Took my 5 year old in for a cleaning. Found a suspicious spot. Ben wasn’t there. So have to reschedule to come back and have him look at it. Decide a plan. And then reschedule to have it fixed. Dentist should be in building while cleaning are done. My time was wasted!!

My visit was very good. My exam went well and timely. The entire staff treated me well and explained everything in detail. Everyone was pleasant.

I understand having policies in place when people miss their appointments and requiring a 24 hour notice to cancel. However, when you have a patient that’s 9 months pregnant and they miss their Monday morning appointment (obviously not open on Sunday to cancel even if they knew) because they needed to go in and be seen regarding said pregnancy, maybe DONT kick them and their 6 year old daughter to the curb? I’d say it’s a little ridiculous to not make an exception in certain circumstances and truly just shows how little you care about your patients. We will happily find a new dentist when this is how you handle your business. I’m just happy we didn’t go there for long before the true colors came out.

My son is 17 months had his first visit with Dr. Jensen. I feel that the dental hygienist was amazing my son loves to brush his teeth so she got him a brush and was assisting him with the brush. Well poor Jensen didn’t have the luck that lady did. my son was not for him looking at his teeth with his mirror so clamp his mouth shut Jensen left it at that so they didn’t traumatize the first time experience. How ever than Jensen also started to play with and help my son with brushing his teeth. My son didn’t want to leave the office

Would be great if he didn't put so many people into the rooms that he can't get back to you to do his job would be great if they could accept the mistakes as their own instead of passing them off as oh it's your bite Don't fill your rooms so full of people And try to make all that money in A-day and maybe you wouldn't have to rename the people that you've already got in your rooms because you accepted a procedure or got into a procedure that took longer than you expected But now you have to read my mouth because you didn't get back to me in time

I don't like the new policy In place I will be transferring to Yankton Family Dentistry.

Very friendly, welcoming, and very efficient. I have now done 2 crowns and they are fast but careful. They are an amazing staff 💖💖

My Dental Hygienist was exceptionally thorough and patient with me during my regularly scheduled cleaning appointment and Dr. Ben Jensen took the time to look over my x-rays to explain to me what I will need to have done in the future. Both receptionists were informative, courteous and genuinely caring individuals. I highly recommend Ben Jensen Dental.

The doctor and staff are always friendly and informative. They treated my 6yr old son wonderfully and he actually enjoyed getting his teeth cleaned.

I was not pleased with the lack of care that occurred during my young daughters visit to Ben Jensen Dental. We had come here previously with no issue. Ben Jensen himself is an amazing dentist. However his staff that are supposed to help with pain, numbing, and patient care were unprofessional and unwilling to offer alternative solutions to help her calm down enough to actually receive care. The assistant also refused to continue the appointment, and got up in the middle of our appointment and did not return to the room to explain what was going on. I will not be coming back, and will not recommend being seen here if you have young children.
