Love Mr. Emilio Hernandez but the office staff manager or the older lady who runs your insurance has a horrible attitude! I came out of my cleaning in a good mood and then they take you to her for payment & scheduling and she gives me attitude for ask a question for something I wasn’t sure about. I absolutely hate staff like that. I’ll be going back only because I’m happy with his work but lord help me with that lady.

Everyone from front desk, hygienist to the dentist were incredibly kind and gentle with the my kids (who were nervous about their dentist visit) Scheduling my appointment was quick and easy and the staff is great! My son walked out asking when we would be visiting again!!

Dr. Alisha Hernandez did amazing work on my teeth. She made sure I was comfortable and not in any pain or had feelings of discomfort while working on my teeth. I was very happy with how they looked after my cleaning/fillings were done. I highly recommend Dr. Hernandez to anyone looking to get work done on their teeth.

I had a great experience here. Scheduling my appointment was a breeze. My husband’s appointment had to be scheduled a bit further out, but the receptionist let us know she would call if there were cancellations to move up my husband’s appointment, which is so helpful! I saw Dr. Alisha Hernandez and she was so wonderful! I have dental anxiety and even without telling her, I was still treated with such kindness and understanding. Highly recommend!

This review is directly regarding the scheduling staff. I called as a new patient wanting to schedule an appointment. The lady that answered the phone was extremely short and irritated. Her responses were acting as if I was inconveniencing her. I had all my information prepared and was able to answer her questions, but in the end I hung up because of how rude she was treating me, without scheduling.

The doctors and staff are very knowledgeable and the entire office/practice is friendly, timely and knowledgeable. I love that you have stable, dependable staff-not a lot of turnover. You make dental care easy, pleasant and understandable of what and how we should care for our teeth in between visits. I’m always happy to go see my dentists and dental hygienist!

Best dentist experience ever! Had a dental emergency and right from the first call the staff was so compassionate and fast to schedule my visit, unlike others we called that sounded bothered & only had appointments about a month away. Everyone was super professional explaining each step of the process, and continuously checking in if everything was alright or anything hurt. Their technology blew me away, we used to visit a very expensive dentist in Matamoros but we’re definitely switching to Dr Emilio Hernandez from now on. They even helped us set up a payment plan for our final bill, wanted to cry tears of relief when they finished because I no longer felt pain and they truly welcomed us like family. 10/10 5-Stars service!!!

Dissappointed, I called to make an appointment with Dr. Hernandez because Iam having havy pain on the area of my mouth where Dr. Hernandez had done a procedure. The office staff did not give me an appointment until the visit was approved by the VA. SAD and in Pain.

Horrible Experience! I had been going with Dr. Hernandez for many years. Until one day, he removed the silver fillings from the right side of my back molars cracking one of my teeth. I was very disappointed and let him know. I have always had strong healthy teeth, which I took pride in caring for with ritual cleanings every 3 months. I now need a crown on that back tooth, which he claims he never caused or broke. Dr. Emilio Hernandez is unprofessional and untrustworthy. He argued the fact that he didn’t break my tooth when in fact, I over heard him telling the poor assistant, “Did you say anything to her.” My x-rays show this is a fact. I had no broken teeth until after he yanked the fillings off that day. He showed a lack of respect and compassion to a client that had been with him for many years. Neither, I or any of my family members see him anymore. We are very pleased with our new dentist who fixed his error and provides the professionalism we seek as customers.

Friendly and professional staff. Both doctors are wonderful and very attentive to any needs I may have. I especially love how they thoroughly explain procedures and educate patients. Dr. Hernandez’s office has been great not only for me, but for the whole family. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great family dentist in town.

Refuses to work with patients financially in exchange for deteriorating skills in dentistry. Do better.

Terrible customer service. They don’t care about you or your needs. It’s just about the money. My mom paid over $900 for custom fit teeth and they fell off less than a year later and they refuse to help her with new ones or fixing the old ones. “We would need you to pay another $900 for us to help you”. Imagine spending that kind of money for something that didn’t even last. This dentist needs to remember that he got into a business of helping people, not robbing them.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I was a patient of Dr. Hermandez’s for many years. I trusted him. On my last visit, he removed my old (silver) filings to replace them with white filings. I regret it everyday. I could see he was struggling to remove the old filings and even noticed him sweating. After a few hours, I was in excruciating pain and called the office. I waited for someone to return my call, but no one called. The next day, I called and they said my jaw would be sore because my mouth was open for a while and to get some rest. My jaw felt really sore and I couldn’t eat. After a couple of days, I went back and explained to Dr. Hernandez that this pain wasn’t normal. He said I had a CRACK on my right bottom molar. I thought... what? He continued to tell me I would need a crown procedure. I informed him that this “crack” had to have happened when he removed my old (silver) filings. I told him to review my x-rays because never had it shown a “crack.” In fact, my teeth have always been in great shape because of the regular cleanings and dental care I received over the years. The young lady confirmed and told him in the hallway. I over heard him say, “Did you tell her?” I couldn’t believe it!! I trusted this dentist and it was a HUGE mistake. DO NOT go there if you have heathy teeth because one day, you’ll end up paying over $600 to repair what wasn’t broken in the first place. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED 😔

Just simply RUDE. I’ve heard that you can get a good cleaning if you can get past the problem for bad front desk experience which kind of leaves you to wonder.

Had a crown fall out late in the morning and went to this dentist... ( I have not been here in 10 years )... I was given a 2 pm appointment to reseat the crown. I was seen promptly at my appt time and Cynthia expeditiously reseated the crown. Additionally she took the time to inquire about my last cleaning and set up a cleaning appointment for the following week. This is the second time in 10 years this office has solved my dental emergencies and I am grateful for that. Dr. Alisha is very professional and has a warm friendly personality, as demonstrated by the treatment and care she provides to all; I wish all doctors were like her. The office staff is also very friendly and professional.

Dr. Aisha and Dr. Emilio, Cynthia, and Deanna were of the highest caliber and above reproach. My experience as a first time to the dentist for cleaning and filling my teeth was an enjoyable experience. All of them were professional in their skills. The office staff named Thelma explained my finances where I understood what the cost would be! Thank you to all of you! I will always speak very highly of your establishment! You get an AAA!🏆🥇
