My wife and I were vacationing in the area, and I had a serious toothache. At 9:00 AM, I started going down the list and planned to call every dentist in Sevierville, if necessary. I had to have some relief! The first office I called didn't answer - just a recording. The second one on my list was Dr. Pippin. A very nice lady answered, and I informed her of my situation. She said the doctor could see me in about an hour! Dr. Pippin and his entire staff were just great. As it turned out, I needed a root canal, and I was extremely pleased with the procedure - absolutely no pain whatsoever! I've been treated by many different dentists in my 71 years, and I think this was probably the best experience I've ever had in a dentist's office. You can't go wrong with Dr. Pippin.

Outstanding service and probably the best dental staff I've experienced in my 53 years. Due to a horrific past experience with a Morristown dentist, I developed a bit of PTSD when it came to dental care. This resulted in waiting too long to have my teeth cared for. I recently found myself in severe pain from a cracked tooth, but due to my fear of dentists I let it go until I couldn't stand the pain anymore. I found Dr Pippin on Google and spoke with Tammy, his AMAZING employee. I explained my extreme fear of dentists and from the first moment on the phone, Tammy put me at ease. From the moment I arrived the staff was amazing. I waited less than 5 minutes in the waiting room. Tammy once again put me at east while doing x-rays and explaining what to expect. I was EXTREMELY nervous, like BP 180/104 nervous. Dr Pippin came in within minutes and explained my limited options (my own fault) and assured me that I would not go through what I went through with my previous dentist. His calm voice, very gentle touch (I was in serious pain), and Tammy hovering over me like a mother hen completely changed my feelings about going to the dentist. I felt NO PAIN during or after having my tooth removed and even later in the evening, I was able to control the soreness with Tylenol. I can not say enough good about Dr Pippin and Tammy. I have to have additional dental work on another cracked tooth and I feel no anxiety about it thanks to them. If you're afraid of dentists becuase of a bad experience, Dr Pippin is the one for you. BEST care in east TN if you ask me.

I have been going to Dr Pippin for several years with great results. In the past I have had him put on a couple one hour crowns with a perfect fit and yes each took one hour start to finish. I just went for a cleaning and check up this week and the hygienist was very thorough and friendly. Dr Pippin was very professional and gave me good news after looking at a couple potential problem areas with no need to do anything to them other than using a special flouride toothpaste. Last spring I thought I needed another crown but he said it wasn't necessary. He repaired the tooth with a filling instead which saved me a lot of money. I will always return to Dr Pippin even though I live out of state during the winter.

I’ve been to the dentist many times before I made the drive to Pippin Dental Care, and I can’t say I had the best experiences. So I was dreading going there as well, but to have one of the largest teeth in my mouth removed was a breeze there it seemed like. It was very quick, and I can’t say any part of it was painful at all, and I’m a wuss when it comes to shots and sharp stuff. I was very happy I made the drive up there after hearing numerous positive things about them, I’ll be going back!

Pippin Dental Care, Sevierville, TN. Crown in the back of my mouth fell out. The crown was in perfect condition. I immediately rinsed my mouth with water and then used ACT Fluoride Rinse. The crown went right back in place beautifully, no problem at all. I bit down and my bite was perfect, it was as if the crown never fell out. The next morning I called Dr. Pippin’s office. There was no answer even though their website said they were open on Thursday’s. It was over 5 days since my crown fell out and I put it back in when I finally got in. I had no problem at all with it. I ate & brushed my teeth just fine with no problem at all. I could have just left it the way it was but I wanted to make sure my tooth underneath was fine with no decay. I never asked how much they’d charge for my visit if it just needed to be cemented back on. I thought maybe it would be $120. They had me signing all kinds of papers before I was seen by Dr. Pippin. Including one that stated if he damaged any teeth by the one he was working on I’d be responsible for paying for them to be fixed. I thought that was odd but I signed it. And of course the piece of paper agreeing to pay for whatever his charges were had to be signed. I was actually looking forward to meeting Dr. Pippin and having a Dentist here. What a terrible experience I had with him. He was not friendly or welcoming AT ALL. He made me feel as if I were a dead pig with maggots crawling all over me. I have a number of crowns in my mouth so I’m familiar with normal procedures with the crowns and the temporaries. I was also a dental assistant when I was younger. So Dr. Pippin checked for sensitivity. My tooth was not sensitive at all, no pain, which is great so he just needed to cement the crown back on. He said he was going to clean it up and then put the crown on. He did not brush an antiseptic on my tooth before putting the crown on. The antiseptic has a distinctive odor which I did not smell and my past experiences is I can feel it g

I actually really liked this place. They were my favorite. When Dr. Pippen told me on my first visit that it was a no pain clinic and to raise my hand if I felt pain my fears literally washed away. It's incredible sad that I'm looking for a new dentist because my last visit,. I Was charged 70$ with insurance for a cleaning when I told Laura I had insurance she said it wouldn't go through and I had to pay so I gave her cash. My receipt had something other than what I paid for and even the other ladies mentioned it and laura brushed it off saying they would send my money if I had insurance. Later I got a bill for 70 something more dollars!! Days of arguing with Laura I had to have my insurance threeway call her and she was still rude. There's no way I will ever go back to A PLACE THAT WILL ROB YOU.
