Two + yr patient for periodontal cleaning. All good until last scheduled appointment. My card said 2/6/23. 9:00 AM. On arrival was advised a mistake had been made as the appointment was the 16 th @ 9:00AM. Takes an hour in traffic to travel to their office and pre-medication due to joint replacements. On 2/15/23 received a call to confirm the 16th appointment. At that time was advised if I would come in at 8:15 AM on the 16th I would be their first patient. Another hour in traffic, pre-meds arrived at 8:00 AM. Told I’d be called in right away. At 8:45 AM no contact. Cancelled my prepayment (which is strange to me) as I have no insurance. Cost of cleaning has risen by 40% in two+ years. Inflation .
