Since moving to Tennessee about 17 years ago I have had several dentist/offices that I was unhappy with. Either they would overcharge, rude receptionist, ect. But we found our with Chesney and the whole team is great. Even my 11 year old doesn't mind visiting the dentist, that should be proof in itself!

This business never once sent me an invoice and sent me to collections for "unpaid ledger balances." I submitted payments to them every time I was in the office for what they billed. I paid my insurance premiums. They made their own billing mistakes and without contacting me ONCE, they send me to collections. I was forced to do their billers work for them to resolve their own collections issues and it's taken over two hours of my time, not to mention, they never resolved the issues. I'm very disappointed in their business office for their lack of effort to contact me as a patient, especially a patient who always has paid them as I was instructed when in person.

Let’s be honest, not many people enjoy going to the dentist, but Chesney Dentistry makes it enjoyable. Their staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable. My hygienist talks to me like a friend and takes away the nervousness I get when going to the dentist. Seeing the actual dentist is short and sweet but overall a great experience whenever I go.

My daughter has severe anxiety about new situations and is often fearful of medical/dental procedures. Dr. Chesney and his staff have always been very kind and mindful of my daughter's needs and they are very gentle with her. They also explain what they are going to do so that she can understand and her fears be put to ease. They are also very accommodating and patient with my needs as well as a concerned and often overly cautious mother. I am pleased and thankful for Dr. Chesney and his team. I had called the Tazewell pike location but they were booked solid. They gave me the number for the Loudon Road office. I called them and they got me in to see Gary Chesney. When I arrived it didn’t take long for them to take me back. They took X-rays and then Dr. Gary came in and checked my teeth.They gave me Advil for my pain. They did another X-ray and he said it appears to be an infection and I would need to see an oral surgeon. They got me an appointment while I was there and I went straight to Dr. McConnell. Both offices were great and very Accommodating. What I thought was a bad tooth ache turned into an infection and Dr McConnell gave us our options. We decided to have the tooth pulled. He did this while we was there. He called about 9:00pm and checked on me. Both Gary’s office and Dr McConnells offices were great.
