Great office, staff, and care given. What else do you want in a dentist? ....also if you haven't had the chance to watch Netflix while having your teeth cleaned, you are missing out!!

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Jay for several years and feel as if she is a friend as well as a great dentist. The office staff reflects her personality which is warm, friendly and concerned with the patient. They are all patient and caring. It’s a great place!

Amy always does a very thorough Job cleaning my teeth and does not waterboard me. She and Dr. Jay both do a great job on inspecting and advising on treatments and current condition of my teeth. The office is always clean, nice and inviting with friendly staff on hand.

New neighborhood, a new dentist… After moving I needed to find a dentist that was near my home, and I feel so lucky to have found Dr. Jay, and Serene Dentistry in Mckinney! Most practices have one really friendly, welcoming, professional, excellent staff, leaving the rest to be tolerated or endured. But at Serene Dentistry, every single person there has been wonderful! Whitney, Stephanie, Melissa, Valerie, Dr. Jay, these are the ones I have had contact with on my three visits… Each one of them feels like family or a close friend… beyond that, Dr. Jay is very attentive during her procedures, adjusting the amount of pain medication, with a wonderful bedside manner! They all get along very well with each other, which I think is a great sign of a happy, healthy practice! Thank you, Dr. Jay!

Wonderful crew here at Serene Dentistry - they provide care for me and my father and sister. Ever since I began coming to Serene the staff has been amazing. They do a great job explaining your dental treatment and they are sure to address any and all questions regarding your personal dental care. I wish I would’ve seen the Yelp reviews before coming to this office. I was reluctantly talked into getting two crowns for old fillings, which was ~$1,500. I told the hygienist who was placing the crowns that the tooth was super sensitive and needed lidocaine to place the permanent crown on. I was told the sensitivity was only due to the fact that the tooth was exposed and it would go away. It did not go away, so I went back after giving birth hoping they would correct the issue they caused. I was advised I needed to see a different dentist and pay another $1,500 to drill through the brand new crown and do a root canal. If Dr. Jay referred me from the start, this would’ve taken half the appointments and cost. I refuse to pay them $1,500 more to fix their mistake. Funny enough, they’re trying to convince me to get crowns on two other teeth for old fillings. Definitely not after this experience!

I was so nervous going in. I was pleasantly surprised that the atmosphere is very inviting. The staff is super friendly and Dr Jay is awesome. Also there is Yvonne, she goes over the financial part and she is so helpful. Dr Jay went above and beyond to have my smile looking great. Can’t recommend them enough. Don’t pass on them, you wont be disappointed.

Beware!!!! This is a horrible dentist that will diagnose crowns on teeth don’t need it, she treats her staff horrible and very inhumane with staff and patients! Listen to the other bad reviews she gets and it begins to tell a story of bad experiences over and over. If you take the risk beware of ongoing sensitivity that never goes away, crowns that break and come off, and expect to get a root canal that doesn’t need it. I would never recommend any loved one to her!!! Run from this place!!!!

We go with Serene Dentistry for our entire family. Dr. Jay is great to work with. You could ask any questions regarding your dental hygiene; she would answer in detail and go well with our kids too. Their staff is most helpful and great as well. We have been going with them for two years now and still many years to count for our great smiles! Thank you, Jay and team!!

Dr. Jay has been our family dentist for a while. I had many dental issues as I am paranoid when it comes to the dental chair. Dr. Jay and her team made me super comfortable during the entire process. Not sure if I am actually paranoid any more. I was clearly informed of why things were done and the issues which could come up if ignored. The team was always on time and I never felt rushed. I really like the fact that the team walks you out when you are done. Great dentist and team!!! They genuinely care for their patients well being.

I generally don't post unless I have very good or very bad experience. Few things that caused inconvenience. 1) I have a very small cavity on the right side and other issues. I told doctor let us work on all the other things we will leave this right side teeth. But she recommended to fix. Though I really wanted to wait I followed her recommendation and did the filling. It has been a month that tooth hurts am still not able to eat. I told her she fixed a bit gave some medicine but it didn't help. It still hurts 🤕 I feel very sad for the situation. 2) I took my daughter for cleaning paid full amount and then insurance covered some part they need to pay us the balance it has been more than 6 months. I have to keep calling about it. They said they will call make the check ready. Does it really take 6 months for check to get ready? After this review 1) I got the check immediately on next day. Thanks to staff to make it ready. 2) Reg my treatment Dr Jay called me and worked on my teeth and did some teeth adjustment and also gave Methyl Prednisone. It got much better after that visit 3) I had final visit where doctor asked me where exactly I have problem and I have been told and moved my focus to another teeth and have been told that the teeth that they fixed had no problem and I am talking about some other teeth :). Problem started after the treatment and was getting better once they fix it not sure how it would be different tooth.

Dr. Jay and her staff are professional, thorough, friendly, and kind! I trust their expertise and know that they have their patients' best interests at heart. The office is clean, bright, and welcoming.

I entrusted my dental health and care to Dr. Jay almost ten years ago. I appreciate her conservative approach to dental care and am very happy with the services that I have received in her office. The staff is friendly, caring, and pleasant to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Jay and Serene Dentistry to anyone looking for excellent dental care.

I've been going to Serene Dentistry for years, even though Serene is not located closed to home, it's worth the drive. Dr. Jay is detail orientated and she's someone that you can trust to give you a straight answer on what is needed. Love the level of service I get with Serene!

I have been visiting Dr.Jay's office for more than 5 yrs now, the entire staff at Serene Dentistry is amazing. You get quicker appointments and during the appointments there is almost no wait time, you are taken in immediately. Last week I had my regular clean-up, Dr. Jay and team identified an infection and treated it promptly, which could have resulted in loss of tooth. Thanks Serene Dentistry.

A visit to a dentist is not on my list of favorite things to do (nor is it for anyone else!). However, my sessions with Dr. Jay and her team have been as good as one can hope for. Thery have been very detail-oriented and addressed a number of gaps (literally and figuratively) in my previous treatments. I am very happy with the results.

Best dentistry I have ever been to! Dr. Jay and everyone else are such sweethearts! Very welcoming place considering the dentist’s office can be nerve wracking.
