Dental Center of Lakewood

The office manager, Kelly, is unprofessional, unethical, and hostile. She lied about the office being in-network and I received a large bill afterwards. When I was between insurance providers, she refused to look up my coverage for my followup visit and said it was my responsibility to provide the member number before my followup appointment. I did my best to meet her demands, even though she had the means on her end to pull my insurance details. I followed up the day before my appointment (as we agreed by phone) to inform her that my information had not yet been received. She verbally attacked me over the phone. I stopped by the office and calmly asked to speak with the owner. He was out, and she refused to provide his contact information. She started laughing at me, hit the panic button, and threatened the police on me. I have never been treated in such a horrific manor. Kelly is unhinged, and she could have put my safety and life in danger by pushing the panic button. After multiple encounters with this aggressive individual, I can no longer support this business. I do hope Kelly gets the help she needs to manage her anger. The owner should consider the impact Kelly has on the Dental Center of Lakewood’s brand and future business. According to other reviews, misleading patients on in-network status is a trend.

Long time patient of this practice, and like both doctors and my hygienist. Received a $150 bill with no explanation for services performed several months ago. I asked for an explanation since my services have always been covered in the past. They went out of network and forgot to let me know so I was left with expenses I could have avoided except for their failure to notify me. Said they sent email, but none in the regular address where I receive appointment information from them or in my spam (or texts back to 2018). Seems like they would have said something to me when I made my appointment or showed up. Changing networks is their prerogative, but performing services without telling me their status had changed is a dishonest move and so is misrepresenting notice.

I've got to be honest with you. Dr. Green is an UNBELIEVEABLE dentist!! She is very good at what she does. I was in her office having work done yesterday for 7 hours. Dr. Green and her assistant Leslie our like a "well oiled machine" They work so well together. You can tell they "BOTH" know what they are doing and love what they do. Leslie has been doing this for many years. Not once did i worry about what they were doing. Dr. Green explained what she was doing and what was next. You can tell Dr. Green & Leslie has compassion for the patient. I can't tell you how comfortable I was with the procedure they were performing on me. I would recommend anyone that wants a GREAT dentist that knows what she is doing, So the team of Dr Green and Leslie are the ones to see. Thank you Dr Green & Leslie You have a patient for life!! horrible and unclear billing practices - - never made it clear what was owed. 18 months after service, just was told I owe more money. All this initiated with what I was initially told was a no-charge, insurance covered cleaning.

It was my first time as a new patient, Dr. Green was extremely professional and very good if not the best! Leslie was very nice throughout my visit and made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend coming here. Great office, very clean and great staff.
