly so rude and unprofessional. Telling me they no longer took my secondary insurance, ultimately cancelling my appointment the day of. When asked what the copay would be for my primary insurance, and recieved no response… she told me I wouldn’t be able to come in today for my appointment. I am completely unsatisfied with this establishment and would never recommend this place to anyone.

Took my daughter to Casey Dental Oral Surgey office for extraction of her wisdom teeth and couldn’t have been more pleased with the staff and Dr. Atikinson. Very accommodating, kind and thorough. Great experience from start to finish.

Have brought my kids to a Scranton office many years ago and had a terrible experience… My 4 children have been coming here since that situation and I love it! The drive stinks but it’s worth knowing my kids are under great care!

I had a tooth pulled last Thursday. It went perfectly. Little to no pain in the days after. I think you guys did a fantastic job. I wanted to express my gratitude. Thank you.

We loved it here until they told me my 5 year old had cavities. They don't allow parents to accompany kids over 3, which was uncomfortable at first but my daughter agreed to it and she came back happy. After our last visit they told me she had cavities and explained how they fix them, which includes nitrous oxide. I asked if they would allow a parent to accompany her during the procedure and was told no. After a few more questions, I left feeling like I was the crazy one. After speaking with other parents and providers, I was assured that I'm not the crazy one. I called and asked if they would reconsider a parent being present. Once again, I was told no. I'm not thrilled about having to find dental care elsewhere since my daughter was so happy here but, Covid or not, drugging a kid without a parent present is absurd.

I can only say what a wonderful experience I have each and every time I go to there office for work. Shaun Casey is the best dentist I have ever had and my hygienist, Amy…is so good it is a joy to get my teeth clean. I am 72 years of age and have been to many offices in all these years and this one is the best ever and I have been coming here for many years.

Dr. Casey has been my dentist for about 30 years now. If you need a dentist, he is the one you need to call. Great guy, excellent dentist!

This is the preferred provider for dental services in the Greater Pittston Area and probably even a wider geography. The office is extremely efficient, very clean and professional. The providers have each patient's best whole health in mind, not just a focus on their dental issues of the moment. All visits, even minor, start with a history review. All questions are completely answered. I'm very aware of my dental health and care on a daily basis, but the minute I have a need other than a routine cleaning, it's great to have a trusted dentist available. Definitely recommend for all ages.

I live in Florida, but still visit Casey Dental. The staff accommodates me on getting me in for a check up and cleaning in a few days notice. I am grateful.

Honestly I have to say this place is absolutely amazing!! I wish I could give 100 stars because the staff, the facility itself, and just everyone all around was so great. They are super clean, accommodating, kind, friendly, welcoming, and so gentle with children. They literally made my kids feel so comfortable. My kids were not scared at all when they had to have their teeth extracted. Of course I was extremely nervous about having my 4 & 5 year old under general anesthesia but they put my mind at ease and reassured me my children would be safe and taken care of and receive the utmost professional care. I cannot thank Casey dental enough for making the procedures my children had feel like just taking a nap. They also checked in the next day to make sure they were doing alright. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Casey dental really is the best place to have your children be taken care of for any oral treatment!!

I don't like to give 1 stars but today 9.28.21 I call first things in morning and the girls that pick up the phone hung up on me ..that was so rude 😒..

Best dentist ever! My daughter went to a different dentist before. when covid hit they stopped allowing parents back with the kids- which will never work for me! Not only does my daughter have special needs, she also has a lot of anxiety, and I just don’t trust people in general, all that mixed together equals= not happening! She had an urgent problem last year, the last dentist wouldn’t allow me in under any circumstance, and I needed a dentist to get her out of pain since she couldn’t even eat. I was about to pay out of pocket at one I found when I got a call back from Casey dental squeezing her in the following day & it was love at first visit lol! They scheduled her to get the tooth taken out a few weeks after her emergency appointment (I’m calling it that). At the last dentist she was still hiding under the table when she was going for 3 years and had check ups every 3 months! This is no shade to the last dentist, I don’t like tearing someone down to build someone up, it’s just important in explaining why this dentist is amazing, the last were super sweet too, just didn’t work for us and I had no idea dentist appointments would ever be stress free. They were able to earn her trust after just one appointment, they don’t force her to do anything and I think that’s the magic touch. Her first check up after her procedure she walked right in, laid down & opened her mouth! They were even able to get some X-rays. I smile the entire time she’s being seen because they’re just so good with her and she feels so comfortable, and iiii feel comfortable knowing my baby isn’t stressed or terrified! At her most recent check up they found a small issue and gave me 3 different options, which as a parent I like, they’re not saying “you have to do this!” They’re saying “ we can do this, this, or that, whatever you’re comfortable with”. Tried to get my special needs daughter in and switch to have work done that is needed. She is special needs and doesn’t cooperate with a regular family dentist. They declined seeing her because I was able to physically carry her into another dental office. Why have a special needs dept if you don’t take on the patients that need them

My kids love this place, it’s clean the staff is very friendly and accommodating. They treat the kids very nice they’re gentle. Both my boys love it here and don’t wanna change their dentist. I truly recommend them for your kids you’ll have a comfortable relaxing visit with your kid and they’ll be happy, they will want to return.
