Dr. Nava and her staff, particularly Donna, got me in while I was on a cross country bike trip. My tooth was cracked and they fixed the problem well enough for me to continue for the next 5 weeks. Everyone was professional and I appreciate they squeezed me in at the last minute.

Bella Dental is the most horrible dental service I have ever been to. I would give it zero stars if I could. After getting an X-ray and then scheduling a root canal for myself and a regular checkup for my toddler, I canceled my root canal last minute because I found out I was pregnant the day of my appointment. I was only a few weeks pregnant, and not wanting to be under any medications. Apparently cancelling and wanting to reschedule an appointment isn’t allowed. I received a letter days later saying I was no longer welcome at her practice, Dr Nava didn’t want to see me anymore. I had been ‘dismissed’. And also my child. There are limited services here in Alpine, I couldn’t believe she had done that. This is the most horrible treatment I have ever received at a medical facility, for no reason at all. She is heartless and all she cares about is your money, and having preferred clients. She’s a joke, and a disgrace to this community. I would avoid at all costs and visit Family Health Services of Alpine Dental. They accept adults for now. But now I have to travel extremely far for my child’s dental appointments.

Need an appointment for a tooth removal.

Extremely disappointed. There is a complete lack of communication between the front desk and dental staff - I had to explain what I needed done multiple times to different people. They were not prepared for my visit and I had to wait quite long. I came to get wisdom teeth removed and brought x-rays done specifically for that purpose from Austin-based dentist. They looked at the x-rays, then looked into my mouth for probably five seconds and stated that I need to get more x-rays. That was counted as an exam. The situation is especially upsetting because these people are the only ones that do extractions in the area.

They have done an excellent job with my grandson's teeth! Customer service has been super!

Such a great dentist and friendly staff! I was on vacation and in extreme pain. They were able to fit me into the schedule, prescribed antibiotics and something for the pain until I could make it back to Houston for a root canal. Pain was under control in 24 hrs. Thank You!!!

Bad services

Literally a joke of a practice!! In the middle of my cleaning the dentist got up and left without a word to send someone else in to tell me she was done with the cleaning and wouldn’t continue because I wasn’t “relaxed enough” for her. That I would have to reschedule (after waiting months) to get numbed for a cleaning!!! May I mention that I was in the chair for maybe 10 minutes, when this happened. Completely unprofessional. Go somewhere else!

They are too busy and in a hurry to provide the proper precautions for children. I would not recommend this dentist for kids.

Dr. Nava and her staff are nothing but wonderful. I truly enjoy visiting. Definitely recommend.

I have been to this clinic several times, most recently for a molar extraction and my experience has always been fantastic! I chose Bella Dental because my uncle referred me and I will be referring other family and friends into the future. They have strict COVID protocols before being allowed inside and the exam rooms and bathroom are very clean. The technicians and doctor are professional, have great bedside manners and are obviously confident in their skill(s). P.S. I recommend taking some of the other reviews, such as those with emotional verbiage, with a grain of salt. It's not true that a pregnant person "cannot take any medication" and it's contradictory for a person to say the doctor did and didn't speak to them. If you want competent and compassionate dental care: go to Bella Dental and experience their services for yourself.

Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! At first you think the office staff is very inefficient because after your initial visit then your appointments are cancelled and rescheduled over and over. Turns out if you object the dentist then turns her ire on you. A true disgrace for Alpine and deserves no stars.

I have been travelling in my RV since 12-24-19 and while at Big Bend NP I developed an extremely painful tooth. Not many dentist in this part of the state. I called Dr. Nava’s office at 8:45 am. I spoke to the office receptionist and was advised the first appointment available was March 1st. I explain my concerns and that I was traveling in the area. She spoke to the doctor and was willing to see me that day at 2:30pm. Dr. Nava advised me that I have an infection in one of my molars that requires a root canal but with medication would relieve me of the infection but when I return home in the end of March I would require a root canal. My experience was favorable. Dr.Nava took the time to explain her diagnosis and her recommendation.She was very professional and personable. Reviewing her credentials I was extremely impressed. Not many dentist have the training and experience that she has. Most dentist practices are focused on certain area of dentistry. She has certifications not only in general dentistry but also in endodontistry, implants and others areas and is a great asset to the community.

Terrible!! Made an appointment for an extraction, took time off work for this. Showed up for my appointment, she loomed at the tooth and said it needed to come out, looked at her assistant and said “schedule her for an extraction “. That’s what my appointment was for! Never again!

The dental staff is fantastic, while the office staff leave a bit to be desired. But all in all, everyone here is very kind. We really like Dr. Nava and have confidence in her ability. Our only big complaint is how often we are bumped and rescheduled, especially at the last minute-- it's happened to me and my husband at least 4 times in 2 years.

Her staff are kind and caring. She on the other hand is rude. I have auto immune disorder, she wouldn't know that because she never even talked with me. She said she wouldn't help me then turned around and left. This has happened twice. I was willing to give her a second chance because a friend told me to. Never again. BTW, it sucks to go in with pain and come out with pain and tears.

Wow! After reading some of the reviews, I wasn't expecting much. Dr. Nava was efficient, professional and very knowledgeable. I have been using a dentist pretty regularly, then I moved. I hadn't even thought about it until suddenly I had an issue with a tooth! The staff worked me in that morning. Dr. Nava took a look at the x-ray, then in my mouth, and BAM: told me exactly what was going on. She was spot on! I wasn't looking forward to having to start over, explain what all work I've had done, get to know and TRUST a new dentist...Dr. Nava made that easy! I've already scheduled a follow up visit. Also: the staff were as polite & helpful as the good Doctor, and the equipment seems "state of the art." I've found my new dentist...Thank you all!!!

Dr. Nava was so kind, gentle, and even funny as she extracted my tooth. It was completely painless and she talked me through the whole thing. I highly recommend Bella Dental! And thank you, Dr. Nava ❤️
