Everyone was helpful, friendly and professional. There was very little waiting around. I appreciated the service.

I went here expecting to set up a second appt to have a crown placed on my broken tooth. I informed them that this was the reason for my visit. Instead, the dentist looked at the x-ray and immediately said "No. This tooth has to come out". There was no gentle conversation about why he felt he couldn't place a crown on it in order to save my tooth. He could have shown a little more compassion or even have tried to fake a small level of understanding that this was not the news I was prepared to hear. I waited over an hour after I checked in for him to see me. And then he only said a few sentences to me. Other than that, the staff was friendly. You can tell they were a little rushed to get through with each patient. But that's probably everywhere these days.

As always I had a great experience at Aspen Dental in State College. The staff is always professional, efficient and at the same time warm and caring. I have never had a bad experience there in the six years I have been going there. Highly recommended!

It was awesome experience! As a new patient, I got the appointment very day next after calling them. This was very fast and doctors are very good. I recommend this practice highly.

Not recommended at all. They overcharge you for everything. I had to call them multiple times to get my refund. The cleaning was 100% covered by my insurance but they charged me $200!

Great experience!!!i had an extraction. I’m uninsured and had to get an extraction. The doctor worked with me the most affordable plan without pushing unnecessary procedures Unlike my previous doctor that add up unexpectedly procedures without talking about the cost. This office was very friendly, very upfront in regards to cost, the dental hygienist and the dentist answered all of our questions, very professional. I’m very thankful to all the team! I will continue my dental work with Aspen Dental and will recommend your office to my friends, family and whoever needs quality dental work.

College students please avoid this place. I went in as a new patient just a couple weeks ago. I thought all was going well until the dentist assistant took one look at my gums and said I had gingivitis. I have not changed my dental routine in years and not once has my previous dentist given me that diagnosis. They may have had a reason to give me this diagnosis, but what they did next was completely unacceptable. They were going to charge me for the gingivitis treatment two weeks BEFORE I was given the treatment. This was not covered by my insurance and I was lured into giving them a large sum of money before I was given the treatment. Luckily, I did not follow through with the payment or treatment. If you are insistent on going here, then at least please try to pay them AFTER your treatment. This is a very predatory practice and I should have never scheduled an appointment with them in the first place.
