Dr. Meg and her staff are all absolutely amazing! I've had some horrible experiences with other dentists in the area but Dr. Meg is excellent at what she does. She doesn't try to talk you into unnecessary procedures and she is the first to let you know if you need to see a specialist and explains why. She and her staff do their best to make you feel comfortable in what can sometimes be uncomfortable experiences. I just had to have a 20-year-old crown replaced and was able to have everything done in one visit since she has her own lab on the premises. It was a great experience and the crown fit perfectly! Everyone in the office is friendly and professional. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my dental needs.

I am so Thankful when we moved to this area that I found Dr. Beckwith and her amazing staff. I am in my 60's and have been to many dentist offices and this clinic is the most Professional and Caring office I have ever been to. We have been going there for two years now with many difficult dental issues and I have always felt like I was their top priority. I have also worked in the medical field for 28 years and I know professionalism and a staff that really care about their patients. The last visit I was there I also got to see little ones excited about their dental appointments too. I believe everyone who walks through the door of this clinic feels confident and well cared for from the entire staff . I highly recommend this clinic and would give it 10 stars if I could . Awesome vist

Today is Feb 1st, the website associated with this practice says they handle dental emergencies. On our first call we were informed they can schedule us for the 14th. On our follow up after calling around this was changed to may. The reason for the change is that we would have been first time patients. I dont know about you but that is a long time to be dealing with tooth pain when your site advertises emergency services.

Wow! I had a great appointment with the dentist a few months ago. I let her know about a recurring issue with a tooth and she was concerned about it and said that the next time it happens that I should get it taken care of by a specialist instead of just the normal antibiotic route. Well, I am now in another state (which we knew might happen) and the issue has popped up again, instead of going the antibiotic route as usual, I attempted to follow her advice, but I didn’t know what specialist to go to. So yesterday morning, in excruciating pain, I called the office and the woman said she would “talk to the clinicians and get back to me.” She knew I was in pain. I received a call just now (30 hours later) and the woman first told me that I left a message so I corrected her that I talked to a live person. “Well, I wasn’t here yesterday and I just got the message.” So I explain that I talked to someone directly about my pain and let her know that it took them 30 hours just to call me back and tell me to go to just a general dentist (opposite of what I was told in the summer). “Well, if you were here we could recommend somebody to you.” (Facepalm.) I wasn’t looking for a South Dakota recommendation, I just needed to know if I was supposed to find an oral surgeon or an endodontist or what. When I mention about the pain and taking so long to get back to me, she said that I could’ve called again this morning instead of being in pain and that I should go to the emergency room for antibiotics. The doctor and I literally had agreed that the next time this happened I would go to a specialist and not just try to fix the infection with antibiotics. Do you see the circular nature of our conversation here? At which point, I just told her goodbye and hung up. What a bummer to find what you think is a great dentist and then have to deal with the incompetence of multiple staff members that don’t actually care about the clients at all. No responsibility taken, no apologie

Was hoping I could get a broken tooth taken care of after reading review saying they got right in and got it fixed, unfortunately didn't get the same result

Wonderful friendly place of business!

LOVE this place. This is the first time in my life that I have found a dentist that I'm not afraid to go to. The women here actually care about you, your dental health, and your finances. When I started to get anxious during a procedure, they offered laughing gas at no charge and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable before proceeding. And when work needs to be done, they give you recommendations and cost estimates and then ask YOUR opinion about how you want to proceed. I also love that they check insurance balances and try to make it work for you in the best way. They are also fantastic with my children, making sure they have a positive dental experience. I could not be happier to have found Sturgis Smiles. I'm so thankful I found something better than what I had settled for in the past.
