I find it strange that this Dentist doesn't allow parents to go back with the children. I ask if this was a COVID policy and they said no. It's their opinion that children do better when parents are NOT in the room. I find this creepy and extremely unsettling. I ask if I could at least meet the Dentist. The front desk Clerk Abby said you send your child to school and do you know his teachers. I let Abby know absolutely know and communicate with my sons' teachers. After push from the front desk clerk Abby Mark Smith did finally come out and at least introduce himself.... while he was not rude both he and the front desk clerk were clearly annoyed by my request. The second visit was even worse. I will never take my son back. Terrible service.

Horrible office. Just told me to find another office because their doctor no longer takes my insurance. No communication, my son has an issue right now, but basically told to figure it out on my own. Thanks for nothing, and your dental assistants suck. No bedside manner, more interested in $$ than patients. Good riddance. If I could give zero stars I would. BEWARE!!!!!!

My 17 year old booked appointment with Mark and was seen and only done x-rays before a different person seen her to tell her they didn't take her insurance and before a fever 2 days, sobbing in pain, and complaining her mouth hurts we had made an appointment Tues for Bullington to see her 10a on Thursday to find out at 7:30a Thurs he won't see her because someone else done a cleaning etc which wasn't done but apparently "office policy" is he won't see anyone who's let someone else touch their teeth which never happened but insurance was billed for a cleaning, x-rays, and something else and after a trip to urgent care at 8:30 that morning by 8p she was in ER with fever 103.8 and admitted to Niswongers for aggressive IV antibiotics. Double check what insurance is billed for when using these people but I would suggest going outside GVL because now she can't even get her cleaning done again for an extra 6 months. Dr Stinson in Jeff City is seeing my daughter at 5p today on a Sunday to see if he can get her issue resolved. Between these people and Bullington my 17 year old could have died from an infection that came from nowhere

I love the dentists at this office and believe they truly have the patients best interests at heart. However, getting through the hoard of women at the front desk and hygienists to get professional opinions from the dentists on what to do with my childrens teeth care is a nightmare. The receptionist is clueless. I’ve begged her to schedule cleaning appointments and we show up and find out that although it’s on my card confirming I have one they seem to have misplaced the appointment information. We sit in the outer office for 30 mins to an hour every time waiting for a cleaning or to see the dentist. Half the time while we are waiting to see the dentist or hygienist someone else walks in and says “I’m here for my appointment” and the receptionist says, “you don’t have an appointment today!” Do they just lose every other appointment?! Often I have to beg for sealant or other preventative services and they fight me tooth and nail not to do them. I really don’t get it. I’ve never seen a medical facility hell-bent on not providing preventative services like this. Headed to find another dentist. Ugh!

This denist has been great to my 3 boys! They try to get them their cleanings in one day so im not having to bring one a week. They have told me the next visit we will be doing work or caps or whatever. I do understand why i can't go back with them cause if momma aint back there they dont cry. So i understand that. The only thing i dont like is that they only in greeneville wedensday and some Thursdays. But for 3 years they hsve been 👍

If you can prevent from having to use this dentist I would strongly advise it, especially if you have children. They only take children on thursdays, they do not allow parents to go back with the child and they do not explain much nor tell you what procedures will be taken. Worst dentist I’ve ever experienced.

When I was 11, he treated me like I was a 4-year-old. My parents weren't allowed to the exam room with me. They did EIGHT caps without telling my parents that they were going to do them all at once. I don't remember if they used gas on me, but I remember them barely being done and escorting me up and out, but my legs were weak, so I leaned against the wall and slid down. The nurse just worriedly told me that I could not stay there. When I got back to my parents, the looks on their faces were as if they were seeing a ghost. We never went back. Granted, this was 20 years ago, but I just thought that others should know my experience. It was as if they were trying to squeeze as many kids and as much work as they possibly could, all at once, so they could get as much money as possible in a day's work.

Staff not very friendly..waste of time cause the dentist that accepted my sons insurance no longer sees children. My son is special needs and the nurses were a complete joke.. Even left the chair leaned all the way back.dentist is wither good or he heard me complaining the entire 45 min we had to wait on him. I had even called in advanced to let thwm know of my sons condition because he usually has to be sedated for things of this nature.he grinds his teeth and has cavities and the seemingly uneducated nurse acted as if it were my fault.only gave a two because the dentist actually talked him through instead of scaring him by forcing my sons mouth open like the nurses did. When you pretty much live in dr.s and specialists offices crying is to be expected in case they did not know.
