Have been going sometime now, got a text message reminder about appointment but no where in the text does it state that if you don’t call and confirm appointment they will take you off and put you on “wait list” when you arrive. Extremely upset

No, I would not recommend this dentist office! Staff unfriendly. Dr Olson does not give proper care for patients. Hygienist seem unqualified. Tools look unsanitized. Find another dentist

Love the staff! Been going there for years! Dr. Olsen really takes care of her patients. Dental hygienist and dental associates are extremely sweet! Made my experience comfortable since I have high anxiety about going to the dentist. Highly recommended!

Very sketchy practices going on at this location. Two different visits- 1st cleaning by Olson and 2nd visit cleaning by another person. Both visits with nitrious gas. However, on the second visit wss placed at a different room which apparently with various questions asked... turns out the nitrous system does not work as effectively as the one room I was placed the previous time. The water machine that squirts water was not properly functioning... they kept having to work with it to try to keep it working to a mediocre level. The first visit was obviously working with the nitrious gas and helped make it a comfortable experience. This time around it appeared as if they purposely placed me in this half-equipped room to make it a miserable experience. Given the fact that I had an appointment over a month ago and they cancelled it due to "they not having enough Nitrious gas" for the procedure. So then they set the appointment for March of next year. Called earlier this week and after given a few different optional spots for this week. (Before pulling my information in their system) was placed on hold and only with less appointment options this time around. My advice, just go elsewhere. Avoid the playing games or inconsistent practices. 1st visit and 2nd visit was chsrged the same price but totally different experience. Front desk tried to just give excuses and stories at the end when trying to figure out the problem such as "oh it's the because of the different personnel", "it must be that room", "they used a different instrument", "oh the nitrious inspectors came by last week (lol) and verified both are properly functioning the same. JUST GO ELSEWHERE! Not everyone gets treated the same.

Dr Olson and her staff are amazing! When we started with Dr Olson we had just moved to El Paso and both of my teens were in braces. The hygienists were wonderful in teaching the kids to brush and floss properly. The also gave them a package of floss picks that are specifically designed to use with braces. That made the flossing process so much easier! My teens are out of braces now and have a permanent lower retainer. Once again the hygienists have taken time to ensure that proper flossing techniques are used. A bonus, when the braces came off there were no spots on the teeth from the bracket removal. I appreciate all the education that they have done with my teens. We have returned every 6 months for our routine cleanings. They have recently changed to a new fluoride application and I like it so much better. I have had some gum sensitivity and irritation. My hygienist took time to explain the best brushing method to allow my gums to heal and to prevent irritation. I appreciate all the extras the staff does to make our visits effective and enjoyable. We will surely miss Dr Olson and her team!

Excellent care and great front office. When we moved to EP there wasn’t a single other dentist that would put my kids on a waitlist for appointments together before school started. Their front offices were all too busy to care. This office not only put us on the waitlist, but got my kids & myself in without an issue. We’ve been patients for 2 years now and never had an issue. They even keep all the area school schedules on hand to help with scheduling and are super accommodating. They run on time, an oddity for EP. I’ve never had any billing issues - my kids have lost a few of those painted on cavity covers and each time they’ve checked their records to make sure re-application would be covered. I’ve recommended Dr Olson to numerous friends and all have been satisfied. Dr Olson is honest with regards to what needs to be fixed vs monitored. I’ve experienced bad dentists, the ones that want to max your cap with fake cavities and crowns. I’ve done state level complaints about those offices. This is NOT one of those, Dr Olson is great - highly recommend her!

Dr. Olson is a very friendly and personable dentist. The staff are bright and polite. However, their billing and services practices are sketchy. My children were both patients with Dr. Olson's office and I started to notice that I was receiving billed expenses for their visits which were not covered by insurance and passed along to me. The most recent incident began with my son's last cleaning of which I received a bill for over $130. Surprised to see the expense, I had him inquire with the office and they adjusted the bill and I received another invoice, this time for about $80. I inquired again with their offices what services they were billing insurance that were not covered because it was routine and insurance covered all of the expense. They adjusted the bill and invoiced me a third time for $25. I contacted them AGAIN and was told that my son received a 'treatment'...a 'varnish'...and it was NOT covered by insurance. I asked who and how they received consent to perform a procedure not covered by insurance to which Leslie replied 'the hygienist tells them when they apply the varnish'. This is not substantiated by my son, he was never told he was getting a procedure not covered by insurance, he also doesn't recall the application of this varnish. I told Leslie I would notify the Texas Board because I find their business practices sketchy. This type of issue also happened to my mother who was billed for services after insurance did not cover it, but those invoiced services were never done. I would NOT recommend Dr. Olson's office - you WILL be ripped off. And although Leslie made a sly comment, 'this is literally over a $25 charge, I'll just credit your account' - it started at $130...and then $80...and my mother's charges were THOUSANDS....so a hundred for one patient, over billed, a thousand for another...overbilled - that's a lot of $$$...so they are relying on you not noticing, not paying attention to skim you of cash one visit at a time...BE CA
