I can't express enough how much of a gem it was for me to find this Dental team. I'm someone who has some bad dental anxiety, among other things, and dental appointments of any kind are extremely hard for me. The entire team here are so compassionate, non judgmental, and friendly. They go way above and beyond to do the best they can to bring my anxiety down and make the experience as comfortable as possible. The care they show is what keeps me coming back, despite my anxiety. They absolutely are rock stars and I can't recommend them enough.

Have been to Dogwood now for cleanings for myself and my two kids, as well as two fillings! Dr. Taylor is so calm and kind, taking true care of each patient. She talked me through each step of getting the fillings and checked in regularly to make sure I was comfortable. She was patient and cheerful with my young kids too! Office staff is also cheerful and helpful. Highly recommend.

Let me tell you, I have been terrified of the dentist since I was a kid until now! I have found an amazing dentist office in a Cookeville. I am so thankful to have made the change. They were able to get me right in when I called. Eden Ashburn did an phenomenal job on my cleaning and educating me on things to help my periodontal disease. Dr. Taylor walked me through my X rays to education the things she seen on them. She also explained where I was on several teeth that my previous dentist said I needed crowns in. Not to mention I purchased a Sonic Water Pic that would help maintain my Periodontal Disease. I been needing one of these for a good long while! It was a game changer when it came to getting those particles out of the pockets of my gums I can’t wait for the of my family to move over to this office as well.

Best dentist! Dr. Taylor is very competent and personable. Rachel is a great hygienist. Rest of the staff friendly. Highly recommend.

Top notch from the moment I walked in. Receptionist was very warm and welcoming. Rachel was very thorough in the services rendered and took time to explain the procedures. Dr. Taylor was very professional and was offering a new patient discount. Most thorough exam and cleaning in my 40 years of dental care.

Dr Taylor is the BEST!!! I'm a 6ft 250lb tattooed man, and not much scares me, but I suffer from EXTREME anxiety and things like this gets me every time!! She was understanding and walked me through the process like a pro. I bet shes never seen a pair of shoes come off so fast in her life, it's a comfort thing!!

Imagine that you are a 7-year-old girl and that in a dental clinic in any country, you undergo an extreme procedure without anesthesia. As a result of this traumatic experience, you will never return to a dental clinic. Then the years go by and with maturity and the irremediable traces of time and the lack of medical attention in that sense, comes the need to return to the destination. I imagine that like me, many strong and low frequency emotions such as fear and shame take over you; However, if you, if necessary, had the happiness of attending a dental clinic where each of its workers seem to have been taken from some branch in heaven, to the point that you do not feel that you are in a clinic dental and completely forgets about your traumatic experience. Well, this has been my case and I want to thank the staff at Dogwood Family Dental, especially Dr. Taylor, her husband Logan, the sweet Samantha and the kind receptionist, Jude. I feel more than satisfied with the perfect job that everyone did, I can smile again. Thank you thank you thank you.

Dentist was ok. Office personnel not so much. Was told they would accept my insurance, then after my work was done they said it was the wrong company. Called to try and work something out with no success. I don’t mind paying my part but do not feel I should pay full amt.

I came here in May. I hadn’t been to the dentist in 5 years. My teeth are clean and heathy again thanks to them.

I had a very good experience. It was my first time going to the dentist in about 10 years so I was nervous, but they were extremely nice and put me at ease. I'm so glad I found a dentist I can trust!

Never been a big fan of going to the dentist and would often put off going for years at a time. Got to the point where a tooth was killing me and causing me a ton of discomfort, someone suggested Dr. Taylor. I gave it a shot, she was very professional, explained everything she was going to do in the procedure, and made a priority to ease my anxiety about the dentist office. Best dentist I’ve ever been to, even keep my 6 months cleanings. Never been more happy to show off my smile.

Dr. Taylor Enochs-Engler has absolutely changed my life! My teeth were uneven and had a space between my front teeth. After several trips to other dentist who would fix temporarily then have to go back over and over.....Dr Taylor put veneers on my fronts. They are perfect! Not so perfect they look false but absolutely look so good!!! She will be my dentist from now on!!!!

Undoubtedly the best dental-related experience i’ve ever had. From the first day I visited this office I’ve felt as though I’ve been cared for and treated like family. Conveniently located near downtown next to Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and personable dentist/hygienists — highly recommend!

3 out of 3 fillings has not worked, needed root canal from get go, missed filling on a tooth 1st time. She is ruining Dr. Childress who i went to for 10 yrs.running business in the ground. Many patients have left. Will never go back. The staff is 5 star Judy, Christina. ect. the ones that have been there forever. Unfortunately they inherited a bad Dentist.

I haven’t had great experiences at the dentist so I hadn’t been in a few years and was feeling insecure and worried about going back to the dentist. I came to see Dr. Taylor and both her and my dental hygienist there treated me so respectfully and kept me very informed while also being kind and pleasant to be around. They made me feel much better about all of my fears and worries. I would definitely recommend to anyone!

I cannot express how I was not looking forward to going back to a dentist after a 10 year hiatus. I was terrified, and ashamed and full of dread. From the minute I walked into this office, up until I left, I was completely at ease, and felt like I had come home. The office is welcoming and unassuming. The staff is friendly and before anything was done, everyone explained in detail what was going to happen. Dr. Enochs-Engler, you have restored my faith in the profession! GO SEE HER!!!!!
