My 15 yr old daughter had a dental emergency at 4pm on Friday. She complained of her mouth hurting when I picked her up from school. When I got home and looked at her face without her mask I saw her right side of her face was really swollen. I called her pediatric dentist and the after hours person wouldn’t answer the phone and my dentist was leaving right as I called so I was frantically trying to find a dentist to see her. I knew this didn’t need to wait until Monday. I called his office and the receptionist checked to make sure he would see her since she wasn’t his patient and by this time it was well after 4 and he probably was finishing up for the day. She told me to come on over. When we got there, he saw her right away. She had a delayed infection from her wisdom teeth being cut out back at the end of December. He put her on antibiotics and made sure she had pain meds just in case she needed them because she was hurting pretty bad at this point. He told me to call her oral surgeon on Monday to follow up but that if I couldn’t get in with him or if I needed anything over the weekend to be sure and call him. Such a great guy to do this for a patient that isn’t his. He is alright in my book!! I appreciate him and his staff so much because as a parent you do not want to see your child hurting!!

Dr. Poarch has been my Dentist for almost 25 years. I have walked into his office needing emergency surgery late in the day and he and his staff made sure I was taken care of. Most recently, he came into the office on his day off to work on a crown that I damaged. I have had extensive work from fillings to crowns. I am sure there are many Dentist in the Murfreesboro area that can provide services that you need but I can assure that when you leave Dr. Poarch’s office your dental work will be as close to perfect as possible. There have been many times where I have been pleased with his work, but he continues tweaking until he gets it perfect. His workmanship is what sets him apart. After each office visit when I have had major work done, he will call later that evening to make sure that I’m not experiencing any problems. If you are looking for a Dentist who has the skill set to take care of your dental needs, Dr. Poarch and his team will take great care of you.

His dental hygienist, Kimberly, is wonderful and knowledgeable as well! This dentist stands behind his work as well! Rachael cleaned my teeth just yesterday and was SO thorough! Dr. Poarch’s office was my best experience in a dental office. Katie was my hygienist and she was very thorough and professional. There was no run around in their treatment plan and I could tell they truly valued my business. I would highly recommend Dr. Poarch’s office!

It takes a few experiences with bad dentist to truly appreciate a good one when you find one. Dr. Poach was recommended to us when we moved to town from East TN. I have had several fillings replaced and most recently a crown. I cannot express how thankful I am for Dr. Poarch. He took time explaining the needs and why he was recommending certain procedures. His craftsmanship on the fillings and crown is quite remarkable. My wife and I both appreciate the care we have received from him and his staff. Kimberly helped most recently on my crown and our hygienist is Rachel and we see her every time we visit. I can’t recommend Dr. Poarch highly enough.

My husband needs extensive dental work. Dr. Poarch was very upfront and straightforward about what needed to be done, the consequences of not having it done, and the cost. We appreciate his clarity and also the efficiency, politeness and kindness of his staff. A win-win situation!

Dr. Poarch is direct in his approach - which can take some getting use to;). He’s also one of the best in the area; I speak from experience as I’ve had years of extensive dental work done, and have spent a small fortune on my teeth (leading to some healthy anxiety surrounding dental care). Having moved from out of state about two years ago, he was my first stop, I then tried other dental offices in the area who were overly nice, not as direct, you know - speaking to you in a calm voice, calling you honey or dear, all that razzmatazz that did ease my anxiety…while I was calmer going to the dentist, my dental health declined rapidly. I ended right back at Dr. Poarch’s office. You see, he was right all along. So you can choose - the honey dear or let’s be clear, for me I’ll take the later. Thank you Dr. Poarch!

This was my first dental visit in twenty years. I have never felt comfortable going since I was a little kid. I finally went and it was more than obvious I picked the right place. Dr. Poarch had come highly recommended by a personal friend and I was not let down. His office staff was wonderful and the facility was super nice. The hygienist was superb and was very of aware of my nervousness. However, she did a great job and also put me to ease without me even knowing. Dr. Poarch was a “to the point” Doctor but in the most friendly and professional way. I felt 100% confident in everyone there and actually look forward to my next visit.
