Actually a one star rating is not low enough. I had been a loyal dental customer of Prairie Winds for several years. Recently, I needed a crown according to both dentists. The work was completed after I pre-paid for the cost of making the crown. This wasn’t necessary for my two previous crowns so I was surprised. Following the crown placement, I expressed concern about the crown being sensitive at my next two routine cleaning appointments, I was told to use a tooth paste for sensitive teeth!! The dentist said sometimes that helps. And maybe I should see a dentist in Sioux Falls, which I finally did! I ended up having to have the tooth surgically removed!! The Sioux Falls dentist was surprised “anyone would have tried to save the tooth”. Needless to say this mess cost me more than twice the cost of the original crown. I’m retired so the cost was mostly out of pocket, too! A very expensive lesson!

Took my 2 youngest kiddos there for their first dentist appointment. My 4 year old was pretty nervous and unsure when we first got there.by the end he said he loves the dentist. They were great! Def work the little over an hour drive to get here!!!!

Made an appointment to get a second opinion/quote on a root canal. Not only were they WAY cheaper then what I was quoted elsewhere, but all around the staff and experience was great!! Very informative and kind.

Dr. Scholtz is the most caring and professional dentist I have ever been to. She listened to all of my concerns and gave me options for my dental care. I would recommend this office for anyone looking for dental care in the area.

This dentist is horrible. To make an appointment for a crown I was told it would take two months. When I went in the staff was rude. I paid my bill in full that day only to receive a bill for "missed charges" in the mail two weeks later after having a bill from the procedure that said "paid in full". I would never go there again or recommend them to anyone.

Absolute worst dentist to possibly go to. Everyone is rude non of them have any customer service skills to save their lives. I'd suggest going elsewhere unless it's an absolute emergency.
