Chose this clinic due to their ratings and being in my insurance network and I am so glad I did! I needed an appointment for a broken tooth, sent an email and received a call to book the appointment very shortly after sending the email, then the tooth started hurting worse so I made a call to the office and they accommodated me by working me in the very same day. Everyone was so pleasant and treated me as if I had been their patient all my life. I was given a root canal and I will brag on Dr. Emalie and Chyanne those two ladies were so gentle and caring and the procedure was painless and comfortable. At the check out Monte was so wonderful to work with, she made sure everything was in order with my insurance by calling them and walked me through the payment options. This office absolutely cares about each individual and you leave feeling like you were heard and taken care of! Thank each one of you for helping my smile!

This was my first visit here today, just to get established along with getting my teeth cleaned. I’ve had anxiety about being an adult and actually scheduling my dentist appointments the past few years. It was super easy to schedule the appointment and all of the staff were so nice. Teresa was the hygienist that cleaned my teeth and she was so sweet about everything and my teeth were all nice and clean! Dr. Sam Hutton explained everything so well to me and made me feel better about my anxiety with scheduling/going to dentist and doctor appointments.

My wife has been using Andy Woodard since she was 18, upon his retirement she continued to stay and use the Huttons. Her tooth they said needed a filling was perfectly fine, she had no issues. They filled it & she ended up with a cracked tooth and us out $700 for a crown. The new front desk lady is very rude. Not 1 time did we get told about the cost until it was done and she was literally walking out the door to leave. No one told us our Ins. Benefits had been exhausted. Needless to say we are both at a new office.

If I could give Tracy & Teresa the dental hygienists five stars I would but this review is not about them. My husband and I have been going to this office for approx 25 years. Today, my husband broke his tooth and I called to see if he could come in this afternoon. The receptionist said there was no chance of seeing the dentist because they were much too busy and perhaps he could come in on Monday. She never bothered to double check with the dentist at all. That ruffled my feathers! I asked her for a recommendation for another office and she coldly told me to just check the "phone book"! This would never have happened if Andy Woodard still owned the business. He would have stayed over and seen my husband if he needed to. Monday, is a long time to wait when your tooth is broken. Well, I did not check the "phone book" but did get online and found someone who could see him! This place will be getting our business going forward. They handle emergencies and are even open on Saturdays. I called Hutton's office back and told the same receptionist to cancel any future appointments we have with them and I told her why. I told her to be sure to tell the dentist why he lost 2 patients today. So, in case she did not, now they will know. Maybe Dr. Hutton would have tried to work him in, I can't really say since he/she was never asked.

I would choose wisely a family dentistry practice in Columbia. Hutton Family Dentistry will cost you a fortune. The bill pictured below is for ONE TEETH CLEANING! Check out the exorbitant number of x-rays that insurance may or may not cover, at which they don’t bother to tell you until you get the shocking bill. This will be our first and last visit needless to say.
