Dr. Garrett is the kindest, most compassionate dentist you can imagine. I am incredibly thankful to have found her and her staff. I had a traumatic experience at the dentist as a child and neglected my teeth for decades. Dr. Garrett never made me feel ashamed or embarrassed. She welcomed me and got right to work on getting my teeth fixed. I will be a patient for life and tell everyone I meet how amazing she and her staff are. If you need a dentist in the Memphis area, do not hesitate to go here. The receptionist knows every patient and greets you by name when you check in. The wait time from check in to chair is minimal (I have never waited more than 5 minutes) and as soon as you are in the chair, Dr Garrett is in the room. I can’t say enough how much I appreciate the patient care here.

It’s always risky to change dentist. Alexandra is my first dentist after I moved to Memphis/Germantown area. I will never come back again. There are many dentists with good reviews, but most of them don’t accept my dental insurance. So the insurance company found me this one. There were only two reviews, but I decided to give it a shot, and it turned out to be a big mistake. The main reason I was looking for a dentist was to replace a crown. On my first visit there, they did x-ray, deep cleaning, and gave me a quote of $390 out of pocket including crown replacement and two other fillings. But during my second visit, after they removed my old crown, they said I need root treatment and charge me >$1000 out of pocket for everything. The x-ray result from my first visit clearly shows I need root treatment. But they didn’t tell me, until the second visit when I was on their chair. These people are either dishonest or not professional. At least they would not like to help their patients make good strategic plans to take advantage of the insurance. I guess I can understand why there were not many patients and why there were only two reviews from many years ago. If you are looking for a new dentist, try one with many good reviews, and definitely not this one!

Due to an old filling that broke, on Dec. 9 I had crown work in Dr. Garrett's office. This was pretty intense for me so I tried to hide my nervousness. Dr. Garrett and her staff put me at ease and demonstrated solid confidence in getting the job completed. I left the office feeling much better with a temporary crown filling the hole in my tooth. On Dec. 23rd I returned to the dentist office to get the permanent crown placed. This was so easy and quick! Also, I was expecting Dr. Garrett to have to keep trying it on for a better fit. NO! It fit perfectly the first time in place. I was so impressed and relieved. Great job by Dr. Garrett and her staff! Thank you!
